I prefer…read morethis to shooting lanes where you have to depend on other shooters to change out targets etc. Plus with your own bay, you can set up target scenarios and practice tactical movement and engagement. This range also has lanes if you prefer as well as dedicated rifle and shotgun use areas. If you are into skeet, that is here as well. This location is also a United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) competition site which are held periodically. The range rental price is average ($20/per person) and they have family plans which definitely ($300 & $400/year plans for 4 daily passes) worth it if you practice often. There is also a very nice pole barn style building that can rented for functions, wedding etc. The main office also has range supplies if so needed. I have the family plan and I will get my monies worth! If you like shooting sports, this is a great place to use.

A typical mid week morning visit and the place is full of customers purchasing firearms and ammo. More guns and ammo than I expected. Better selection on hand in after-market and OEM selections as well. Small place but it keeps going back inside to reveal store rooms, class room and indoor range. Many staff people and a gunsmith on hand. Big dog to pat as well. A family vibe here. I have done due-dillagence on a gun that they happened to have in stock so I can say with confidence the pricing was very fair. They happened to have Federal 9mm as well and did not soak me on the price, (0.48 per round as of 3-16-21). People seemed to be nice and obviously know what they are selling. The range had good HVAC and was maintained clean. Range Master was polite and helpful. Same with counter sales. I noticed a diverse cliental mix of people actively engaged in purchasing during my stay, (over two hours). I learned a couple of things from the folks there in seeking help and understanding. I would recommend stopping in to rent a gun and try the range out. You may be surprised by what you experience here. Great to have a family owned and operated business with a large inventory and fair pricing. When you stop in, don't forget to pat the dog.

So far the Absolute worst gun buying experience of my life!…read more I looked online for a gun I wanted to purchase. I found it in stock online at Palmetto State Armory. I went to the store to purchase the firearm. When I got to the store I was informed I had to go back home and purchase the weapon online and have it sent to the store. (not sure why i couldn't just order it through the store, it was their online store) I did just that along with an accessory to go with the firearm. The firearm and the accessory were shipped at 2 different times to different locations so I was charged shipping twice ultimately causing me to pay twice as much for the grips as I could have purchased at the store while I was there. The firearm that I ordered finally came in 10 days later. I went to the store to pick up the firearm to be informed that it had come in damaged and they had already informed the warehouse and had reordered but could not tell me how long it would take to replace.(I understand damage but a phone call would have been nice) I checked back online and noticed that the firearm was no longer in stock online. I asked the associate if they had anything comparable in stock as this item was a gift and already 10 days late, he informed me, they did not. I asked if I could cancel and get a refund and was informed I needed to call customer service when I got back home. After getting online, the store, according to the website, has a firearm that would be acceptable as a substitute. I was willing to go back to the store and purchase the other firearm however I was then told by customer service that I could not get my refund until the store had absorbed the canceled gun in stock. So now I'm out $2000 for who knows how long, the store will not "absorb" this damaged gun into inventory, that would be dumb, so it will have to be shipped back. I've made 3 trips to the store with nothing to show for it and I still have to find a retirement gift and have it personalized. Tim Irish

This range has been updated over the years I have been coming here. The drainage has been improved and cement pads poured for the shooting lanes. There is a pavillion covering a large staging area with a Range Masters tower built above it. There is also a 100 yard rifle platform available. Not having used this section of the range, I do not know what the requirements are to utilize that area of the range. Overall, it is a very nice outdoor range and look forward to using it again.
