When I was purchasing a New Air Filter for my Husqvar riding mower, the sales girl suggested I buy a foam cover for my new air filter, with the owner standing right beside her, she said alot of people use them for added protection from dust and dirt getting into the air filter. When I put the foam sleeve on over my new air filter and placed the filter back into its space, the foam filter curled up and rolled up on itself every time. The foam sleeve was too bulky, and the air filter cover would not close down properly. This foam filter was a $3.00 item they sold me that did not fit properly. They are a Husqvar Dealer, they should have known this foam sleeve was a waste of money, and I feel they sold me a useless item just to pad their pockets, and maybe they take advantage of alot of their customers? I am a widow who has to pinch pennies and do all the home chores myself now. If this is the way they treated me as a customer, why would I trust them to work on my mower in the future if I needed repairs or maintenance done?? Darlington Chain Saw may have ripped me off for $3.00 this time, but they lost me as a future customer by selling me a useless item that does not fit or could not work properly. Maybe they think because I am a woman.. I wouldn't know any better? read more
