It's an extremely difficult process to get an appointment (you have to email even if you're right outside the building and the lady who picked up won't tell you anything, not even their availability for appointments) Who has time to email for an appointment to see a chair?? And what's the point of providing a phone number if you only take appointments over email?? With thousands of modern scheduling apps, it's much easier for me to book a doctors visit!! Then she explained we need to fill out a form and then without us saying anything she suddenly changed her mind that the space is close today due to the covid19 virus. I asked her where on the website make those notice to customer. She said it's pandemic time that she can't do anything for us if we don't leave she would call security. And she did. Then we went downstairs, the guard downstairs mentioned a small piece of paper with instruction that we need to call to make an appointment and bring a form before visiting. So we did. And after half an hour, they called back saying that they will cancel the appointment because only employees are allowed. However, we just saw some clients went upstairs and telling the guard downstairs they they have an appointment with steel case. More ironically, we have our friend calling the company to make an appointment. my friend was successful. This is extremely discriminating and insulting.

Their prices are very reasonable, the place is clean, and the staff is super helpful, easy going and most of all friendly. They even have a cat, Mish Mish, who I enjoy seeing. The owner of the store also has two other locations by Columbia University. (There was a third one, which closed down on 109th street). I feel very lucky to live walking distance near there, and I am grateful how helpful they've been.

A bit of a strange experience when I got off the elevator, but I made my way back to the shipping counter. Long line. The line moved very quickly, mostly because of the heroic efforts of one Staples employee named Virginia. Fast, friendly, SO helpful. She probably saved me $15 in shipping fees and, despite the looming line, took time to find the smallest box she could use to pack my things. She was patient as I fumbled my forms and was even nice to my old dog. I stopped and told the managers on my way out, and they were just as nice. Don't give up on brick and mortar stores! Kind staff make it so worth it, on every level. And Staples: Virginia needs a raise or a tip jar!!! She's the reason I will be back.

The young women working the printing center were friendly, helpful, and so kind to answer any questions I had. They had my items quickly available and seemed to be willing to re-print anything if there was a problem (which there wasn't). Printing at Staples can be a bit more expensive than other places, but the quick turnaround, the convenience, and the quality of the prints make the price what you would expect. In all, I really appreciated the service I received here and would visit this location again if I found myself in the area!
