After giving birth, my body changed so much but I wholeheartedly believe that with June's classes, I'll gain my self confidence again + pre pregnancy body back. Workout in a sauna…read more.. Ive done Hot yoga and a few 90°+ degrees HIIT workouts. I thought this would be a good high impact amazing workout. All workouts are in individual/family size saunas. But it's all virtual. Meaning no personal feedback. Coaches dont even know your name and all positive shout outs are embarrassingly generic. At the end of the day, I didnt get a workout, I just got Hot. However, I will say, if they were to add a cold plunge, this would be an amazing recovery gym.

But after they get you in a contract, you learn that the app doesn't actually work with your Fitbit or Apple Watch. It doesn't actually keep track of all your calories burned. Also, because the saunas are so small, if you see that someone has booked the room, you don't want to be that second person who filled out that tiny space with someone you don't know. And you'd never book as the third. This means that you can't actually get the work out you want cause it's booked by that one person a lot. I give it a two stars cause they do try but their tech is broken and the concept doesn't fully work. We canceled our contract early and we regret ever signing up.

The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 star is the location moved to Commonwealth and Pomona, and I'm not fond of the new location. Usually parking is not bad, but during the holidays, or when the bars have parties, parking can be a pain. Its located next to the bus and train depot, so I'm a little cautious about my surroundings. As for the yoga, Maria is great. She gently pushes me to increase my learning, and I'm learning its about stretching not about chanting. I'm getting better with each new week. They provide mats and props if you don't have your own, and the students are friendly, willing to lend a hand during class.

Since I have a major back issue (spinal stenosis) I have to be extremely careful about my instructor's knowledge about spinal stenosis (and my other health issues) since I can not do some of the pilates exercises. Jennifer is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about all types of health issues and how to make them better through pilates, but more importantly she is a wonderful instructor who makes taking pilates fun! I have taken both reformer pilates and mat pilates from her and I have to tell you that you will not find a better instructor than Jennifer Shelton.

I would never step foot in a gym before I discovered Chuze and the Cinema room. So, I get frequent migraines all the time. And lights are a trigger for me. Most gyms have this obnoxiously bright lighting, and it just gives me a migraine lol But Chuze has the cinema room that allows me to get a workout in and not get a migraine!!! I am beyond grateful that this gym offers this amenity. This is why I continue to come back to this gym. Years can go by and Chuze will always be my gym. It's a very clean gym. I love that. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Those are great added bonuses. Yesterday I requested help with the hydro massage chair. And the staff was very willing to assist. But the cardio cinema is where it's at for me! This has made such a big difference for me with my migraines and trying to go to the gym.
