I said this but I will say it again - Doggie has the BEST CHICKEN Nuggets I've ever had!! (My Togo are 20 chicken nuggets with honey mustard + a large steak fries with seasoning on the side) ALWAYS hot, fresh and yummicious fast service and friendly staff - that's what keeps me coming back for more!

I loveeee doggie diner their fries are my fav, I get them all the time, can't wait to go back in a few days! Great employees with great attitude

I'm not in here often, but when Iam service is always good and well, so is the food! Around lunch time, it's best to call your order in and pick it up. The few times, I've been I got the hot wings, but the last time I got them they were ok. Maybe I'll venture off and order something else next time...perhaps my taste buds didn't want them on that particular day. Dah well! The location is always clean and they serve Pepsi products!!!! One of my favs!

Cozy atmosphere at Doggie Diner!

One thing is for certain, you won't go hungry anywhere near the corner of Boughton and Weber. I was along with wife doing errands last Saturday morning, we decided we wanted to stop somewhere and get breakfast. As I'm always in the mood to go somewhere new, I consulted Yelp here And saw a listing I had never seen before. Charlie's at Clow Airport in Bolingbrook, IL. Whaaaaaaaaa? Four and a half stars even? I thought Clow Airport was a strip of manicured grass and a few little buildings. Boy was I wrong! It's not O'Hare, but it's a bustling, busy place, And sure enough, there was a sign for Charlie's Restaurant. I have a harmless little compulsion to look for small country homemade breakfast joints when I'm out of town. It's not as easy as it sounds, but when you find a winner, it's really something to write home about. (And write Yelps about). Find my Yelp about "Lu-Bob's" in Greenville, Illinois, If you want to see what I mean. For my wife and I, Bolingbrook is not really out of town. However, arriving at the end of the little road that leads to Clow Airport, I would have sworn I was in Timbuktu. Stepping into Charlie's, it had precisely the vibe I look for in those out‑of‑the‑way places. (If one of those out of the way places was annexed to an airport-lol). Not stuffy or toffee nosed, A bunch of airport themed knickknacks, with old‑fashioned tables and chairs. Lovely! It was also filled with families. The staff was warm and welcoming. It's a long room with picture windows on one side facing the runway, and a row of private planes. Some great circuses to go along with the bread. Really good coffee and a fine throw on the diet coke started things off. Wife ordered bacon and eggs with raisin toast. I swung with country fried steak and eggs. Not my normal breakfast order, but I figured what the hell. Well... Wife asked for well-done bacon and extra onions and peppers in her hash brown potatoes. She also asked that the potatoes would be cooked well done. The plate arrived exactly as she asked. The eggs were hot and looked like they were just cooked with butter in a pan. I had asked for onions and jalapenos in my scrambled eggs, and they came precisely as I asked. The country fried steak was a generous portion with some good looking gravy on top. I lit into the steak, and it was delicious. You could tell the frying oil was was fresh, it had a great crunch factor. The gravy on top was pure flavor. The eggs tasted homemade, and they didn't skimp on the onions or jalapeños. I'm normally not the biggest fan of hash browns, because they're usually limpid and tasteless. These had just the right touch of crispness, and they were really yum. All the while, a helicopter was practicing "touch and go's" out on the runway, and a steady stream of small private planes were taking off and landing. I always like a bit of cabaret with my meal. Service was very cordial and efficient, the prices were right, too. I should also mention a look through the menu found some very interesting things. Like, a one pound burger. The waitress never said anything about specials, but there was a chalkboard on the wall that had a bunch of them. I didn't have any regerts about my order, but next time we come here, I'm going to consult that board right away. In any case, this is one of the very best breakfasts I've had in a restaurant in a very long time. This is a resounding "5". How is it that we missed this place for so long?

There was no one else, but the server was taking her sweet time acknowledging me. I saw people complain about slow service and they are correct. I told her I only needed a few mins to look at the menu. She was talking to a regular customer so it took her awhile to come back and take my order. It was kind of a rollercoaster. She was very slow to seat me and take my order, then she improved after I got my food, and then she forgot about my to go container. She brought my bill to sign but didn't bother to give me a container. I ordered the chicken & biscuits. Generous portion and very filling. I really liked the sausage gravy with bacon bits. The southern fried chicken was easy to cut and cooked perfectly. The eggs and fruit were fine. Hashbrowns were mid. I guess it wasn't a total loss that I didn't take my hashbrowns home. Prices were fair. Would I go back? I would only get food to go but the dine in service was horrible. I mean it was only a Tuesday morning not on the weekend. I would have given them a 5 but due to the awful service, it brings it down to a 3.5.

That's honestly the only downside to this most obvious popular establishment. Seriously, the service is spectacular; however, there is no easy way to converse with your family or friends. This is our second trip to this location, and they do accommodate larger parties- and that's a huge plus. We had a 9:30am reservation and were seated as soon as all members of our family were accounted for: 9:35ish. What's especially nice is not having to reach for anything other than one's shared food, because the bigger tables are provided extra condiments and crafts of both water and coffee. So... if you're there to eat, this is your place. But... if you are there for conversation, choose somewhere less spacious and crowded. Now... let's not ignore the food, right? I'm not a fan of anything sticky, but the rest of our party enjoyed the shared monkey bread appetizer. (It takes some time, so be certain to order it immediately when seated.) As for our entrees, nothing came out cold, no order was incorrect, and no one left unsatisfied. for service, food, and ambiance! for too noisy to enjoy a quality conversation.
