They provide Happy Return service. Came to do a quick drop off. Staff were helpful. They scanned the package and gave a confirmation receipt. No hassle. Service is quick and easy. I only did the return. Did not purchase anything else. They have good collections of technology, travel and shippings. Now offering discounts for tech items. If you are looking for something with low price, prob can check it out. They also have Amazon return and UPS drop off. read more

Staples - Printing Services Near Me - New York, New York

I ordered a few prints for pickup during a chaotic, busy, and short trip into NYC. While I was worrying over every step of my trip, this Staples location was honestly like a breath of fresh air. The young women working the printing center were friendly, helpful, and so kind to answer any questions I had. They had my items quickly available and seemed to be willing to re-print anything if there was a problem (which there wasn't). Printing at Staples can be a bit more expensive than other places, but the quick turnaround, the convenience, and the quality of the prints make the price what you would expect. In all, I really appreciated the service I received here and would visit this location again if I found myself in the area! read more

I've had to come here several times never had an issue but just feels like they need more staff. They should let ppl that are just dropping off packages with labels to UPS not have to stay on the same line for amazon returns read more

Subject: Formal Complaint - Discriminatory and Unprofessional Conduct at Staples Union Square (5 Union Square West, New York, NY 10003) Dear Staples Customer Service / Store Manager, I'm writing to report a seriously rude and unacceptable incident that happened at your Union Square store on April 4, 2026. I was already in line--had been waiting several minutes--at the cashier station where a staff member was about to help me load funds onto my Staples card so I could print what I needed. Out of nowhere, another cashier--designation Cashier Number --shows up with her own customer, literally pushes that customer ahead of me--even though her person wasn't ready to pay--and shoves the cashier who was serving me aside, kicking her off the computer. All so she could jump her customer in front of me. No apology, no "excuse me," nothing--just straight-up disrespect. She could've easily told her customer to wait thirty seconds until my quick transaction was done, but instead she bulldozed everything. This wasn't just poor service--it felt targeted. I'm a person of color, and the way she dismissed me, like I didn't matter, screamed that old "back of the bus" attitude. Covert discrimination like this has no place in retail, especially not in 2026 Manhattan. If this cashier--or whoever's supervising her--isn't pulled aside, retrained, or disciplined, I'll be posting a detailed review on Google, Yelp, and anywhere else I can, calling out the discriminatory pattern at this location. Also, after she rang out her customer and finished pushing my cashier out the way, she actually ended up ringing me out herself and adding the money onto my Staples card--right behind her own customer who wasn't even in line or ready to pay. I still have the receipt from that purchase if you need proof. Please investigate right away. I want confirmation that this gets addressed--no excuses. the cashier was number 3074772 happened on 4/2/2026 store:953 time was=7:07pm register was#5 transaction:7273 Sincerely, read more

I love the Staples in Union Square!!! Most of all I love the Print Center! Everyone who works there really goes the extra distance to help customers. But my standout favorites are Andrilla and Rio ! They made printing out a poster so fast and easy. I will always go to Staples in Union Square for my printing needs! read more

I have always had a great experience with the print department. They have finished projects early, keep me informed regarding pick up and the quality is noticeable. I put posters for my dance nights in a faily dim bar and the lights reflect so nicely. The color clarity is also exceptional. Staff is super nice, though be prepared to wait on the phone: hard to get them die to being busy. read more

Came in on Sunday to make a color print. At the store charges $1/a minute using a computer. I saw the note that a card machines won't work, so I switched the computer before I use...... most of the computers were used by the customers. Color prints are working well. $1/per page in color. I didn't have any negative experiences. Staff were very helpful. note book, Paper Holder, are 50c now. Traveler's goods are also on sale now. I've attached photos and hopefully, it will help :) It's located in Union Sq. I highly recommended at this location. read more

Staples Print Shop 11:45am on Thursday 12 people waiting for help One person at the desk, one person in the back room doing who knows what. No organization, no indication of any lines to wait in and everyone trying to get assistance at the same time. I will never return to this location. read more

I am the most polite when it comes to customer service, but I wish I could give 0 stars. I went to do Amazon returns here and the woman behind the counter, didn't see her name tag but she had brown hair and glasses, was extremely extremely rude to me. There was a non paying customer also doing Amazon returns who was not waiting on the line but at the corner of the register. When it was my turn (and there were other people behind me), I went up to the counter. Because I had more items to return than the woman who was not waiting on line, the sales associate was extremely rude and told me that because I have more items, she's going to take care of the other woman who was NOT WAITING ON LINE before me. When she finally took me at the register, she was extremely rude and nasty toward me and pushed my receipt across the counter when I was leaving. If you hate your job, quit. That's not my problem. But don't be rude to me because you hate your job or are mad that I was upset for being treated unfairly. And staples, do better with the personalities you hire. Not a good look. read more

Jay was great for customer service and patience...Went there to print up some flyers and he was very helpful. I know this location a lot of times has a line and people waiting, but he was 'multi-tasking' and helping several at the same time. Thank you so much! read more

The Staples Print Center is the BEST in the city !!!! I went there with not very much time to spare and had two huge laminated signs printed out in a half an hour! Elias and Saj are just an amazing team. They look at your project and help you figure out what's the best way to print it, yesterday it was raining and the lamination they did held up for hours in the rain and it still looks brand new! The price was absolutely unbelievably cheap and it's even cheaper if you put your order in online. There is no doubt in my mind I will be going back to this print center frequently. Wow what a great deal.! And a PS ! I love this store ! The customer service is friendly and fast ! read more

They had a good selection on printers here. I spoke with Nefertiti and she was super helpful. The service was good, incredible service. I felt they had good prices. I bought a nice MFC printer that I'm happy with. Thank you for helping read more

5 stars for Montana!! Thank you for making the TSA precheck process easy and quick!!!

Don't come here to print. The printers don't work and they won't tell you. You will get charged for wasted time on the computer and printing that never happened. It takes very little effort to post printing instructions for users to read to make sure we only use the working printers. read more

Thank you to Chris in the Printing and Marketing department! He was very professional and reliable; when a job got bungled from another Staples, he saved the day on a time sensitive project. Much appreciated! read more

Horrible customer service from Lakiya. Mocking, dismissive and rude. Nicer lady at the front desk.

Lady behind the UPS counter was extremely rude. I was trying to mail a package and she told me they don't do QR codes. She said it with an attitude as if I was interrupting her precious time of her staring at her phone all day playing candy crush. Then when I asked her a question she rudely interrupted me. read more

Horrible customer service. They messed up with their job and blamed me for "picking the design"?? The package arrived damaged. Cards have white stains on them. I wasn't offered a refund and made look crazy by the clerk. He even talked about me to other customers. This is unacceptable!!! I am filing a dispute. read more

Do not come here to drop off a package. I was dropping off for UPS and my package has fragile stickers all around it. The associate proceeded to throw, literally finger roll the package into an empty bin. I will never drop off a package here again. UPS I hope you are reading these messages. read more

To heed the hope of attaining photocopies as I do not wish to relinquish my only printouts, this Staples conveniently operates 24/7 Mondays to Fridays and Saturday and Sundays close late. I am old school as I prefer paper and "written in b&w" so attaining something in writing is vital for my personal records. Prepared with my Staples copy card I was shocked that there are only two (2) copy machines available and saw a long line of patrons who want to fax or use their printers. Many patrons standing on the long queue appears to be students, or new graduates, or seeking employment. The copy machines are high quality self-serve as the instructions are on the touch screen "number of copies, double-sided, single-sided, photo quality, color, b&w" options as one would never attain on a standard "all-in-one machine." read more

I was about to leave in order to find any other place that prints but encountered Cheick who was a total DREAM. After logging on to a PC to download and print a file, I was charged for the usage but informed printing wasn't an option. The employees in that section were in the back or waiting on a line of customers so I was ready to walk out and eat the cost. I went to the front and approached Cheick because he seemed intelligent, focused and engaged. It was a great call! He went above and beyond to help me, to the point that he resized and modified the format of my document in order to make it print properly. I don't know if Cheick is a supervisor but if not, HE NEEDS TO BE. I usually dread going to this location but was floored by his impeccable professionalism and kindness! read more

The five stars is for the TSA Precheck station here. I walked in on Friday a little after 4, had just a few min wait, without an appointment. Was fast, painless, the lady who helped me was very nice and helpful. I applied online before coming, and this was the suggested store that was closest in my ZIP Code. You're supposed to be approved within 3 to 5 days, but I was approved by evening of the next day. When you get fingerprinted they don't use ink. They smush your fingers against the screen. Now as a staples store, I can't give the same praise. I was looking at electronics and all the things that they had displayed are not in stock. So not a good place to get electronics. But mead notebooks were $.35! read more

This staples open 24 hours. It's very convenient to find a 24 hours open staples. But every time I go there for printing needs the printing computer messed up and they keep charging my credit card. I have to pay even the prints that came out bad. When I ask the people if I can get refund they say no. They got nothing to do with it it's the automatic system . Ok I understand that's a automatic system but the printers or the computer is making mistake and printing wrong. When you ask them for help before you start to print it takes for ever for them to come and help you or they just don't come to help. Mostly shopping experience is good but this printing desk are not good at all. basically waisted money for nothing. I had to pay $20 extra for the wrong printing. That's food and not a good business etich. read more

If you are looking to ship something out do yourself a favor and go anywhere else but here

Due to the coronavirus situation, all Staples stores will now be open from 10-6 on M-F (although open from 9-10 a.m. only for seniors & those with underlying health issues) and from 12-5 on Saturdays. The stores will be closed on Sundays. read more

Generally poor service. There was one individual who was helpful but the others couldn't be bothered to help even though we weren't doing anything. Also, the male cashier was horrible. Just lets your order sit there, doesn't offer a bag...does NOTHING!!! Terrible. read more

They don't sell regular mailing envelopes by the place you mail it, so they make you walk up to the second floor, then you have to stand in a DIFFERENT check out line to buy the envelope then go BACK and ship it there and then go BACK to the checkout line AGAIN to pay! does NOT make sense, inefficient. The layout doesn't make a lot of sense, but the customer service helped to remedy it with apologies. read more

I had the best experience at a staples here. The man named Madi Dembele was so helpful and accommodating in the printing department.

As I walked up to the cash register with the boy towing four giant cardboard boxes behind me, I commented, "Are you okay carrying that? Maybe we can fashion a handle out of duct tape or something..." Not two minutes later, the cashier had folded all four boxes into a V-shape, created a handle out of tape, and expertly wrapped the tape with a plastic baggie. Either they're trained to make life better for customers, or someone is exceptionally innovative. That really -was- easy! read more

I am grateful Staples is open 24 hours. I needed to send a late night fax and buy some printer ink. Customer service is casual and relaxed. I'm almost positive there is a card skimmer on one of the printer's credit card readers in the store. Card was compromised not long after printing there (no other places where likely to have been compromised around that time). I suggest using cash (& I'm curious if anyone else has seen fraudulent activity on their card after paying at a printer here). read more

I joined yelp today because I had to let TSA-Staples know how easy it is to apply for the known travel number with Montana at Union Sq. A couple of us had to wait for 15 minutes for her to get the tablet to go back on line. She kept us informed with what the tech on the phone was doing to help and gave us discount coupons to use in the store. Ten hours later I have received my number just in time for my trip on Sat. That WAS easy. read more

I went to Staples to print something urgently and since this is the only store open late, I came to this location. The staff at the printing center was trying to be helpful with everything that he could do, but both printers in the back were printing with streaks and the colors were off. He had to use another printer that would take 10-15 mins each time to load my file and it took us 4 times to get the orientation of the prints right. It was such a nightmare and if Staples cannot keep up with their printer maintenance, it is absolutely pointless to have it at all. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and the only reason it gets two stars is because of the staff that tried his best with the limited resources that he had. read more

Staples - Wasted over 60 pages of paper. - Printing Services Near Me - New York, New York

If I could rate zero I would. Their customer service is terrible and NOT easy. Incorrectly purchased legal size copy paper instead of letter. When I tried to return, without receipt, the value was .50 cents! Are you kidding me! Tell me where it's on your shelf for .50 and I'll buy it. It says staples on the package for crying out loud. It's your product and the website shows it $12. And change. And I was going to buy even more stuff. Well thank you. You made it easy for me to shop somewhere else now. read more

I needed to print 270 pages. Instead of the lady tell me that she will help me to print it, she sent me to do it myself. After all I came to print many pages and not just few. read more
