I explained to Lari what I wanted and within 10 minutes she drew it up exactly as I had in my mind. I was excited and felt great I proceeded to get the tattoo that evening. Overall, I would definitely recommend this shop! The people were nice and the environment is very cool. I went closer to the end of the day on Friday the 13th which obviously meant a long day for them, but they were all still very kind and apologetic about the slight wait (which I didn't mind at all, again, with it being the 13th, I expected some delay). My tattoo looks so, so much better than I expected, and I really appreciated the artist taking the time to make sure my placement was perfect. My only slight critique/concern is I noticed after I took the bandage off that he did not do a very good job of shaving my arm. The tattoo has a considerable amount of hair still on the area, & I worry that may result in an infection or affect the saturation. But nothing has happened so far, so I don't really have too much to her hung up on ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Again, overall, I would absolutely go back again for a smaller piece and would recommend anyone else do the same!! read more

I'm not one to complain about anything but I feel like this could possibly help someone else avoid a situation like this. I got a tattoo recently w/ Adam here and didn't realize how crooked it came out until I took the clear bandage off this afternoon. I will attach a pic of the tattoo and the image I had shown the shop. When I initially contacted the shop it was through Yelp and had spoken to Kelly (who I had seen great reviews on and liked his work) and when I called they sort of just passed the phone around to Adam who I sent the deposit to. A couple of minutes later I found his Instagram and his work just wasn't the style of detail I was looking for so I asked Kelly if there was any chance I could maybe get the tattoo done by him or Sizer who I had also seen some great work from on here and their Instagram. He said no so I said alright and went ahead with getting the work done by Adam since I had already sent the deposit. I had asked for it pretty small but he kept insisting I got it bigger because "bigger was better" and "they stretch with age." I got the work done, we had a nice conversation and I left. I'm now realizing that many of the lines are shaky and really just badly done. I figured he might've been new to the shop and they wanted to build his rep but I paid good money to get this done nicely and ended up with something I don't like. read more
