Otherwise it was a solid 4. Horseradish, cucumber vodka, (ONE OF MY FAVS), lemon, lime - I added ground pepper and Tabasco. Delish. The rest of the food, it is what it is. They customized what we wanted and were very gracious about it. Generally I don't expect places to mess up a basic breakfast and VRs didn't. It was fresh, hot and as ordered. Well done. The coffee was topped off continually and the server checked in on us enough to be accommodating but not hovers at all. She was super sweet. We will be back, I'd love to try their dinner. Hot, thick, briney, and delicious; full of lobster and scallops. True New England seafood perfection!! She had the Broiled Cod, and I the Broiled Scallops. Both were absolute perfection as well (I think we found a new go-to place at the landings)! A teeny bit off of the beaten path, but so worth it! Glad we finally did it! We just wanted a light snack because it was a little late in the day. A friendly woman (who I believe was an owner) was training someone and recommended the tuna sashimi dinner. We got that and a cup of their amazing clam chowder and it was perfect. The fish was fresh as was the rice and salads. Later in the week we returned for fried clams, scallops, and a fish dinner which were equally perfect. See you next year!

We ate on the patio on a high top table near a screen window, which was lovely. The biggest advantage over Arnold's is that the joint is BYOB. That's a rare thing in the Cape. The fried cod was flaky, lightly coated, and perfectly fried with an abundant amount of homemade French fries, a roll, and standard fare Cole Slaw. The roll is unnecessary, in my opinion. Missing having onion rings on the menu. Arnold's (and the old Liam's at Nauset Beach) made the best. Condiments are serve-yourself, but you'll have to ask the host for lemon slices. We'll return for fried food but will continue to search other locales. We went back the next night for ice cream and it was just average. $5 for a small scoop in a bowl, we were charged more for a small sundae than what was advertised on the board, and service was very slow. However, the sundae hit the spot and they didn't skimp on the hot fudge and walnuts.

Zack and George, just the best! Wonderful service!! The prices are spot on too. It may look like a typical New England Pub/Tavern burger joint, but it is so much more than that. For dinner, my husband had the salmon special, coated in pistachios and cooked beautifully. I ordered the shrimp and scallop fra diavolo, which was delicious -- generous portions, perfectly cooked seafood, and a sauce with just the right amount of heat.
