I went to the store to purchase the firearm. When I got to the store I was informed I had to go back home and purchase the weapon online and have it sent to the store. (not sure why i couldn't just order it through the store, it was their online store) I did just that along with an accessory to go with the firearm. The firearm and the accessory were shipped at 2 different times to different locations so I was charged shipping twice ultimately causing me to pay twice as much for the grips as I could have purchased at the store while I was there. The firearm that I ordered finally came in 10 days later. I went to the store to pick up the firearm to be informed that it had come in damaged and they had already informed the warehouse and had reordered but could not tell me how long it would take to replace.(I understand damage but a phone call would have been nice) I checked back online and noticed that the firearm was no longer in stock online. I asked the associate if they had anything comparable in stock as this item was a gift and already 10 days late, he informed me, they did not. I asked if I could cancel and get a refund and was informed I needed to call customer service when I got back home. After getting online, the store, according to the website, has a firearm that would be acceptable as a substitute. I was willing to go back to the store and purchase the other firearm however I was then told by customer service that I could not get my refund until the store had absorbed the canceled gun in stock. So now I'm out $2000 for who knows how long, the store will not "absorb" this damaged gun into inventory, that would be dumb, so it will have to be shipped back. I've made 3 trips to the store with nothing to show for it and I still have to find a retirement gift and have it personalized. Tim Irish

Mrs. Jones heard I requested 8mm ammunition and a few days later the shelves were stacked with several boxes. They offer a wide array of ammunition for every budget and what I appreciate is they have the oddball stuff I like such as .257 Roberts and 30-40 Krag for example, along with .303 British blanks. I've been on a recent kick to find blanks so my 13 year old son who is a bit recoil shy can learn the fundamentals without worrying about the hard kick to his shoulder. Mrs. Jones is customer focused and if she can order it, she will do her best to get it. The depth and breadth and variety of firearms, supplies and fishing lures and bait are far more impressive to me than what you find at a crowded big box store such as PSA. They offer a bit of everything and each time I'm in, there's always something new. They are my go to for deer corn (cob and kernel only) and the staff- Summer and Dan are like extended family to me. They don't understand but just chatting with them has truly brought me joy since I lost my Dad to Cancer. This place is a hidden gem that you should check out and it's the people - Mr. and Mrs. Jones, Summer and Dan that remind me why I moved back home to SC after enduring 22 long years and winters in central Ohio.
