Their beer selection is key when along the river, and they seem to specialize in canned beverages that you can take out on the river without getting in trouble. They also sell a whole bunch of river accessories, so t-shirts, bandanna, sunglasses, koozies, flip flops and the like. The canned goods are worth noting, since they've all been imported from across Texas and have all kinds of great flavors. If there's no wood on the porch, don't fret. They have a big ol' shipping container full of wood right out front. The clerk was nice when we went in. She had a customer keep an eye on the store while she helped us out with the firewood. The prices here were pretty high for firewood, but cheaper than buying it at the park. I don't think this place is ADA compliant with the steps to get in.

The park they built across the street is beautiful and equipped with a skate park, basketball court, playground and swings. I see why so many of the locals hang out here. I have found great items from food to cosmetics to pet goodies. I was grateful to find they have many options even though they are on the smaller side. When it is cold I often come for the warm and ready gumbo and tortilla soup. Their low carb ready to go meals have made my life so much easier during the busy week. They even have sourdough fresh made in the bakery. I usually end up here over most other stores for my main groceries due to the always pleasant experience. It does tend to get pretty crowded and parking can be tricky. So I often come during early hours during the week.
