Love this place - quintessential beach-oriented general store where I used to buy cigarettes for my father. Still the same old Landing.

Absolutely terrific fried cod fillet sandwich. Very fresh and lightly breaded. Great value. That is all we tried but we were delighted.

Our subs lasted us for 2 days of beach lunch, (I had an Italian - yum!) they had plenty of chips and other sides to choose from, and the chocolate chip cookies were excellent. Sandwiches were ready quickly and they had a bit of nice outdoor seating. I'd come back here on a Cape trip in a heartbeat!

They are…read morestarting to fill the sandwich with all the other nonsense and leave off most of the meat portion. At the same time charging more. The second problem is their ordering system. They have a line for ordering and a line for paying. But they don't let you pay until your sandwich is done. So when it's busy what happens is your sandwich is done and then you have to get in a long line and wait when you could've been paid and out of there. Only way to counter this is to order online which you don't always think to do. Annoying problem that could easily be solved with common sense. There's also always like 15 people working and they still take a while to make your sandwich even if they're mildly busy. Then, like everyone else they flip around the iPad on you and ask you for a 25% tip while people are behind you in line also waiting for their sandwiches that have been sitting there for 10 minutes

I bought two four packs of high noons, which, I believe were 11.99 each, but I wound up being charged a total of $63.98. Very disappointing. Idk if it was just a simple mistake or it's a scam they're running, but I figured I'd put it out here on Yelp incase it happens to anyone else.

Ordered online , arrived 15 mins after the ready time. There is a note on the order system that gives your the helpful reminder you don't need to go to the deli counter to pick it up - they will have it ready at the register. I went to the register and the clerk was young - not sure where to look for the order and I was kind and patient an said ok - he said the deli lady would be back in just a moment to assist. I waited by the counter and saw no one there as 2 other people showed up to make an order themselves. A few moments later a woman arrives and immediately curtly says "I have it but you could have asked them (the counter staff) for it" ... her tone and attitude was not like oh hey did you know next time you can ask them ? It was like DID YOU GET THE MEMO SIS?! I responded politely that I had indeed seen the clerk first and she repeated what I just said and I don't know why but I apologized... ? I don't blame the counter staff - they were young, likely new and trying not to mess up. She was downright Rudy Huxtable RUDE. they don't need my business by any means but I really love to contribute to the vendor in my own town versus schlepping uptown here or there for a decent sandwich- but I'm not going to be rushing back here for a repeat of that experience. I give 3 stars because I have a longer history than this encounter and I'm hoping it was an off day for all but compelled enough to write about it is enough I'd say ...

Cibo Italian Kitchen & Market - Prosciutto de Parma Panini.

On our way up the Cape for a little lighthouse-hopping adventure, we made a lunchtime stop at Cibo,…read moreand wow--this place is the real Italian deal. The second I walked through the door, I knew we were in for something authentic. The air was filled with the unmistakable smell of fresh sauce, garlic, and quality ingredients. The vibe? Warm, casual, and confidently no-frills in the best way. When my boyfriend's mom asked for mayo and was kindly offered a side of house-made marinara instead, we knew we had struck Italian gold. I ordered the Caprese panini, and while I didn't love the bread at first glance, it surprised me--it was light enough to let the real stars shine: creamy, fresh mozzarella and that incredible homemade pesto. I actually finished the whole sandwich (a rare feat when most leave me full of nothing but bread). My boyfriend (and his parents) devoured their sandwiches without a word, leaving only a few crumbs and a slightly smug expression. We also split an arancini ball for just $5--and it was hefty. Flavorful and golden, though the cheese inside could've used a bit more melt inside. Still worth it, especially at that price. Cibo offers both made-to-order paninis and a full spread of pre-prepared Italian dishes that looked straight out of Nonna's kitchen. Think: lasagna, pastas, cold salads, and a take-and-bake section with house-made pasta and sauces. The gourmet coffee bar smelled like heaven and used fresh ingredients--no plastic creamer pods in sight. Even the dessert case looked like it had stories to tell. Aside from some Cape Cod chips and bottled Coke, everything here felt distinctly and proudly Italian. This is a spot that knows exactly what it is and does it well. 10/10 would detour for this place again.

Upon entry, I was surprised at how small the location was. I thought it would be bigger...but that is not a big deal. I entered in the front door and immediately made it to the side where the sandwiches were being ordered. One register and approximately 5 workers making sandwiches at a rapid pace. We ordered two sandwiches.....one was a chicken with garlic and herb spread and the second was a Roast beef with mustard and pickle on a sub roll. After paying, we waited for them to call our number. It was a good chance to browse the rest of the store. The meat section looked awesome....lots to choose from and the presentation was right-on! I did see the pies, which I read about, but we did not buy one. I am a big fan of apple pie so it took a lot to keep moving past the stacks of pies! There were many choices of craft beers throughout the store, as well. Our number was called in about 8-10 minutes, which is very reasonable considering how busy the store was. We went outside to eat at one of the many picnic tables. It was a beautiful day to enjoy a sandwich in such a great setting. The chicken with garlic and herb spread was first. I was not happy because I am not a fan of pesto. It was not what i thought I was getting. It was probably my own fault so there was not much I could do! We moved on to the Roast beef sub, which was excellent....great bread, Boars Head meat and just the right amount of yellow mustard Price was to be expected Parking was fine Service was on-time I gave 4 stars because I thought it would be better! Maybe I expected to much but 4 stars is not a big score....maybe next time I will return and get the apple pie, which will add another star! To be continued.......
