After waiting maybe 5-10 minutes she had drawn up something for me, and believe me when i say i wasn't much help, i let her run with it. Great shop with a great vibe, I've been tattooed there by two different artists and will never go anywhere else again. I recently got a few tattoos done by Mia and they are AMAZING! I've been to other shops who really damaged my skin due to the fact that I have darker skin and they need to "saturate the ink better" however, Mia did not cause me any unnecessary pain and they were still saturated to perfection! Appointment was scheduled 3 days in advance and I got no fewer than 5 texts confirming appointment, with a $50 no show fee highlighted if we didn't show. They informed us that the appointments were cancelled because the piercer was sick. No call, no text, no apology, no offer to make it right. My daughter who is 19 had an appointment for a tattoo. We get there and she is told that I cannot sit with her. This is not her first tattoo but she wanted me to be with her to look at the design and placement, etc. The man who works the front desk is rude and talks down to people. Making sure your paying customers feel comfortable and welcome in your establishment should be a top priority. We left and they ended up charging my card on file $50 to cover the appointment cost. As a lover of the story a tattoo can tell, I wandered into this shop and explained to the receptionist about wanting a small Key West Shrimp tattoo (about the size of a nickel). I asked who was the best at fine - line small work and she introduced me to Paul- and what a doll! When I tell you in all my travels and all my previous work this might be my favorite. Shocker. I see now that they didn't actually care and just wanted everyone else on yelp to think that they were trying to solve it. If I could have given a big fat 0 stars, I would have! The front desk girl was absolutely the rudest! We went in earlier in the day and were quoted a price. She told us $100 more when we came back later (a guy had quoted us earlier in the day). Then, when said we had been in there earlier and told her the size and price we were given, she was a bitch and said our tattoo shop won't do it that small (we wanted it half dollar size on our ankles) and said we can't do it for that price either bc it has to be bigger. I can see why this place wasn't recommended by others at the resort for the top tattoo place in Key West. Very unprofessional and extremely rude! Take your hard earned money elsewhere! read more

I am so disappointed and upset about my lack of a tattoo. I have a few tattoos so I am familiar with how the process for most tattooists work. I made my appointment one month ahead of time after researching the shops in Key West. After reading reviews I was confident this place would be it. I should have listened to my instincts and not reviews. This is a place for constant turn over and vacation tattoos, not real involved tattoos. The "artist" assigned to me said he's been doing tattoos since 1996 and said he didn't have enough experience as an artist to do my tattoo. He canceled on me because he wanted me to be happy with my work. Instead I am crying over the one thing this dumb, fake beach, bug infested, no actual shells on beaches, drunk ass island took away from me on my once in a lifetime 6 month road trip from Alaska to Key West. My long awaited tattoo. That I had planned for this road trip.. for this ending.. Basically I made a tattoo appointment about a month in advance. I tried to go in and talk to my artist three times and he never made time to talk to me. The night before our appointment he realizes he has no idea what I actually wanted and the attempts he made at drawing everything were all wrong. He decided to cancel because he is the wrong guy for the job (or just doesn't want to do it) and apparently there are zero other artists at this establishment to take over. This business had over a month to assign me any artist that could work on this tattoo with me. Like I said.. high turnover is the business model not actual art. read more

My friends and I are on vacation and one of them wanted to get a tattoo that wraps around her right wrist. It was maybe 8 inches in total and took under an hour to complete. Once we got talking to the artist he found out were tourists and charged her close to $700! What a complete robbery! They only disclosed to her that it was a $100 shop minimum so we don't know why she got charged that much for a quick and smaller tattoo like that. If you go don't tell them you're a tourist if you are they'll up charge you once it's done. read more

The service was terrible. walking in everyone was on their phone not one care to greet the customers. The tattoo stencil was only printed once, no extras to get the best placement for the customer. The shop minimum was $100 and for a small simple floral piece was $645 once he found out we were tourists. Disgusting way to run a business. You should not take advantage of those who are traveling and those who are not familiar with pricing for tattoos. I get a slightly higher price being on vacation. $645 for a tattoo that took LESS THAN ONE HOUR is robbery and the shop knows it. please do not support this business. Pocketing $645 for less than an hour of lazy line work is disgusting and the people employed should be ashamed to sleep at night. read more

I just booked back to back appointments to get as much accomplished of a sleeve as possible. The bookings were open online. They contacted me via text to see if I wanted a consultation rather than an appointment. No I actually wanted an appointment. I actually wanted to appointments. That's why I booked them. They said they were too busy and canceled my appointments- both. I previously had many appointments booked there, the tattoos turned out very well. But that's only because I knew the artist working on me. In this particular instance, I chose a different artist that I didn't know, and although her schedule appeared open from 7 PM to 11 PM they contacted me to cancel They stated that I shouldn't just begin a sleeve all willy-nilly.
