However after having a baby and newly postpartum I needed to find a place I could trust to help groom her. Teddy came back all freshened up and groomed with no issues. Alert update! OMG they said he's a puppy. Told my hubby not to bring him here but he said they're inexpensive and we will give them a second chance. Look what happened for $80. Said he was hard to groom. Are you guys human??? I really need to report this place. First time around no one had the decency to respond to our concern and today July 10th this happens. Too many reviews I read were already telling me this place ain't professional and caring. They were rushing and our Teddy had watery eyes probably from the way they handled and treated him. I'm not sure what's going on with this place but I refuse to tale my dog here anymore. It used to be fine about 1-2 years ago when we bring him in and we would get a call that he's finished within 2-2.5 hrs at most. Recently they told us that we had to come in earlier because he's a large breed dog and they only have limited kennels for large dogs. Tell me why the last few times I drop my dog off at 9 am I don't hear back from them the entire day and I have to call 20 times until they pick up 30 mins before they close to tell me they "just finished". My dog doesn't even get cuts, only bath and blowout. It doesn't take 6 hours to do that and if you're going to leave him in the kennel the whole day don't tell us to drop him off early. I'm not even going to go in about how they only pick up 1/20 times I call them but this place has gotten so unreliable and shady. read more

We have come here multiple times and they do a good job on our 3 dogs. What finally prompted me to write a review was when two of our dogs got skunked real bad (only our boy dogs, go figure). Doggie Stylezz was able to take them in the same day that we called and they gave them the deskunking treatment. One of our dogs was so stinky that they gave him the treatment 3 times. We really appreciated their tenacity, even though he still smelled when we picked him up. (And even now, lol.) That's not the groomers' fault - that is our dog's fault for getting up and personal in a skunk's grill. The facilities seem clean enough but aren't the most pristine. My husband thought he would get her trimmed since we missed our regular appt at our regular groomer. Doggie Stylezz is our back up groomer. Uneven throughout, belly was not trimmed, snout was shaved (just the middle) nearly down to the skin. her fur on each paw is a different length, ears are uneven almost looks like a reverse mohawk on the top of her head. I have been bringing my dog here for all his life (12 years). My dog has major trust issues and won't even let anyone in my family carry him except me and the groomers. The fact that he trusts the groomers more than my family members says a lot about how the staff handles our pets. My dog gets so excited to come here. The receptionist, Rhonda, so straightforward and caring with all the pets she handles. If your dog has any special notes, it's best to tell them each time. I have a mini schnauzer and for a typical short schnauzer cut, I pay $100 with tip which is reasonable based off the special needs for his beard. Rosemary does an amazing job grooming my dog. I've never seen my dog be so well behaved while someone is touching him. Literally shocks me every time. All the other dogs with other groomers are all also well behaved, which tells me the animals trust them enough to be handled with care. My doggie needed a hair cut and her regular groomer was booked and decided to take here to doggie stylezz since her last visit went well and they were very kind to her. So I've been going to Doggie Stylezz for a few years now and the quality has absolutely went downhill around the time that new management has taken over. When I started going in 2018, I loved the place! They were great with my dog (I only had one at the time) and he always seemed happy to go. Whenever he was done, they would put on a cute bandana and I was quite happy that I found such a great groomers. However, those days are pretty much over. Sometimes we would get the dogs back and there would be some areas that they didn't shave all the way. Our maltipoo would come back with unshaven parts of his face that we would snip at home. Or there would be fur on parts of their feet still or untrimmed nails. Sometimes, one dog would be done a couple of hours ahead of the other one. The times that the grooming sessions seemed to be longer and longer. In the beginning, it would take around 2-3 hours for grooming for the dogs, but it started to turn into 4-5 hour affairs (of course I understand that they are busier). They stopped giving our dogs bandanas to wear altogether this year as well. In addition to the dip in quality, we've encountered some issues with the billing. I got another dog and he's the same size as the other dog, but a different breed (cockapoo versus maltipoo). Usually the breed size is larger and due to this, they usually charge us $10 extra for his grooming. However, ours stayed the same size as the maltipoo and the receptionist that we usually talk to would note this and change it back to be the same price since she also agreed that the dogs were the same size. She said that she would put a note into their chart to make sure that we would get charged the same price for both dogs. So from then on, whenever the charge appeared, they usually reverted it back to the same price whenever we went to pay. No biggie. However, the last time we tried to get our dogs groomed, the extra $10 came back but the receptionist that answered would not honor our longstanding agreement despite acknowledging that it was there when she checked the history. She basically said that they should have been charging us more for our maltipoo as well as the cockapoo (both 17 lbs). She also stated that the "small" designation was for the teacup breeds. We were never informed about what category our dogs were in so of course this came out of nowhere since we always were under the impression that they were small (from all the other times we've gone there). We've been going to this place for years without issues so it caught us by surprise that the receptionist was so adamant to not change the price. Well, that wouldn't have been the straw that broke the camel's back, if when my husband went to pick up the dogs, he could hear the groomers in the background yelling "shut the f*** up" at the dogs. My friends that also go to the groomers have told me that there was a groomer who handled their Maltipoo roughly and they would purposefully schedule with another groomer to avoid him handling their dog. So it was just a good time to no longer go there. We've never had issues with the quality until recently and with the price increase, it was just a no brainer to find another groomer. I'm pretty disheartened about it since I really loved the place when we started. read more

The appointment took an excessive and unreasonable amount of time (6 hours). Worst of all was the lack of attention to detail as well as the nicks and scabbing they left behind. I was asked what length I wanted my pup shaved down to and I indicated that I preferred to keep his hair fuller so to only take off about half. Well, they took everything off AND left patches of unevenness. Once home, I noticed my pup kept shaking his head and rubbing on his ears. I took a look and to my shock, there were little spots of scabs in both ears. They had nicked him while trimming his ear hairs and left small abrasion that have now scabbed and cause my pup a lot of pain and irritation. I sent two of my puppies, a maltipoo and a shitzu. We told them to do a second to small cut and when we picked up our pets, they were completely shaved off and the haircut was really choppy. Also, my shitzu since then has been so angry that he's been running away from even being leashed. Not sure how they treated my pets but it seems like my pets are so angry! I waited for 3 days post the haircut to post this review since I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt but my pets are still itching from their haircut coz the hair is cut sooo short and they have redness patches on their skin.
