For intown shoppers that have been forced to endure the long checkout lines and the lack of stock at the one in the Center-Cities Kroger shopping plaza, just go another mile north on Metropolitan Parkway to the old Lakewood Plaza area and just 3 businesses down from Wendy's is a nice new Dollar Tree with 15 isles of merchandise and a frozen food department in the back. Employees are very helpful and pleasant. This store has a large parking lot too. Be sure to exit at the side street St. John's Ave. that has a stop light or you could find it difficult to exit directly on to Metropolitan Pkwy especially during rush hour. This is store # 5242 and is open 9AM until 9PM 7 days a week.
