Black Friday of Amazon Returns…read more Have you ever wondered what you would get if you bought one of those Amazon return shipping crates you see on Facebook from time to time? Well, here you get to get a second pick of those pallets. The inside is very much a hodgepodge of broken boxes and random items. To entice others, they leave a few items of reasonable cost stuck in the detritus of shelves, they also hide a premium table in the middle of the store where you get to fight a mob of fellow shoppers for some of the picks of the litter. It's entertaining in a thrift store with fomo mentality. Some items are worth the splurge, but most are very random specialty parts of questionable quality or weird and funky items you never really knew existed. Give it a try if you're brave, but temper expectations. It can be a random waste of a couple hours, but sometimes you find the diamond in the rough, and getting the bargain can be a win as well

A great bargain store. This is an "odd lot" store, comparable to Ocean State Job Lot and Big Lots,…read morebut the prices seem to be a little better. Plenty of consumable household supplies, home textiles, dishes, cookware, and books. They also have some craft supplies, food, hardware, toys, cheap electronics, and more. It is located in a lower-class part of Manchester, so there are sometimes loitering homeless individuals in the area. For this reason, most of the shopping carts cannot leave the store.

They typically have bedding sets for under $50 but you have to find your bed size (Queen seems to be hard to find). The appliances are normally name brand and great price, I recommend you review their return policy on electronics and thoroughly test things out. Staff is generally nice. FYI: For parents this is also a hidden gem for the popular dumplings and squishy cubes.

"I'd gladly lose me to find you I'd gladly give up what I…read moregot To catch you, I'm gonna run and never stop I call that a bargain The best I ever had" (The Who) Man, oh man, do we love the bargains at Ollie's. This was our first visit to Newington's Ollie's, and we scored a fantastic deal. I am the Committee Chair for a convention next month, and one of the participation activities for the conventioneers will be assembling kits to donate to a Boston charity for children in need. We are set on the school supply side, but we are still a little short on the socks and underwear side for 50 boys and girls. So, when I saw a "15% off" email from Ollie's, it seemed like a divine sign to make a pilgrimage to the new Ollie's in Newington. And guess what we found? How about 5-packs of boy's underwear marked down to $2.99? BEFORE our 15% discount. Thank you, Lord Ollie. Ollie's was stocked to the gills and very neatly shelved. We bought this eclectic mix of goods: a big bag of Dot's pretzels, five boxes of K Cup coffees, a bottle of shampoo, a jar of pickled zucchini, a jar of salsa, and 20 of the aforementioned underwear 5-packs for just a shocking $88. Ollie's is a fun store to browse around in, and today we made out like bandits.

I love this store! I almost love it so much that I don't even want to tell everyone about it,…read morebecause that will deplete the inventory even faster. I've read the reviews and understand all of them, because while I love this store and have a microwave, humidifier, dehumidifier and comforter from here and have bought tons of food from here, I do not go here for clothing because of some of the reasons other people have stated. Finding the right fit for a woman is difficult, so I will not buy things that I cannot try on when they also can't be returned, unless it's something you can try on (shoes/slippers/coats) or like a pajama top (which doesn't have to be perfect) that I did buy and actually loved so much I went back until they had another one available. Value for most things, 5 stars. The food and clothing start at the highest price on Saturday and go down every day until Friday when there's not much left. So some things are not a great deal on Saturday but if you're willing to risk it and go back in two or three days, then the price is cheaper and it's a great value, although some things are still a great value even on Saturday (think protein chips/drinks/bars and coffee)!!!! The line at 10am on a Saturday will let you know how serious some of the regulars are about getting the best quality stuff right after a shipment comes in! Ohh wait, there's more! Enter your phone # at checkout and after you spend so much (maybe $150 but that's a guesstimate) you get $10 off a purchase!!! It can't get any better!

Bargain and adventure shoppers unite!…read more If you know me you know I love OSJL and bargain shopping. They are a closeout retailer that sells all sorts of products, from furniture to food to clothing to shoes and more. The prices are very affordable and budget friendly. They always have random items come through; for example, seaweed snacks and unique hot sauces. Every season, they stock up on items pertaining to that season. For example, right now, there are shovels, gloves, jacket, and more, since it's winter time. If you sign up for their insider's club, you can get coupons. This particular Job Lot is located in a plaza. The parking lot is huge. The store was large also with plenty of space to walk around with a carriage. The store was organized and my favorite section is their food area. There were no lines when I went and the cashier was friendly.
