So far every place we have eaten around here has been good. Mac's really great. Rainy chilly afternoon, we went for Early dinner. Melissa was wonderful to us. We had a nice long meal. Sat under the tent and they put on the heaters. Started with a margarita and dirty martini, shishito peppers and steamers. The steamers were so tender and fresh. Then had crunchy crab roll sushi. So good. Finished with lobster bisque and fried oysters. The oysters were DELICIOUS!! Lobster bisque okay. Could have had a few more slivers of lobster. Great meal. Great service.

What a find in the picturesque outskirts of a little town called Chatham. This whole area reminded me of home (Ireland) with restaurants dotted along the coast This one was no exception, stunning location. Most people were eating outside in the many areas available, one under a tent, one at the outside bar & oyster shucking are, one in the inside/outside porch area. They have a big parking lot and they had a lot of customers. No wonder, the food & oysters were top notch for a lovely lunch. My lobster roll was overflowing with goodness. It was so much food but boy was it good. I loved s everything about this set up. The staff were busy but super helpful efficient and courteous. Lunch was fast and delicious just like we wanted as we meandered our way up the back roads to Ptown. Do not miss this fabulous spot.

One of the best, most reliable places on the outer Cape. The place is even better since Covid started with the addition of a huge wedding banquet type tent so folks can eat outside and most people do. The food - mostly fish- is super fresh, portions are filling and eating here is fulfilling. Fav dishes: seafood pasta, crispy scallops on risotto (special), crispy crusted bluefish and of course, fabulous oysters and large shrimp. The downside can be long waits as no reservations accepted and bring bug spray as sometimes the bugs are biting! Those who know know all the Mac's are different and this one is the best in my book.

Lives up to all the hype! Had my first oysters there, and they did not disappoint! Food is spectacular! Lobster panini was great as well!

C'est excellent! Our large group enjoyed happy hour several times over the Dec/Jan holiday break…read more On our first visit, 5 of us wandered in looking for a few drinks and appetizers. For our second visit, our group expanded to 10; mostly drinks and appys, our proto-adult kids ordered dinner. (They're no fools, Dad was paying). As we were leaving, that second time, we reserved a table for the next night. Our group expanded to over15 for our third visit. Here's where I have to tell you - the staff were amazing! Friendly, calm, fast, and flexible with our expanding group. The food and drinks were all excellent. The raw oysters could only have been fresher if we'd been on the boat. Should you find yourself in the area, you'd do well to visit The Wicked Oyster.

Sometimes I struggle with the limitations of star-rating when writing Yelp reviews. I teeter-totter…read morebetween 3 and 4...4 and 5...and wish that I could award half stars; that I could hedge my bets and half commit. That was not the case with The Wicked Oyster. On a chilled November evening, my family tucked ourselves into the warmth of The Wicked Oyster for a meal we're already reminiscing about only 24-hours later. Chosen for their namesake, we ordered six raw oysters upon arrival. This was my mom and brother's first raw oyster, and they became converts upon first slurp. Though I know they're spoiled to have such exceptional oysters as their first, I don't begrudge them the experience. That initial serving of oysters went down with such rave reviews, we were left with no other choice but to expedite a repeat order. To start, I crunched on the Little Gem Salad and dreamt of slathering every meal in it's sherry mustard vinaigrette. It was just the thing to occupy my mind and palate in anticipation of the main course. Diagnosed with a "Hankering For Red Meat," I chose the 8oz Hanger Streak (pictured.) If I could pen this entry in drool, I would. The meal was sublime on every count. I wanted to linger, to draw out the night as long as possible. But all good things must come to and end, and so must our night at The Wicked Oyster. Played out by a live cellist (!), we floated to the car with leftovers in hand, dreaming of a restaurant like this at home, while thankful for the preservation of memory. The Wicked Oyster will live on in our minds, hearts, and stomachs for years to come...
