I had Friday the 13th/done here. One of them needed a touchups, so I went back to the shop to get that done. The shop advertises free touchups within one year. But because the artist who did the flash (and bear in mind, you are not in control of who does your tattoo on Friday the 13th) was from out of town and doesn't work at the shop, they said that I would have to pay the shop minimum of $100 for a touchup. Why would you have somebody tattooing in your shop if it's been impossible for them to touch up their work? The resident artists here may do good work, but that's bad business. read more

Firstly, they had the cutest puppy at the shop they could've taken all my money right then and there. But secondly, all the artists that day were female and badass. They were able to quickly take me in as a walk in and worked with me to figure out exactly what I wanted. My tattoo was so simple, my tattoo artist's lines were immaculate. First impressionLove this place! As a first time client with All Saints Tattoo (North location), I'm impressed! It's Friday the 13th and a considerable tradition to get a tattoo today. I found this shop via Instagram. They had a huge selection and variety of tattoos to choose from- something for ANYone. Everyone was super nice, fun, and professional from a call to the shop to showing up and getting tattooed. Fortunately, there wasn't a wait, but they are so cool here, a wait would be worth it. Definitely will return in the future. Update!: A little late on the update, but here it is nonetheless! My friends and I returned for the next Friday the 13th event (13MAR2020) and had another great visit! Great selection. Great prices. Great people. I did a walk in apt and it only took a few hours to get in. You put your name on a list and they text you when it's your turn. I am very particular and antsy when it comes to tattoos and Jenna was very patient with me. I also have needle phobia and ended up fainting after the second line was drawn. Jenna and the others in the studio were so helpful and gave me candy to get my blood sugar back up. My tattoo turned out just as I wanted and I was impressed with the line work and appreciate the level of detail Jenna put in to my piece. Great experience would highly recommend all saints and Jenna. This place sucks. Not only did we have to wait for our tattoo artist for nearly two hours because he was not there at the shop when we arrived but also spent a good time (and i mean a good portion of the time chatting with another shop person about the tattoos she wanted to get and trolling instagram.) We were given a super pricy quote of $400 which then went to $600 because it required SO much work. My tattoo is small with hardly any color. I've gotten bigger tattoos with 4 times the color for $250 but we went it because it was my birthday. 3 sizing attempts, 2 redraws and one stencil placed which was then taken off because the tattoo artist missed things we finally got started. An hour and half later and twice being told 'this was easy' I looked in the mirror and realized well, shit. We're AGAIN missing things. We had to tell the shop helper to let him know he missed things which he went on to say, I knew I saw some lines there. WTF! He went on to try to fix them but it's was crap and I had fully given up by then. Unfortunately my husband was already debating sizing and image of his tattoo to pull back. He was told multiple times how his simple, apprentice level tattoo couldn't be done. A heart and a ribbon, really? An imagine we found in THEIR books! My husband went on to also settle but thinking back we were both idiots for staying and not saying much. Like hey, you're still missing things and i never asked for color. $1000 later, we're both unhappy and this is a crap place with no customer service. Matter of fact, if you don't want to tattoo, don't fucking tattoo. Don't give people half ass tattoos which are permanent just because you want to take their money. read more

Point blank, don't go here. I'm sure the artists themselves are good at what they do, but my cousin and I had an awful experience. My cousin was visiting from New Jersey and was excited to get a tattoo. She got her sketch and everything, but when it came down to getting her ID checked, the female that helped her was so blatantly disrespectful we're still so surprised and livid. She accused my cousin of having a fake ID just because she didn't recognize how a New Jersey ID looks like for someone under 21 but 18. She told my cousin, "I've been in the industry for 6 years and I know a fake ID when I see one, this is bullsh*t" and threw the ID back at my cousin. Who the heck did she think she was? Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting. For being in the industry that long, she sure doesn't know how to treat customers. Her attitude was nasty and absolutely demeaning. My cousin defended herself in a mature way and even presented her passport. That's when the other two people that were there got involved and were slightly nicer than the female helping, but didn't say anything to apologize for the female's repulsive behavior towards my cousin. We ultimately ended up leaving because they made us feel so uncomfortable and disrespected. For starters, they need to do their research on what various IDs around the US look like. As for the female checking IDs, she really needs to pull out whatever is up her butt or they should let her go for her thoughtless and ill-mannered behavior. read more

I guess I'm an idiot for not asking for a tattoo estimate, but I went to Deidge with no idea that she charges $200/hour, which I only found out through a Yelp review I saw too late, featuring a screenshot of a mean DM she sent a customer. She charged me for 2 hours of labor on an hour and a half tattoo which would have cost $300-350 elsewhere. She's experienced, but she's also rude, and constantly stoned. I should have walked out when she told me she was high. Again, my bad. She told me she would do better than my reference image, but she literally just traced the drawing I sent her. I started mentioning details I didn't like and she essentially said it wasn't that important. I was apprehensive about the appointment and almost decided to walk out and say fuck my deposit. If I knew how much she would charge in the end, I would have, since it was a smaller percentage of the total cost than I thought. Maybe she thinks her reputation precedes her and she can charge way above average without any surprise to the client, but it doesn't. I went to my local shop, the same chain I got a $100/hr tattoo at, and got the first available artist. Her rates aren't advertised anywhere online. I asked for an estimate when I booked the appointment and she said "it doesn't work like that." I was excited about the work she did, and thirty seconds later I was being charged at least a hundred dollars more than I expected. It ruined the excited new tattoo feeling a bit, and I'm writing this to get some of the angry energy out and to make sure others know what they're getting into. And again, she is stoned. She does good work (maybe not as good as she thinks) but seriously? Would you entrust your body to someone who is high? I'm including the DM screenshot I saw on yelp. This wasn't sent to me, but it's deterred me from confronting her on charging for an extra half hour, maybe asking for a partial refund, because I know she'll be rude and refuse. It couldn't have turned out better and I get compliments on it frequently. He was really personable and patient when I needed to adjust the placement several times. I recently went here to get a simple tattoo of mountains on my forearm. I showed him the specific picture of what I wanted, and he seemed positive he could do it without any problem. Once he started drawing the outline, I began to worry, but he reassured me that it was just an outline he was going off of but it would look nothing like the tracing. Then he started with the tattoo gun. At first it seemed to be going well, but then he randomly started adding WAY too many lines and details. Keep in mine, this tattoo was small, so being overloaded with details caused it to look like a big jumble of nothing. A simple tattoo that was supposed to be mountains, turned out to be something that looks like tree roots, or even shattered glass. Seriously the worst tattoo job I've ever received. Not to mention, he did nothing but talk sh** about every other tattoo shop in Austin, and assured that the 5 stars he had on yelp was an understatement. Safe to say, I think he was lying. I would never refer anyone to this place. It's dirty and smells like a cigarette infested garage. Stay clear of this place and go to Pigment Demographics instead. THEY SAVED MY TATTOO!!!! read more
