Stopped in for breakfast on this beautiful Sunday morning and had a great meal! Only had to wait about 10 minutes and we were sat right near the railing so we could see the bay, it has a great view of the bay and is so nice to see the boats and jet skis go by, all the summer fun is happening down near the dockside kitchen. I had the regular brioche French toast and it was delicious, comes with a lot of fruit on top so I was able to share that with my toddler. I also had a yummy glass of iced coffee, perfectly brewed. I had been eyeing this place up for quite awhile and it did not disappoint at all. I loved the out door seating with plenty of good people / boat watching, it is a great location. I have never had a worse breakfast experience than this place. We showed up with a party of 8 after we called ahead and a young man told us it would be ten minutes. 45 minutes later we got seated. The view is beautiful outside but that does not make up for the disgusting food and Terrible service. We ordered the food and five minutes later the waitress told us they were out of bacon. 9 AM on Monday of Memorial Day weekend and you are out of bacon!!? Fast forward to the dishes, one came out. Then two more. Then ten minutes later two more came out. We were sitting waiting letting our food get cold while out other friends were waiting for theirs. The dishes were ALL WRONG. no cheese on omelette, egg whites instead of regular eggs, greasy food. They took back one plate they forgot cheese on and brought it back with cold sprinkled cheese on top. We had to send three plates back. Will not be back. Sharon has too many businesses right now and it is showing. She should focus on one business venture at a time. read more

We went for brunch and had a most enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant is located on the dock, as the name states. It's enclosed with exposed a pretty scenic view of the bay where we watched jet skiing. It's also very pleasantly furnished. The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, our nice server, Heather had perfect timing, we felt well taken care of. The food was amazing and looked like it was a poster from Food Network. A view like no other and a menu with something for everyone. Dockside is a real gem in Ocean City. Even if you're stopping by for a quick coffee, their indoor coffee bar is a treat. Dockside Kitchen is a great find in Ocean City. Dockside Kitchen is located by the bay where you can eat on the deck by the docks. I decided to choose the avocado toast with coffee. The avocado was very soft, fresh and creamy. The toast was a thicker toast to hold the avocado on top of it. The serving size was large for breakfast so expect to bring some home. The views are stunning & you get to watch boats come in and out of the docks. The food, service and staff were great and I cannot wait to return to try something else on the menu. read more

The wife and I dined at Dockside Kitchen for her birthday breakfast on 7/17/2018. We arrived early and was able to grab a seat at the bar area right on the bay. Due to the fact that they are a relatively new establishment, I was basing my expectations on the very few reviews, and Instagram. Based on some Instagram photos, my wife and I pre-selected our entrees prior to arriving at the restaurant; avocado toast and crab-cake benedict respectively. I started to waiver once I had the opportunity to glance over the menu. I started to lead towards the lobster benedict, but I become wary about ordering benedicts, or brunch items in general, when the dish contains lobster because establishments tend to get stingy and/or the dish is extremely over-priced. Our waitress persuaded me to go with the lobster benedict and neither she or the dish disappointed. This was probably the second time my brunch lobster entrée lived up to my expectations. I was eating chucks of lobster even though most of the benedict was eaten. Just when you thought a perfect poached egg, a top chucks of lobster couldn't get any better. Bam...the bacon, a braised tomato took it to the next level. The rosemary potatoes were not an after thought. They were cooked perfect texture and seasoned perfectly. My wife felt the kitchen could have been just as generous with the crab, as they were with the lobster. Outside of that she thought her Avocado toast was a decent entrée and she truly enjoyed it. We returned a few days later for lunch with our twins, and her parents. The in-laws ordered salmon salads which looked okay. They enjoyed them but I think my father in-law would probably order something else next time based on what he saw coming out of the kitchen. I contemplated trying another eggs-benedict, but settled for the crab cake sandwich instead. There was a decent quantity and quality of crabmeat that left me extremely satisfied with the sandwich I consumed. The wife decided to go with the smoked salmon sandwich with bacon onion jam and she loved it. Whether its breakfast or lunch, its seems you can't go wrong ordering anything on this menu. Great atmosphere! 3 of us ordered the lobster beni...we were really looking forward to it and were all disappointed. If you eat eggs Benny and love it, than you know your egg should be poached and runny. These were served well done, not runny at all. The hollandaise sauce wasn't awesome either. They gave you plenty lobster, but regardless, I didn't think it was worth the price. I would say mediocre at best. Order something else. Otherwise, service was excellent. read more

First time in OC and my fiancé and i decided to stop here for lunch on our second day here. We both had the lobster roll and it was AMAZING. It was packed with lobster! Our waitress was a young local who was working during the summer before returning to college. The staff was exceptional and was on top of us the entire time. My only complaint is not about the restaurant or staff, but about another diner who was sitting next to us. She was AWFUL. So incredibly rude and entitled. She was so nasty to her waitress i felt horrible for the waitress! She gave the waitress less than a 10% tip, for no reason at all...so my fiancé and i gave the waitress who helped her the extra money to make sure she got a fair 20%. She didn't do anything wrong! That woman was just a nightmare and if i wasn't on vacation and trying to relax - i would have said something to that woman. Going to come back without a doubt! This place was great for breakfast! Seated outside with a BEAUTIFUL dockside view. Waitress was super nice, and food was great. Seating outside was a little tight but everyone there was friendly so it wasn't bad. I would DEFINITELY recommend and will be back. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a BLT. I got home-fries as a side and OH MY GOODNESS they were perfectly crispy and had a touch of rosemary which made them so addicting. My boyfriend didn't even want his fries anymore he wanted my home-fries! Their mugs are adorable and they have them for sale. Great place for the family. The coffee knocked my socks off- very rich, strong and flavorful. Definitely the best basic coffee in the OC. The prices are a little steep- but there was no skimping on any of it. I've never had that much lobster in any single dish! Simply and utterly my best food experience in Ocean City New Jersey. They were also open when the majority of stores are closed in the fall. Just tried this place for the first time and I thought the food was very fresh and delicious. Even though the prices are very steep for breakfast, I thought it was worth it considering their upscale menu. I can't speak for the other menu items, but I got the short rib Benedict and they gave a good amount of short rib which balanced out the cost. My brother got the lobster Benedict and they gave him a TON of lobster. The only thing I could say is the homefries (even though they were clearly fresh potatoes and delicious) were a little undercooked, so next time I'll ask them to be well-done. I also thought the coffee was too strong for my taste, but if I had noticed that it was Drip and Scoop brand i would never have gotten it. That's just a preference thing though. read more

I almost ate here with my boyfriend because it looked like it had potential. Unfortunately, we decided to leave before the server could put in our drinks. The outside of the restaurant looks decent but you have to walk through these confusing lines between the restaurant and a kiddie play area by the dock to get a seat. This play area is located in the water on an inflatable water park attraction so there are wet children running and screaming everywhere. The tables were packed in tight on this dock and the hostess sat us in the back of the dining area where it smelled like urine. Then when we were given the menu, we saw that they were trying to charge us $18 for 2 tacos. After all of these factors were considered, we decided to leave before we wasted our money. read more

Definately my favorite breakfast places in ocean city. My friend showed me this place on a sunny Saturday afternoon and loved it ever since. Ive taken my husband and family there to show them my favorite dishes. I definately recommend their fish and chips, and their benedicts. I am ultra picky with my fish and chips because I dont like a lot of them but this one was good. Their short rib benedict was to die for and comparable to sheas. Parking is easy because they get their own parking lot but it can get crowded during the summer months. read more
