Even after I ordered and was sitting there waiting, a few different people asked me if I was taken care of. I'd go back just for the hospitality. The wings were out of this world delicious! They were cooked perfectly and were cooked whole like the old days. I ordered 5 wings with a drink and fries (I chose sour cream and onion) and everything was delicious. I had a side of Memphis Hot for dipping and it paired will with the cajun dry rub (which had a nice kick to it as well). I mean look at those things! Seriously, look! They were starting to clean up a bit as it was close to closing time, but assured me I didn't have to rush. Great wings, Great Service and Great locations (in proximity to my hotel, anyway).

We be crazy not to visit the Coop! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point--clean,…read morecolorful, and full of life. Shoutout to the security guard at the door who was more than just friendly--he was the hype man! He told us the food and drinks were on point, and he was not lying. Honestly, he deserves part of the tip because everything he said was facts. Drinks: Let me tell you--Amy and Yasmin behind the bar did their thing! The cocktails were packed with flavor. I tried the Main Street Marg and the Bad & Boozy, and both were perfectly balanced. The drinks alone are worth the visit. (See drink pics & menu for the full cocktail list!) Food Highlights: Wings (4 flavors): We ordered Cajun, hot, lemon pepper, and jerk. Each flavor hit differently but equally delicious. Fried Catfish & Grits with Gouda: Creamy grits paired with seasoned shrimp and gravy--Southern comfort at its finest. Now $24 bucks it should be at least two piece catfish or large one piece. Fried Okra: Crispy and tasty, though slightly over-fried for my taste. (Peep the food boards and that creamy shrimp & grits plate--chef's kiss!) Decor & Atmosphere: From the murals to the portraits of legends like MLK and Otis Redding, the space was visually inviting and warm. The open kitchen and moody lighting added to the vibe without feeling too dark. (See the artwork, dining setup, and the golden kitchen lighting in pics.) Pro Tip: They close at 9 PM--even on Saturdays. So don't wait too late to pull up! Overall, Crazy Coop lives up to the name--in the best way. Great food. Great drinks. Great people. Can't wait to come back!

We both checked out the menu. Even though I'm not supposed to be eating fried foods, I went ahead and ordered the six piece wing combo. It comes with six fried chicken wings and french fries and a fountain drink. We waited about 15 minutes for our food to be ready which tells me that they actually took the time to cook it correctly. I was very happy with what I received and we went to choose a table to sit down and eat. I chose to have Mountain Dew from the fountain drinks because I was still exhausted from my long trip. My six wings were nice and plump juicy and very delicious. They were fried perfectly golden brown and they had enough seasoning on them to make it taste perfectly delicious. The fries here are seasoned fries and they're also fried very well and perfect. I started to get full after eating my fourth wing, but they were so good that I finished all six of them. I ate a little bit of the fries even though they were delicious. I just couldn't fit them in my tummy. They have other items here for sale like catfish, fried okra, hush puppies, fish, and chips things like that and the chicken. I'm happy that I was able to enjoy the wings and my friend also enjoyed her chicken tenders meal. I recommend this place if you're looking for really good fried chicken or fried items because they seasoned them very well. They also have ice cream by the scoop and I didn't have any but my friend did and she said it was good. I spotted about six flavors of ice cream. The staff was very customer service oriented. I appreciated their hospitality.

You also can't call ahead to find out if it's one of those days because the line states the number has changed but the new number is unknown... However, the wings are amazing. Perfectly seasoned! I had looked over the menu online so I had set my mind on ordering a half chicken but he informed me they no longer offered it. I looked over the menu again and I decided on ordering the chicken salad waffle sandwich and it came with chips and fruit. My sister had the order of chicken wings and we got a side of mac and cheese, two drinks, and a slice of cheesecake. We sat down and waited for our food. It didn't take too long for it to be ready and the very friendly employee brought it to our table. The chicken sandwich was pretty good but it got soggy very fast so it got messy as the waffle kept crumbling. The chicken breast itself tasted really good and the sandwich was stuffed. The fruit was fresh and sweet. The chicken wings were the best ones we've had in a minute! They were juicy, crispy. and full of flavor. The mac and cheese was also delicious. It was hot and cheesy. We decided to eat the cheesecake back in the room since we were super stuffed after we ate all our food. I quickly noticed that it smelled funky as I opened it and it had an overpowering cheese smell. My sister took her first bite and she made a disgusted face. I then proceeded to try it and I did not like it one bit. It definitely did not taste like regular cheesecake or to what we are used to. This was not good. Overall our dinner was good and the service was great. Both guys that were working were friendly and provided great service. I would so come back for some more chicken wings and mac and cheese! Try them out!!
