I had my first appointment with Dolce Blu in late October of 2018 and fell in love with this great salon right away. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, the salon is very clean and stylish, and the beds are quite comfy (perfect for an hour of relaxing!). Each guest is greeted immediately upon entering and made to feel at home. Very often it's John, who is such a delight, always positive and welcoming. Yoli has given new life to this redhead's nearly invisible lashes and brows. She has always thoughtfully answered my millions of questions, and believe me, I ask about EVERYTHING, while giving me a gorgeous look. And when our schedules can't align, Saima and Bree provide excellent lashes as well! Dolce Blu is my go-to for all of my lash fills, lash tinting, and brow tinting. One of the big draws for me is the fact that they really do care about their client's well being and comfort. I have very sensitive skin and noticed I was starting to have some eyelid redness and some discomfort after my fills. I discussed it with the staff and without hesitation they switched me to their sensitive adhesive products and I haven't had a single issue since. I have been going to Dolce Blu for over two years for lashes and recently did the micro blading for my brows and I have to say, they always deliver. I have the highest of expectations for service and the team has always met mine. Saima performed my micro blading and the results are phenomenal, even to the point that people stop me and compliment my brows (who would have know that was a thing!) regarding the shape, color and quality. Yoli does my lashes and I am always happy with the outcome, consistency and speed all while making sure I'm happy with the outcome. This place and their staff are AWESOME!!! I've had the pleasure of getting my lashes done by Paloma and Sima, both are knowledgeable and perfectionist. My lashes are really fine and short. Paloma helped find the right size lashes that wouldn't damage my own and make them look fuller. About a month later I started seeing Sima who suggested that I try RevitaLash to assist in making my lashes longer and thicker. I've been using the RevitaLash for about 3 weeks now and can't believe the difference it has made. I'm now able to go longer and thicker with the lash extensions and couldn't be happier. Lastly, I must mention Johnathan! He always has a fun story to tell but what I like the most is that he remembers each customer by name. He's very personable and makes each customer feel special. I went to Dolce Blu last week to get my lashes filled (from another lash place) and from the second I walked in till the second I left, was such a great experience! The receptionist at the front was so professional and sweet! He greeted me right away and made me feel so at home, like I had been there a hundred times before! I really really wanted to love Dolce Blu. The work they do is excellent, and the girls are great. IF you are on the membership and IF you can come on a set schedule. My first indication of trouble was being charged a $25 "mega fill" fee when I went 3 weeks between fills- mind you I'd been paying for unlimited fills on a monthly basis for quite some time at this point. Since September, I have been assured that amount would be refunded, which it never was. In October, after being put on the spot about a billing issue, in front of other customers I allowed the salon to charge my credit card for my monthly service fee even though 1)my account was then drafted 2 days later for the same, expected fee, 2)my $25 refund had still not been issued. I asked them to cancel my appointments, cancel my membership, and ask the owner to call me. Since that day, I have emailed or called 5 times to follow up on my refunds due, while the salon is STILL auto-drafting my account (yes, 3 months later) and only after posting a review (which was quickly deleted) on their facebook wall did the owner call me herself. She assured me that when she was feeling better she would issue my refunds for both the $25 and the monthly fees incurred since October. That was on the third of January. Still no refund has been issued. This doesn't even address the fees I incurred from my bank as a result of the $169 charge that I wasn't expecting to pay that ran on more than one occasion. I was never given (or signed) any terms and conditions, and was assured that I could cancel as long as I did it before a draft. So, short story long, the lash work is good, the membership ($150 a month, apparently there is a 3 month commitment) is only a good deal if you intend to go once a week- otherwise, it prices them as one of the most expensive places in town. And, if you do the membership, only do it on your credit card, at least then you can dispute the charges when they keep billing you, but because they do it ACH (and perhaps this is why the like to ACH) it is VERY hard to stop through your bank without closing your account (which honestly will be my next step if BBB and the attorney generals office can't help me.). read more

First off i must apologize in lapse of this review and my stellar service I recieved at Dolce Blu . Its a adorable,clean, and professional boutique that houses the absolute best results Austin has to offer- maybe because its all they really offer son they are experts in their field. I went in after signing up for the 2 fills a month package and boy was i just completely blessed to have been paired upn with Miriam - my absolute lash savior!!!! I had a terrible experience having tried the lash extensions at a nail salon ( btw- NEVER DO THAT!!!!- and results were my naturally full long lashes all but fell out completely . Instead of the mod/60s look i was going for I ended up looking like a lashless turtle..... eeeeks!!!! Miriam knew exactly what I was wanting as a result and went above and beyond giving me a specialized mix of size in lashes giving it the full look that truly doesnt need mascara,and i wear liqud eyeliner so usually lash extensions look great on those who are more au natural but i really didn tneed masxara but on my lower lashes. As a aspiring makeup artist this blew my mind. She gave me so many tips- as far as care, brands, and just seemed to care as much as i did how the results were. Its now time for another fill and it doesnt feel like the emergency I felt it would due to lash loss / daily wear and tear (and yes ive used mascara ) Im so lucky to have wandered into this adorable and top notch salon. And I hope Miriam sticks around as long as Im an Austin resident because I coulddnt imagine anyone giving me the Barbarella wide eyed vixen custom set she has designed for me!!!!! i recommend to any and everyone!!!! read more
