I called about 20minutes before stopping in and they were able to squeeze me in which I was thankful for! The service was quick and the waxing was painless. I am presently surprised at how wonderful my brows look. I am hoping the tint lasts at least a week. Before getting my brows done I wanted to see if I could get the classic eyelash extensions, however they didn't have any appointments which was a bummer. I honestly had a terrible experience with this tattoo shop. I originally went in to do a walk-in…read moretattoo and they told me that I would have to schedule it so I met with the tattoo person Avery and showed him the references and planned a day and paid the deposit for the tattoo ($100) He then texted me a few days later and asked to reschedule to a different week and I said yes when that week got here I had scars in the place where I wanted to tattoo so I asked to reschedule. So our final reschedule comes up and he text me literally five minutes (my appointment was at 12. He texted me at 11:55.) before the appointment to say he is not in town and someone else will be doing the tattoo. Highly unprofessional, considering I asked him to pick the date and he gave me this as a date that worked the best for him. I was open to doing it any day he was free. I let this go and texted Marco the person he said would be doing the tattoo that I was running a bit late and I was on my way. Marco said OK never asked questions or said anything. So I arrive at the shop and now Marco has no idea who I am, what I'm talking about or what tattoo I'm trying to get. Marco could have expressed this in text message so we would have been on the same page and I could not have wasted my time and my gas going out there. He did not have a reference photo or anything. He was not even aware that I had paid the deposit or that Avery had already quoted out a price for the tattoo. This was a highly unprofessional handoff from Avery. At this point, I was so beyond frustrated. I just told Marco and the other two tattoo people that were in the shop. Never mind I did not want the tattoo. Marco then decides to follow me out of the tattoo shop screaming at me to come back. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had in a tattoo shop. I informed Marco in text message of everything Avery said, and he then stated he vaguely remembered him telling him something about it last night. When I asked for the refund for the deposit, Avery didn't even try to work with me on a different day or do anything. He said that the deposit was nonrefundable. For a tattoo he did not draw, start on or do anything for. I will never go back here. Avery Is unprofessional rude and just not someone I would ever recommend anyone to work with. Nor would I recommend Marco or this tattoo shop to anyone. If they did not want to work with a black woman, then they could have said that at any point, this was a terrible experience.

From the moment we met, I could tell that Kelly truly cares about her clients and is committed to giving honest, professional advice. She could have easily booked my installation appointment as soon as I said I was interested, but instead, she encouraged me to go home and think about it because she wanted me to understand that it's a commitment. After giving it some thought, my answer was still a definite yes! The installation appointment was such a fun experience. Kelly made the process look effortless, but I know it takes incredible skill and precision to meticulously hand-tie every single knot. As she worked, I was amazed that I couldn't feel any weight on my hair at all. She mentioned that I might notice it the next day. As she moved toward the sides of my hair, I thought for sure I'd feel some tension since my hair is very thin on my crown and sides, but even then, everything felt light and comfortable. Another thing that really impressed me is that Kelly ethically sources her hair. The quality is incredible, and because of that, the extensions blend seamlessly with my natural hair. I know I have extensions in, but I can't even tell they're there when I look in the mirror. It truly looks and feels like my own hair. I also have to mention how beautiful and clean Kelly's studio is. The space is so welcoming and professional, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. I'm writing this review 3 days after my appointment, and I am honestly shocked by how comfortable these extensions are. I slept comfortably all night and still don't feel any weight or tension in my hair. Kelly's application method is truly incredible, and I've already booked my move-up appointment.
