The number one reason I go to dogberry is that this is a very chill and relaxing brewery. Very easy to find a cozy seat and have a quiet conversation with a friend or do some reading. The lager and ales are a throwback style to the bygone days of clean and crisp flavors. Also, I have yet to have waited more than a minute to get a beer. My wife and I like to go here on hot days for all the reasons above. There's just not a good place to get their particularly refreshing style of beer within a 10 mile radius (you'll *know* this the second you take a sip of their blonde or lager when it's above 80 and sunny.) They also make great dark beers and the outdoor patio is comfy for spring and autumn. As far as room for improvement - I'd like to see a maltier beer on tap like a marzen. Most beers are relatively bitter, so people that like a more "drinkable" beer are left to seltzer or wine cocktails. I'd love to see a Helles on tap. Their business appears to be suffering for three reasons : lack of consistent food trucks/easy outside ordering (hot chicks like my wife dig good food at breweries), ineffective advertising (if they went on Ohio on tap they'd be swamped overnight and the chill atmosphere would change), and they have some bad reviews from many years ago when they first opened with a lot of kinks. Been here a few times, and even though it's a small brewery they have everything you need. Great staff, board games, tvs, skii-ball and pop shot, video games, cornhole, and sometimes there's a food truck. My one suggestion is to add blinds to the windows that are facing west, the sun is very hot on our faces at sunset. Would return. read more

Really loved this brewery! I've never heard of it until my boyfriend mentioned it. He really wanted to check it out. I'm glad we did! You walk in and it's very laid back. I was in awe with their old beer collection and display of growlers plastered everywhere. The picnic tables brings it a home and comfortable feel. I was also impressed with the beer selections that we had to try all of them! So my boyfriend and I did two flights. We tried: -Supernova w/ coffee on nitro double chocolate stout -Sir griff IPA -Husky robust porter -On the aisle kolsch -Citra single hop ale -Turnin two IPA -On the black black IPA -Bray's brown brown ale My favorite is the Supernova and On the black IPA. They were all good, but those two stood out and had great after taste. They also have growlers to go! Service was great, pricing is reasonable and awesome quality beer. What's not to love? Small but mighty! Dogberry brewing is a small brewery located in an industrial zone in mason. It's a bit of a hike to get to but once you find it be prepared to be amazed with quality and tastiness of the beer! Dogberry has a rotating menu of beers with the seasons. I really enjoy stouts and ales which is perfect for the winter season. My friend loves sours unfortunately they had none on tap when we visited but I'm sure they will get more into the rotation! The setup in the bar is nice and there are tons of locals that frequent the brewery. Dogberry has a mug club that seems to be quite generous and it's showing as they have a loyal following. Overall keep up the good work and check Dogberry out! I imagine they aren't going anywhere soon! read more

Dogberry is your standard micro brewery in an industrial park outside of town. Comfortable taproom with a couple arcade games, cornhole, a small porch. The beer is good, but it doesn't have a particularly large selection or unusual styles to set it apart. Nothing won't with it, but nothing particularly memorable. read more

Having never tried DogBerry's brews before, we opted for flights. With 20 creations on tap, we didn't even try half. We tried Nat's Nightcap Nitro, a Rye Pale Ale, Campfire Story, Pinkeye, Supernova, and Hooke'ed Leg Nitro. I found most of the beers to be bitter. That isn't really my thing. The Pinkeye was the exception. It was smooth and a a little sweet. There is also free water near the bathrooms. DogBerry has a casual atmosphere. Picnic tables cement that feeling. The games, TV's, and corrugated metal, give the place a bit of a "man cave" feeling. Two friends created a neighborhood place for friends and families to congergate. Children are welcome. There are activities to keep them entertained; including ski ball, board and video games. DogBerry is a taproom/ brewery, not a restaurant. While they do not make food, you are welcome to bring your own. They are located in an industrial park. From the time we exited the freeway until we got there the only place to eat was the Subway located in Microcenter. read more

First off, this place has outdoor benches in the front of the brewery. It's definitely got a very relaxed vibe as the employees are also very relaxed, but very helpful and kind way. The two employees gave me tons of suggestions of restaurants to try in the area and let me try some of the beers since I hadn't been here previously. All-in-all, cool place and plenty of space. I only hope that they get a bit more business soon as it was quite dead for 5:30pm for Thursday. Don't forget to support local breweries all! read more

This place is back in an office park in an older building. No outside seating, so we were stuck inside on a nice day. The beers were so-so, some winners, some losers. They do not have food, but did have a food truck the day we were there. The service was friendly, I doubt we'd go out of our way to visit again, but if we're nearby we may try it again. read more

Dogberry is a pretty solid place to hang out and grab some beers with family and friends. The brewery has a cool backstory that you can read on some of the article they've hung on the walls. The variety of beer is constantly increasing, which I think is great. I haven't loved every beer I've tried (I think the shandy might need a little reworking) - but in general the beers are good! I absolutely love the atmosphere. The bar itself is pretty sharp looking, and the rest is very casual and laid back. I'm PUMPED that they have darts - this always is a huge bonus factor for me. They also have skee ball and pop-a-shot. I have had a great time each visit. If you're in a West Chester, check this place out! read more

Dogberry, is a great brewery to support if you are local to the area. I first went to Dogberry after finding out that it was a local brewery in the area and was neat date night. We really enjoyed our visit and ended up hanging out here for a longer time than anticipated. The location is near Union Center and the new entertainment development such as Main Event and Topgolf however its snug between some industrial warehouses, so look close or you may drive past it. Though the names of some of the beers are odd, I do recommend trying a flight or half pours during your first visit to be able to try from the vast selection of beers. I do recommend trying the Pinkeye beer if it is in season. Outside food & delivery is encouraged given there is no onsite restaurant. This is an easy place to become a regular. This is because of the casual and social staff, regular events hosted here and participating in programs such as the Mug Club where you get a custom pint container to keep onsite to use during your visit. In my experience, the bar staff has been easy to strike a conversation with. If this place is on your radar but you haven't made it out yet. Just keep an eye out for some of the recurring events such as Saturday Yoga, Bike night, brew tours and the newly added Beer+Running club partnered with Jack-Rabbit Glendale. Oh, and Food Trucks! My preference of beer here are the dark porters as many other remind me of IPAs which are not my favorite. I do typically like to keep current in trying the new brews but fondness for the taps here change with the season. Give them a try! read more

If you are a fan of beer, real beer, you will love this place. it's located in an industrial complex but it's easy to get to and they have it set up nicely. They have a large bar, picnic tables and plenty of other seating options. The brew house is open so you can see the entire operation. I got the opportunity to try 5 different beers last night. I had their stout on Nitro. It had great flavor and Nitro in my opinion takes any beer to the next level. My favorite was the porter. What a BEAST of a beer. Great recipe and you can tell the guy knows how to brew. The head and mouthfeel were perfect. I tried smaller samples of the pilsner, Czech lager, and their experimental rye. All solid beers. The owner was working the bar. He is also the brewer. Very nice guy. He allowed me to check out the brew system and discussed theri recipes with me. I will definitely make stops here often when in the area. You should too. read more

We went to trivia last night and it was a good time though, the space is very open and inviting. With this heat wave they could definitely stand to turn up the a/c in their big warehouse setup though! Plus in Thursday's they don't do food trucks, which doesn't make sense since it's trivia night. I guess they only bring them in on the weekend but it would make sense to be another factor to draw people in on Thursday! I was really excited to check out DogBerry's new location. Their original location was quite far from where I live and was quite small. The new location is closer and much larger. Once inside, the space is open, clean and inviting. It was a Saturday afternoon when I stopped in and there was a steady stream of people coming and going. Not overly busy but a decent crowd. The bar is right in front of you when you enter. There are picnic tables, couches, skee ball and air hockey to the right.It is a very family friendly setting which I appreciated since I had my kids with me that day. My wife and I sat at the bar while the kids played skee ball. Our order was taken right away. The staff was very friendly but not overly outgoing or chatty. I think their beer is continually improving which is a great sign. I hope to see them offer more dark beers in the future as well. The only downside is they are not on a main road so you'll never just drive by and pop in for a beer or two. But I would definitely seek them out again in the future. read more

I think it's great that some stay at home dads came together to open this place. For one thing, it's definitely a kid-freindly place-- there are coloring books, foosball, so if you want to grab a drink (responsibly of course) and bring your toddler along, this is the place to go. The beer itself is pretty good- they have seasonal varieties as well as the regulars. There's complimentary bottled water as well. DogBerry is a little brewery with big flavors. The place itself is tiny, but they can fit a decent amount of people in there. There are a few picnic tables, a few high tops, and the bar. I stopped in on a Friday right after work to try their beers for the first time. The guys working were helpful, answering my questions about what a few of the beers were. I ended up getting a flight so I could try 4 different ones. I got 3 IPAs and the double chocolate stout. I had The Big DIPA (Double IPA), Rye IPA, and WildFire IPA(has coriander and black pepper). All were delicious, with my favorites being the double chocolate stout and the DIPA. They fill growlers so I plan on being back so I can bring some home. I'm glad I finally got to check this place out, its definitely one of the better 'nano' breweries in town. read more

I live right around the corner from here. It's a great little place with nice owners. They have somewhat weird hours (I think it's usually 4-9 Thurs-Sunday or something? - check their Facebook Page), but that is kind of what makes it a microbrewery instead of a full on brewery. The beer itself it pretty good and they do have a good variety of different beers that they make (IPA, blonde, etc.). The decor is cute and shows these guys love beer and Cincinnati. It's super casual. They sometimes have food trucks there which have been good. They have a major parking problem (the parking area is tiny and the neighbors get mad if you park in their lot). I know it's something they are working on figuring out though. It might not be worth a long drive, but anyone in the northern Cincinnati area should stop in for a drink and support these guys! read more

I "checked out" this spot the Wendesday before Thanksgiving and convieniently enough Packhouse Meats Food Truck was on site. I had a good time meeting up with my family, but there were definitely some sore spots I had that will most likely be fixed with the opening of their new, larger facility. Beer: Out of the ten taps that night, half were IPAs, 3 were Porters, one was a spicy pilsner and one was a mulled wine. I found a beer that was fine to drink, but it certainly was not my favorite craft beer I've ever had. They said they have a Christmas beer coming so I'll have to check that out. I tried the spicy beer and it was HORRIBLE and a porter, which also was fine. I just dislike IPAs and was disappointed to see the limited selection. Parking: Parking is very tight and limited. I parked across the street and dashed across Cin-Day, which was fine, but also frightening. The new location will be great. Ambiance: Definitely a local, neighborhood brewery and I liked that vibe. Hopefully they manage to maintain this in the new space. As someone that visited it with past tenants, the fact that it's a brewery now makes me smile. As a side note, my brother devoured two Packhouse sandwiches and said they were mighty tasty, so that's another plus. Keep up with the food trucks! read more

I really wanted to like this brewery. Went to their old location a few times. Beers were underwhelming. This is my third time at their new location and things have gotten worse. One of the owners always appears drunk trying to wow people with his biochemistry degree(people are not impressed and I'm tired of hearing about it). Today was no different. I thought I saw a glimmer of hope when the biochemist's brother came out to check a tap. He appeared sober and was walking straight. Tasted the brew, dumped the extra down the drain, and proceeded to use two of the three sinks to clean his glass. I asked the staff if the tray of glasses was clean and ready. They answered yes. When I told them what I saw, they immediately cleaned the whole rack ( good job for the staff). For me, sorry guys, I'm done. read more

Lyons BBQ Catering also didn't know what they were doing, don't understand why it takes 10 minutes to serve 2 people when there were 3 of them working. Not worth coming back. read more

I could barely even hear myself think because there were so many children around. When I go to a brewery, I want to discuss the beers with the staff and try them and relax and hang out... not listen to the children screaming. I had never been here before or tried the beers and I told them I did not like IPA's but I was given some of them anyway. Like good beer? Go here! This place is a hidden gem. It is one of those two man show type breweries that you don't find in the Cincinnati Area.
