My mother had the fried chicken and it was the same thigh meat just breaded and fried. She did love her biscuit and molasses. My aunt had a chicken Caesar salad and they didn't put chicken on it. After an hour some people didn't have food and they came out to retake their order. At the end the kitchen team came out to ask how everything was. That was a nice touch. I pulled a sous chef to the side and gave him my thoughts on the pasta dish. His reply was if you eat it they will charge you. Trust me it had been sitting there an hour before he came out. Not eating it! At the end we all had to go to a register and pay. Some of us received a bill and some had to tell the cashier what we had. My bill was $60. When I got to the register to pay she said $69. They added a 15% gratuity. First of all add gratuity automatically for large parties. Second of all 15% is too low unless you're in a local bar and grill. The point is don't get people to a register without a ticket and they not know what they owe in advance. Shady practice or you need a POS system in place to properly execute and serve guests. Needs stronger leadership in the dining room and kitchen.
