So some things are not a great deal on Saturday but if you're willing to risk it and go back in two or three days, then the price is cheaper and it's a great value, although some things are still a great value even on Saturday (think protein chips/drinks/bars and coffee)!!!! The line at 10am on a Saturday will let you know how serious some of the regulars are about getting the best quality stuff right after a shipment comes in! Ohh wait, there's more! Being that this store is a dollar store I don't expect it to be perfect, I simply expect a variety of $1 items such as hair ties, clothes pins, greeting cards, art supplies, etc. There were two young employees working during my visit. As soon as I entered the store I asked the young man if I needed a key for the restroom. He told me that I didn't and kindly gave me directions for getting to the ladies room. You have to go through a small area of the back room to get to it but the restroom was cleaner than I expected it to be. A bit later I was looking around for something I thought they might have and decided to ask the young lady if she knew if the store had any. She thought for a moment and took me to the aisle she thought it should be in. Although it wasn't there I appreciate her taking the time to help me. I selected a few other items and went up to the register. It took a moment for the young man to get back to the register when I got there but I was run out and on my way. I don't see the point in spending more than I need to on items that are not meant for long term use or end up broken no matter how much I spend on them. I always use this store as my first stop when throwing a party or hosting a holiday as well. I'm very thankful to have this store in my area.

A pallet of tiles and some paints was also available. I didn't have the experience of donating, yet, but the browsing was a decent experience. Alas, the novelty kids bed was gone before I could inquire. The store has a facebook page if you want a head start in your browsing. The staff (or volunteers?) on site were kind. Overall, a good and green experience.

Certain parts are very messy, particularly the random isle, others are more orderly. There are Dorothy's red sparkling booties that might be good to get into character for Halloween. The first time I ever went into Sheikh's place in Cromwell, also known as Dairy Plus, I had just…read moremoved down the street. I was in there late at night and bought a carton of milk and a few other things totalling 5 bucks. When I reached into my pocket, I looked into my wallet and saw nothing in it. When I looked up embarrassed (knowing that they did not take credit cards), Sheikh said, "Hey, don't worry about it." He had never seen my face before, and he trusted me to pay him back. No tab, never wrote it down. I stopped by the next day and brought Sheikh his 5 bucks. Helping people out is good business. I made the mistake of not realizing that the receipt pops out of the bottom and so I did not grab it and when I returned to the store, Kat took her time to search through all of her receipts, found mine and was able to give me my cash back. I was in the store about nine minutes before I had returned and she had a system that was able to help her locate my receipt. Most people would have told me to kick rocks or gave me such an attitude. But Kat showed her kind heart, her outstanding customer service and such amazing professionalism. She deserves a special shout out and if she isn't already, she definitely should be upper management. Currently they have a large assortment of Easter bunnies, eggs and baskets. Most shelves appeared well stocked and organized. In the skincare isle the Cetaphil stuff and some other brands were under lock and key. They didn't have what I was looking for. I don't think this is Walmart's fault, as it is likely discontinued. I saw a cute shirt on my way out. The cashier completely ignored me. She was talking to a customer behind me. I've been to better Walmarts.
