You can also book something in the middle of the night when you wake up and think of it...yes, clearly I do that, and bam, you've got an appointment the next day. They also have a cute little section of gifts from lotions and potions to any other kind of little stocking stuffer or last minute birthday gift. The owner must have a passion for hats because they also have a cute section of fun hats. They've always been nice in there and I am just a huge fan of the ability to book online. Easy parking as well, which makes it another draw. If there is drama to park...I am not going! LOL

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience…read more I originally came to It's a Secret Med Spa (South Lamar) in February for Botox. Before anyone had thoroughly assessed my skin or understood my skin type, I was encouraged to sign up for their $300/month membership, which included Botox and a monthly treatment (chemical peel, facial, or skin tightening laser). Looking back, I believe the focus was on selling a membership rather than creating a treatment plan that was actually appropriate for my skin. After my chemical peel and facial, my skin had the worst reaction I've ever experienced. I trusted their recommendations and purchased over $300 worth of skincare products they suggested, but my skin only continued to worsen. What was most concerning was that, despite my skin barrier already being compromised, I was advised to continue receiving laser treatments and was told they would help improve my skin. Instead, my skin continued to worsen. Looking back, I felt there was a greater emphasis on continuing treatments and maintaining my membership than on reevaluating whether the treatment plan was right for me. This experience has been both physically and emotionally devastating. I was, and still am, embarrassed by how my skin looks. I eventually had to repeatedly ask for my membership to be canceled. The before-and-after photos speak for themselves. I deeply regret walking through their doors. See photos below of immediately after chemical peel where my skin had zero acne. The other photos are after receiving various treatments recommended by its a secret staff. Since then, I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to repair the damage. I'm now under the care of a dermatologist, taking prescription medication, and seeing a new aesthetician every two weeks just to get my skin back to a healthy baseline. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend It's a Secret Med Spa. I hope others carefully consider their options and make sure they feel confident that any recommended treatments are truly tailored to their skin before committing to a membership or treatment plan.

Everything happened so fast when they shaved off the growth, as well as a mole on my back they wanted to biopsy. Usually getting these procedures done freak me out but I didn't even have the time to freak out bc of how fast and efficiently it was done, lol. I also even briefly inquired about filler injection estimates and he was able to give me an estimate window right on the spot. Amanda was super helpful! Really good because scheduling or rescheduling an appointment with my then provider, a large hospital clinic network, was a months long wait. My check-in at the North Austin location off of Mo-Pac near Parmer was effortless and very pleasant and my clinical visit with Lorin the Medical Assistant and Stephanie PA-C for the skin check was through and very informative. I was beyond pleased that PA Stephanie was able to examine and treat a spot on my ear that she had concerns with and also perform a procedure on a couple more that required them to be excised off. The visit was really positive and I accomplished so much in 90 minutes from the time I walked in along with directions on using appropriate sunscreen! Sanova Dermatology offers lots of services , so I expect that I'll be back more often than annually for routine maintenance and care at a really reasonable and fair cost.

Erica is amazing! I came to find her through a Groupon for Eyelash Extensions and have been hooked on her (and the lashes!) ever since. She deserves each one of these 5 stars and then some! She is both extremely personable & professional at the same time. In (great) detail, Erica is considerate, takes her time, asks you questions about your comfort level, describes what she is doing/using, and ensures that you are completely satisfied with your lash coverage. She'll converse with you if you wish, or let you lay in silence while you enjoy her handy work. And most importantly- she NEVER tries to upsell you! I have some huge monster facial pores & had only been going to her for eyelash extensions and not once did she try to pressure me to get a facial from her. I'm sure it was killing her on the inside not to mention anything to me, as skin is her specialty. Since she showed such restraint, I did get a facial from her recently to prepare for a wedding, and it was fantastic and SO relaxing. As mentioned by previous reviewers, her prices are very reasonable and her work is worth every penny. I highly recommend Erica to anyone! Erica really is an eyebrow guru. After a year of giving my eyebrows more attention through makeup I somehow stumbled upon eyebrow extensions and ethree. Erica and her office are wonderful. I am gifted to already have a decent foundation of eyebrows so I opted for 25% extension work. After showing my friends they honestly attributed the results to some sort of black magic my eyebrow 'game' was so bewitching. Maintenance depends on your lifestyle. I am fairly athletic (running, yoga, and lots of sweating) so I'd say my extensions lasted 1.5 weeks and tinting 2 weeks. My experience was a hollywood luxury....glamorous and gorgeous. Although I probably couldn't justify the upkeep (not something you fill in like lashes but start over each time) I will definitely be going back for special events, weekend getaways, or treating myself! read more

I received services from Erica at Avenue Five Institute. She is amazing! I went to her for weekly facials, some waxing, and chemical peels. Erica helped me learn how to keep my skin looking fresh and healthy always. I did not realize how important it is to keep your skin looking good until I started seeing Erica. She genuinely cares about her clients and wants to help them improve their complexion. Erica finds a way to be extremely personable and outgoing while maintaining professionalism. If you just want a relaxing facial or if you need a more intense care, E3Esthetics is the place to go! I suffer from mild rosacea and over time, the blotchiness is more than I care for. I have had the treatment (high frequency for vascular blemish removal) several times and have been extremely pleased with the results.
