Great fish shack! We sat on the patio in the shade by the marsh and were very comfortable. Not too hot and not too buggy. The cornbread is sweet and tasty. The beer is ice cold. We had fried mushrooms and She Crab Soup for Apps,both were really good. We each had the same entree, crab stuffed flounder. This was no crab stuffing with breadcrumbs, the entire rolled stuffing was seasoned, fresh crab meat! With a loaded baked potato and grilled veggies, they were spectacular dinners!. read more

Several choices in seafood. Food has probably been the best seafood we have had in the Beaufort area. Service great! We have always eaten on the patio next to where everyone hangs out to wait, but would love to have a water view, away from the noise of those waiting. read more

Food was delicious as usual. We sat at the bar and were able to order the full menu which was nice. Our bartender/server Mike was a little too much, preferred the respectful way of the lady bartenders instead. We will return next time we visit Beaufort from Maryland. read more

went for dinner with my husband Friday night. Sat at the inside bar. our bartender was Victoria. Took her awhile to get us drinks which should have been a sign. we ordered our food. I told her I wanted my salmon well done, I knew by her quickness to dismiss me that she wasn't really listening. Our dinners came out and the salmon was not cooked right! sent it back. I told my husband to go ahead and eat. I sat and waited, and waited . my husband was just about finished and I told Victoria to forget about my meal. She insisted and went back to see what was the deal. Finally I got my dinner but by then I was not interested. while I waited she ask me if I would like another drink, I said yes as I was sitting there with no meal. So our night night was ruined. BTW the gentleman next to us his order was messed up too by Victoria. the only thing she didn't mess up on was the bill, gottta get those tips right! read more

Great local seafood! The restaurant is VERY popular but there's a beautiful dock to walk around and games outside while you wait for a table. We got takeout and it was well packages and ready to go when promised. Delicious!!! read more

We got a table right away and the service was great. The food was as advertised. Definitely left full. Highly recommend you make a point to eat here if you visit Hilton Head. Even if you need to wait, the view over the marsh at sunset is breathtaking. read more

The talk of the town for seafood and scenery! I ordered the seafood pasta linguine, chicken tenders for the tot and my husband ordered the Captain's Platter with corned bread and hush puppies for appetizers. We def will be back again and will recommend this restaurant for amazing views and great food. read more

Typical marina seafood restaurant- good with a lot of seafood options and a full bar. Captains Platter was filling and offered a great variety. It's right on the water with a huge parking lot and large dining area. Nice locals atmosphere. Bartenders were great. read more

We went to this place last night. Love the view and the drinks were affordable. We really liked the steamed shrimp. Can't go wrong! I had the swordfish which was almost 2 inches thick and very juicy. Fried green tomatoes were very good. The scallops in a brown sauce was ver good. Save room for dessert. The key lime pie was delicious Definitely a must see place in Beaufort. read more

The wait is way too long for average good. They do not cook with fresh ingredients. The shrimp taste frozen and the oysters on halfshells did not have that fresh ouster taste. The fried green tomatoes were delicious. The picata tasted like we got it at Olive garden. The staff was friendly. I would not wait for a table here again. read more

Wow! Had one of the best salads ever. My salad had salmon perfectly cooked with a light bourbon sauce. Salad had tons of fresh strawberries and veggies. Wonderful poppyseed dressing and a yummy square of fried goat cheese. Also started with delicious corn bread. Husband had same salad with shrimp and he loved his. May be back tomorrow. read more

Stopped here on a whim while traveling through on a road trip. By 4:20 it was already packed from a 4:00 opening. Fortunately we were greeted by courteous staff and got right in. The food came out quickly and was delicious. The Dockside Dinner was awesome. Food amount was perfect. Recommend to anyone who loves a low boil. read more

Great food, Lobster really good, moist. Swordfish a little dry, had to drown it in butter. Coleslaw good, potatoes small, but adequate. Vegetables crisp, tender; just right. Real butter & sour cream offered. Alcoholic beverages: Moscow Mule-not enough ginger. Marguerita just right, good salt & enough tequila. I have never had a bad meal here. I have lived here since 2018 and this is our "go to" restaurant when tourists are not in town. Chis " the bartender" has a "Kodak" memory for the returning customer's and is totally focused on customer service. read more

The outside looks like a ocean-side seafood restaurant - lots of stylish aged wood and well maintained. Liked it so much we came back a second time. Full bar seating inside with many booths and tables. Could easily accommodate 15 person groups. After sitting down, they brought out corn bread and cinnamon(?) butter. Steaming hot and very soft. Our waitress was friendly and fast. Our drinks and food arrived quickly. The fish and fries were served hot. The battered fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Fish was flavorful, very tender and the breading held it together. Vegetables were served steamed and were firm and fresh. Definitely plan to return here when in the area. read more
