We have been serving DC residents and their fur children since 2007. A mother/daughter duo, our goal is to safeguard the two most important things in your life, your pets and your home. You tell us what you prefer. We tailor our services to meet your needs.
Our experience covers animals who need special care, like taking daily medication, recovering from ailments, or needing time to adjust to new living environments after being adopted from animal rescues.
Dog Dot Cat is a member of Pet Sitters International, the world's leading educational organizational for professional pet sitters since 1994. We are licensed, bonded and insured through this organization.
We serve all of Capitol Hill, Navy Yard, Hill East, Kingman Park, H-Street Corridor, Atlas District, NOMA and Trinidad.
History
Established in 2007.
Dog Dot Cat has been serving DC residents and their fur children since 2007. Founded as a mother/daughter team, Magic and Diana own and manage the dog walking and pet sitting company Dog Dot Cat. We came up with the company name to represent Washington DC as the District of Columbia's nickname known as "D dot C"
We are Licensed in the District of Columbia, and Insured and Bonded through Pet Sitters International.

Meet the Business Owner: Magic P.
Magic is a native Washingtonian, who over the years has shared her heart with a plethora of animals starting with Misty and Tiffany, her two Chihuahuas she adored throughout childhood. She shared her room with hamster, Squeaker, who had a rig of multi-colored tunnels that went to the ceiling; two rats, and five aquariums of mice since Georgette turned out to be George! Beginning in 1988 and for ten years thereafter, Magic attended St. Peter's School on Capitol Hill. Little did she know, Dog Dot Cat would find its start on those same childhood stomping grounds. She has fond memories of growing up on Capitol Hill and is very happy to be creating fun memories with the many unique dogs and cats whom she now lovingly cares for, in addition to several cats and dogs she has rescued along the way. Magic earned a B.S. degree in speech language pathology from UDC, but is happiest working with the animals at Dog Dot Cat. | Dog Walking | Capitol Hill | Cat Sitting | Pet Sitter |
