THE nicest tattoo experience I've had :) The artists are friendly, patient and helpful. The atmosphere is beyond comfortable, even for someone who's nervous. The shop is also very clean and tidy! Chuck did mine and it's exactly what I wanted. He was gentle, informative, a fast worker and just an all around great guy! He happily worked overtime to finish mine and even after that,sat outside and chatted with my boyfriend and I for awhile. 10/10 AMAZING! I went here for my first tattoo. The place is very very clean. I got it while I was on vacation so we went around and looked at the places first. Right away I knew I would go here for my tattoo. I met the owner and 3 of the artists. They were all very very nice and actually care about the person and their work they put on the person. They customize it and tell you their ideas about where it should go and why. They offer professional advice, and care. They walked me through the whole process. My anxiety was through the roof!!! Mike was my artist and he was so sweet, funny and really cared. They told me how to help it and take care of it while it heals. Highly recommend! read more

I received the worst cover up experience and after the owners response to my negative review, I'll be more vocal about this horrible cover up I can show people here in town. Nice and clean shop located in the Florida Keys. My girlfriend and I booked a couple appointments about a week out. We got a few small tattoos, nothing crazy extravagant. Shop prices were good, the owner is extremely friendly and listens to our needs and fulfill them. Next time I'm down there I will be getting more ink. read more

What ever you do be warned about Mike. He changed the design half way through the tattoo and charged double what was quoted. He also talks WAY more than he works. if you like old school sailor tats then he's for you but BE WARNED!!!!!!! read more

My husband wanted to get a tattoo after our 1 year Anniversary in Marathon where we were married. We were recommended Tony @ Docs Tattoo by a local that is a friend of ours. We walked in and had a great conversation with Tony. My husband made an appointment for the day before we left so he could enjoy the water some more. Tony was sweet, knowledgeable and even invited us to some of his gigs that week. (He's a musician too!). We arrived for our appointment and didn't have to wait long for him to get started. My husband was ecstatic with the finished product. He says it's the best tattoo that he has ever gotten and he cannot wait to add more to it when we come back next year. Went in Monday for a small tattoo, gecko on my foot, had an idea of what I wanted but not 100%. I had read the reviews for Doc's and they were all 5 stars, and everyone raved about Chuck. Fortunately I had Chuck do my tattoo. Not only did he design a beautiful artistic gecko for me, he also keep me calm and gave me so much confidence on the safety and care for the after care. Allen is a great listener, and researched the image that we discussed before our appointment, sketching a few designs for us to consider. I was equally pleased with his light touch once the needle was buzzing, he's a considerate artist and he finished quickly. Most impressive was his attention to detail, and the vibrancy of the colors in the finished pieces. Overall, it was a fun experience and we both thoroughly enjoyed getting inked at Doc's.
