We've had our dog here on at least three occasions while on vacation. He has gotten kennel cough every time even though he's vaccinated. The second time we opted to have him shampooed before we picked him up since it was a new service they were offering at the time. He was not clean but had a strong doggy deodorant sprayed on him. We decided we wouldn't pay for that again. Also, from this visit, a trip to the vet was necessary as he was not getting better from the Kennel Cough and had to be on antibiotics. This last time was enough for me to bring me to the point of this review. We went to the counter to pick up our dog. After trying to upsell us on a higher price package for our next booked stay, the man behind the desk told us that "he (our dog) has gotten himself into some mud" and that he needed to hose him off so he may be a little wet. Ok, fine. We thought this was strange because he was in an indoor kennel, and if taken out to go to the bathroom, he should have been accompanied. But we anxiously waited to see our pup. He came out and seemed ok but was ready to get out of there. We were not prepared for the odor that emanated from him when we got into the car. It smelled like he had rolled in dog poop and urine for the several days he was there. We rolled down the windows and it was so bad my stomach turned. It took us three baths to get that smell off!! So my question here is, was he taken out to use the bathroom or left to do his business in the crate?! We paid for four potty breaks. Then later that afternoon, he pooped and there was blood in his stool! Ok maybe from stress, so we didn't worry too much. Then later that night from 2:30 - 9:30 AM, our poor pup vomited more times than I can count! He was so dehydrated that he was shaking with every inhale he took. Needless to say, we canceled the upcoming dates we had booked in advance with Besa. I'm sick to my stomach that we paid $300 to have our dog not well taken care of and come home sick. And there you have it...An honest review. If anything, I hope that the owners read this and take heed of what these pup parents have to deal with when they come home and begin to clean up their act.

We love Best Friends Fur Ever because of it being easy to make an appointment. Once you have gone through the initial enrolling process and gotten into their system, you fill in a request for service online and they contact you within 24 hours (usually it is closer to 12 hours). During stays, Best Friends Fur Ever have great communication. Sometimes they will upload pictures. They will reach out with any issues they have and respond quickly if you have any questions. The employees here clearly love dogs. No matter who the employee is, when we go to drop our dog off they get really excited to see our dog. He, in turn, gets excited to see them. We love that Best Friends Fur Ever will take care of grooming needs while we are away. If possible, they will trim nails, bathe them and express their anal glands. Finally, the biggest reason we choose Best Friends Fur Ever, is our dog always seems well taken care of when we return to get him. If he is happy, we are happy.

I was a bit sad that she didn't look back, but she was running toward people who genuinely care about her and take care of her. They're very professional and knowledgeable about dogs. You will always feel comfortable leaving your dog with them. When Chichi had a minor health concern, they called me very quickly and let me know what was going on. I was able to take her to the vet that day. They even followed up and called me to make sure she was doing okay. I go to pick up Hudson yesterday and Sydney (new groomer)says to me, the man(Tim) who dropped Hudson off is banned from coming in here. I was so shocked I said... why. She said he always comes in swearing at everyone and raising his voice. What in the world??? This is the first time Tim dropped them off. Mom or I always take them. Mom had eye surgery so Tim took him. He called the store to find out what was going on. He said Sydney was getting all smart mouthed with him and wouldn't let him talk. He hung up on her. A case of mistaken identity obviously. Never ever has a company treated us like this. We spend over $500 a month there getting our pets groomed once a month, dog food, treats etc.
