Doc's Burger
Addy C.

Everyone at my table literally said they had burger envy - their bad for ordering something else. My co-workers had told me that their burgers were very good - they were right! My burger was delicious, juicy, and greasy. The Doc's Burger is a 1/2 lb chargrilled burger that comes w/ fries ($12.90) ... you get a choice of curly fries or potato wedges. Both great but I'd get the potato wedges next time. The place itself is a complete dive and it's been around since the 1980s - we went during lunch and it was pretty dead - but the complete opposite after hours ... they allow smoking too so there's that. But I would still come back for their burger - it's that good. FYI they do charge a tiny extra for credit card payments ("non-cash adjustment"), and they added 18% tip ... we had 6 people in our group. Our server was very nice.

Queso with blackened salmon

They made accommodations for my dietary restrictions.. I haven't eaten meat since 2018. I am strictly pescatarian and they only had the option for blackened chicken or beef to add to the queso. I appreciate the flexibility and this is actually delicious.!

I was there on a Sunday afternoon to watch the football game with some friends. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very nice and friendly. Our order did take a long time to come out. When the food did come out the mozzarella sticks were cold so the bartender took them back and brought back warm ones which was a lot better. The drinks were good and they had some specials. It is a chill bar to watch the game but people in there do smoke so that can be a turn off. I tried not to be around people that were smoking but the bar does have a noticeable scent of smoke.

Okay. This is definitely not my type of place. It was crowded and all I could smell was cigarette smoke. Heavy on cigarette smoke! (I came with others) There were barely any tables so we shared a table with a couple that was eating. We all ordered wings, which were amazing. The food and waitress gets five stars. The environment prompted my rating.

If there was a negative star I would put it on this review because the level of service is horrible. The waitress was nice, but the manager was useless. She refused to hold the hot sauce on a wing order to accommodate people that can't peppered food. This should loose the license to sell wings in the city of Atlanta. Management Customer service is Basura, and I am not surprised why people that patronize this place like they once did before.

The service is horrible, our waitress never came back to ask us if we needed any refills or nothing. Didn't ask was we ok, how was our food or anything. There was a table across from us with a guy sitting by himself she went to his table helped him and never turned around to see if we needed help. My husband chicken tender were cooked in old grease and over cooked. Came out cold, will not return.

Drinks and shots were super cheap, and super strong with heavy pours. Had a great vibe for a late night drink.

This place is nasty. Stinks like cigarettes, beer is skunked, food burnt. I won't be back.

Everything was flavorful and did not disappoint. I also enjoyed an espresso martini, and my mom was treated to a birthday dessert featuring white chocolate blueberry cheesecake. I loved the ambiance, the spacious bar area, and the outdoor patio. This was a new-to-me spot that I'm glad we tried for a special occasion! It was so good and we had such a great experience that we went back again a few months later to celebrate my aunt's birthday. This time, we had a big party and were able to make a reservation. The restaurant does a great job of accommodating big parties, and I believe they also have a private room. Our waitress was Maddy, and she was exceptional. She did a great job with our party and was very patient with us. The second time, I ordered something different and got the pasta. We all got a variety of different dishes, appetizers, and drinks, and everything was immaculate. I would definitely recommend Park 82 to others. The food, ambiance, and overall experience are exceptional. I love that because it's very hard to find quality restaurants these days. Definitely a spot I'd return to again!

Inside: The restaurant is charming, cozy, and still feels modern, with both patio and indoor seating available. Plus, if you're not planning to go with a big group, they have plenty of bar seating. There's also plenty of free parking in the parking deck behind the restaurant/building. Service: Despite having a large party, our server, Maddie, was very efficient, kind, and attentive. While we were waiting for several of our party members to arrive, she quickly started us off with drinks. She maintained that same level of attentive service throughout the entire evening, from appetizers and entrees to dessert. Orders were placed quickly, and she was also quick to clear the table between courses to make sure we had enough space. Pricing: Pricing is probably about middle range. It's not necessarily going to break the bank, but if you're looking for something super cheap, this isn't it. We were able to pay for our own items/split the check, which is always great with a large party. A lot of restaurants don't offer that option when dealing with a bigger group. On average, I'd say you could spend anywhere from $30-$50 per person, depending on what you order and whether you get a drink (specifically alcohol). Food & Drinks: The star of the show and the reason you're really reading this review lol. The first time I came with my family, we tried the fried green tomatoes and chicken potstickers. The second time we came, we ordered the exact same appetizers. That alone should tell you how much we enjoyed them lol. I also ordered the same entrée I had the first time: the Georgia Fried Chicken. It is SO delicious. The chicken is tender, juicy, and has the perfect batter. It comes with macaroni (2nd time I got truffle fires) and Brussels sprouts, which are just as equally tasty. The portion size is very hearty, so I definitely think the price ($26) is worth it. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food, drinks, dessert, and atmosphere. We all agreed that Park 82 is a restaurant we'd definitely go back

Then the waitress said that it included soup and salad. Then I felt the price was fair. When the cream of potato came. It was pretty tasty. It's loaded ingredients and actually creamy. I also found a piece of bay leaf in it. Then the amore came which was basically a lobster ravioli with shrimps and scallops in a seafood bisque. The seafood was cooked right, not under or over cooked. If you are for dessert, you will have a lot of choices. The menu is also full of choices. The atmosphere has this lavish feel. It has a lot of elaborated lighting and cushioned seating. When I went there after midnight on a Thursday night, the parking lot was 90% full. I was surprised because I was not expecting this packed.

Our food on both days of our visit to Marietta were very good. If the southern eggs Benedict are available on their specials board, have at it! I'd been wanting to try this place for a long time, ever since I started a list of Atlanta biscuit…read morespots. The Red Eyed Mule has been consistently recommended as a top-tier place to get a biscuit in the greater Atlanta area, so I figured I'd finally give it a go. I got the spicy chicken biscuit, along with another biscuit on the side with some cheesy scrambled eggs and a side of country sausage to build my own SEC biscuit. First of all, the biscuits are HUGE. They're the ultra-soft, buttery, pull-apart-but-not-in-a-flaky-way type biscuits, which I enjoy. The spicy fried chicken was good on its own, but nothing outstanding. The country sausage was good, too. Don't get me wrong--I liked everything I tried. That being said, I didn't find them to be anything that had a "wow" factor, so I am glad I ended up trying multiple items just in case I was underwhelmed. I overheard a local in line talking about their corned beef hash, which he said was not your typical dish straight out of a can and onto the flat top, which, for the record, I have no problem with. But man am I glad I gave it a go. The corned beef comes in large chunks of shredded pieces, clearly taken from a big corned beef brisket and then mixed in and cooked with small diced potatoes. This was my favorite dish, by far. I'd come back just for that. I also tried their cheese grits, which was better than usual at a diner style restaurant. The customer service was awesome, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere in general. Worth noting it backs up quickly. I got there at 9:02, 2 minutes after they opened, and there was already a line at the door. I'll be back with friends for a dish of corned beef hash and grits, and I'll probably get a biscuit on the side just to enjoy on its own or with butter and jam.
