It makes cutting breads really smooth and easy to cut very thin slices. It is apparently their best bread knife, and at $150, I think the price is right. Despite being on Beacon Hill, I don't feel that their prices are high or unreasonable, but just right. The store is fun to browse through for many other kitchen or cooking supplies or gifts. As a well-stocked mom and pop store it has that quality of surprise at finding something you never thought about. The personnel is also very helpful.
