5/5!!! Delicious!!!! Ordered 12 bombes. Eat on the day of, and leave it in room temperature. Highly recommend trying the original crema, Nutella and salted caramel (if you have a super sweet tooth and are a caramel lover)!! Personal favourite was their original crema, lemony, creamy goodness. The bombe dough is fresh, sprinkled with powdered sugar. Amazing first bite full of cream! Would definitely come back for sure. TIP: cash only.

The best bombes you can get in all of GTA. The dough is like a puffy cloud--it simply melts in your mouth. They also offer an insane amount of fillings. You can choose fruit jams, custards, Nutella, etc. My personal favourites are the Lemon & Nutella bombes. If you're looking to pick up more than a couple bombes, I suggest calling and placing an order. They carry two sizes and I find the mini bombes easier to devour. The amazing dough aside, this place runs on the oddest, most inconsistent schedule. The owners will decide whether or not to stay open certain times of the day/week/month. One time, they closed for an entire month without any notice. That said, it's always best to call ahead. Also, bring lots of cash as they don't accept any other forms of payment.

I have to say it ... "This place is the bomb!" Or should I have said, it's the bombe! 3 of us went in a few weekends ago. I had wanted to try sooner based on all the reviews here, but they were closed till September 30 this summer. In the meantime, they were monitoring their FB Messenger to respond to inquiries, which I have to say is a great plus for customer service. They were even taking orders that could be picked up on their re-opening day - but I wanted to go for the sit in experience, and so we waited, and did. We went on foot, but I will say that Kris U. is giving a good tip when he says to go through the TD parking entrance off Hwy 7. I remember passing by along Pine Valley and not even being able to see the place, let alone get in very easily that way. Very easy to miss if you don't know exactly where you're getting. Yes, it's a lot like any other Italian bakery in Woodbridge - soccer memorabilia, soccer game on the TV, not a huge eating area, but about 8 or so tables that are not only pretty comfortable but also modish - it makes me think this must be how modern cafes in Italy are decorated these days. SOOOOO clean!!! The decor also includes Vespa memorabilia along with the photos of Rome and Italy. The bombe were delicious, and so were the lattes and cappuccino we ordered with them. For the 3 bombe (I think they were large size, but honestly can't remember, I must have inhaled it even more quickly than I thought) and 2 lattes and the cappuccino, we did need a little more than the $20 I had in hand, but not much more. (They only take cash, so I'm glad other reviews here mentioned this.) I imagine it's true that you should eat them day of, as the pastry is fluffy and delicate, and they are made only when you place the order. They come in about 12 different cream flavours. We tried coffee, and the peanut butter/chocolate. Both delicious and I can't wait to try the others. The coffees were also freshly ground to order, beautiful job on the milk. All the better to see the pretty layers in the latte glasses, which were the cleanest glasses I've ever seen in a cafe, along with the spotless cutlery and dishes. They also arrange sweets trays and platters, so if you have somewhere to go and need to bring something, either an order of the bombes and/or one of the sweets trays are a great item to pick up and take wherever you're going. They also make gelato, next on the hit list for my return ... I'm so glad to have found this place with the help of other Yelpers. Amazing place to drop in to enjoy, and/or to pick up orders for freshly made, authentic Italian sweets.

    A thing of beauty

This was my first time trying a bombe, and it was amazing! They make each one fresh to order- so they're hot, fresh, and very satisfying. I enjoyed it so much I didn't realise I was yelling out loud about how good it was, until the baker laughed and thanked me. The only drawback is this place is cash only which is a little annoying, as you have to walk around a large building to get to an atm. The coffee is also not the greatest and kind of burnt tasting. I probably won't order any more coffee here, but I can't wait to come back for more donuts!

After being told about this place by yelper friends I decided that on a recent lunch with Toronto's Chris P, that we would have to venture it find it. Located just off of Pine Valley Drive (the north side) keep an eye out for the sign because we drove right past it. Pro tip: Best to enter the TD Canada Trust plaza off of Hwy 7 and drive through the parking lot as the turn in off of Pine Valley is a P.I.T.A! Walking in, it's a small 4-5 table set up, and I was surpised to see that they had no ready made inventory on the shelves! Well I soon learned that was because every Bombe you order is made to order, fresh and warm still when you eat Also with a huge line up of pre-orders flying out the door by the 1/2 and full dozen, they need to maintain this business model just to keep up with the orders. They offer two sizes; a small ($1.80 each) and large ($2.75 - approximately I don't recall the prices exactly but that is close). For a snack with a coffee the small is more than you will need but if you've got a serious sweet tooth take on a large! To put things in perspective a small is about the size of 3-4 timbits as one, while a large is bigger than any doughnut you've ever seen at Tims or elsewhere! About 10 different flavours. Chris had the classic Crema flavour which he mentioned had a light lemon undertone to it. I went all in on a Nutella filleld bombe! I soon learned that the reason they're called a 'bombe' is because it's literally like a creamy bomb went off in your mouth the moment you bite in. Totally decadent and totally worth it!!! Eat Crest Out! CASH ONLY

One of my company's suppliers CSR stopped by and gave us a dozen of the chocolate Nutella bombettes. The pastries were still warm when I tried it. Biting into it, the pastry was crispy but slightly greasy. It was very decadent and rich, but it's suppose to be like that. It's best to eat these the same day it's purchased as I've ate another one a day after and it was a bit stale but still tasty.

Loved the place which is a hidden gem in Woodbridge! Has cappuccino and Bombe which is kind of a donut and puff pastry? (Hope I got it right). The coffee was delicious so was the Bombe. People seemed to come in mostly for pickup orders. If you are in the area then It's a must go! True Italian feel of hospitality, food and coffee. Only issue was that they only take cash...but no big deal though

Dropped by this place because of the Yelp reviews. Pleasantly surprised. I got a dozen of the small bombe for 18$ flat. I think the small bombe is the perfect size for a snack. Tried the Original flavour (custard) Bombe as well as the Nutella Bombe. The donut itself is amazing and made fresh to order which I really appreciated. The filling I am still on the fence about. I found the custard to have a lemony flavour, which surprised me and I didn't like too much. The custard wasn't very sweet, which is nice, but was hoping for it to be light and creamy, but wasn't really. And I found the nutella filled bombe was too much overloaded sweetness. But it was tasty nonetheless, went well with a hot tea. I love the donut portion, it's fluffy, crisp on the outside, and cooked perfectly. I will come back to try their fruit flavoured fillings. Service was fast and courteous. This place is cash only sadly.

I've never been inside this cafe....yet! However, I've tried this dessert that came from there, called bombe. Omg! They were so good! Very addictive my family said. Couldn't stop eating them, soon the whole box was gone! They have different ones you can try. We had the Bombe's with chocolate in the middle (like a Nutella taste), strawberry and apple caramel. There are more flavours I would like to try next time. I recommend trying the bombe's at Dolce Bombe if your ever in the area.

As part of a growing chain with several locations across the city, this particular branch impressed us with both its quality desserts and genuinely friendly service. We came as a group of seven, and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us, rearranging tables so we could sit together comfortably. It's those little gestures that make a difference, especially when visiting with a larger group. Our top picks here were the Black Sesame Bingsu and the Tiramisu Bingsu. The Black Sesame Bingsu is a perfect option if you prefer desserts that are less sweet and more refined in flavour. The finely shaved ice is generously dusted with black sesame powder and topped with mochi, red bean, almond flakes, and a scoop of black sesame ice cream. The nutty, earthy notes make this one a standout. The Tiramisu Bingsu is just as delightful, with a mini slice of tiramisu perched on top and then chocolate powder, cheese, and a touch of espresso to bring out that classic tiramisu flavour. Rich and satisfying without being too heavy. The bingsu comes in three sizes: cup, small, and large. We went with the large size, which is perfect for sharing and they conveniently provide sharing bowls to make it easy. We also tried the Butter Bung Eo Ppang (a Korean fish-shaped pastry), opting for the salted butter & red bean filling. It was freshly made, warm, and a comforting and delicious side treat that we'd highly recommend trying if you want something a little different. What presents itself modestly as a neighbourhood Italian bakery reveals, upon closer acquaintance, something altogether more intriguing: a transatlantic pastry dialogue between the Old World and South America, shaped by the hands of a Uruguayan chef who brings both traditions to bear with quiet confidence. The cannoli are, without equivocation, the crown jewel of this establishment. Piped to order, the filling achieves a textural ideal -- sweetly yielding, impeccably creamy, and notably free of the aggressive lemon notes that so often overwhelm lesser versions. The shell delivers a satisfying, delicate crunch, its restraint allowing the ricotta cream to assert itself as the undisputed protagonist. These are cannoli that would draw admiration well beyond the borders of Woodbridge. One ought not to overlook the sfogliatelle, rendered here in golden, shattering layers, nor the cherry-filled donuts -- generously proportioned, freshly made, and possessed of a quality that lingers in memory long after the visit. The facturas, custard-filled and dusted with care, speak fluently to the South American soul of the kitchen, while the empanadas offer a savoury counterpoint of notable finesse. The space itself is intimate to the point of cosiness -- a handful of seats, a tall central table, and a glass case brimming with the day's offerings. The pace is unhurried, the atmosphere warmly domestic. Tony, the proprietor, greets each guest with a hospitality that feels entirely genuine -- the kind of welcome that transforms a transaction into something closer to a visit with an old friend. If one were to offer a gentle note, it might be that the sheer breadth of the offering -- Italian classics alongside Uruguayan specialties and homemade ravioli -- occasionally tests the boundaries of the compact space. Yet this abundance, curated with evident passion, is ultimately more virtue than flaw. La Strada is a bakery for those who understand that the finest pleasures are often found where one least expects them.
