An absolute must when in Pittsburgh! I came here on a casual Saturday afternoon with a friend, and we had no trouble finding a table. We opted to share a mezze platter of two dips - baba ghanoush and Muhammara. It came with pita bread, and was absolutely delicious (and surprisingly so filling)! We also shared a pistachio rose pastry which was nutty and flavorful. Everything was paired with a large pot of Burmese green tea, which ended up being about three cups of tea per person. The ambience was wonderful and the service was good. Will definitely be recommending Dobra tea to everybody who stops by Pittsburgh.

What a cute place! It feels like you're transported to Morocco when you come here. They have a really large selection of teas and they're all really cool! I really liked the mint teas they offer and they serve it Moroccan style with sugar in it. Love all the cool teapots and cups. Staff is nice here and accommodated us even though we showed up pretty late. They open till 10 pm at night which is cool. The seating is really nice inside. It's kinda funny people watching here since it's a lot of young college kids on dates.

Lovely place to hang out and drink good tea. Their catalogue is almost endless and I would like to try all of the teas someday! I had the chai and it was a perfect mix of flavors. Staff was very kind.

Phenomenal as in it really is one of a kind here LOL. First off, the decorations/vibes of this place transports you to like a new world -- but a confused world LMAO-- japanese decorations on the walls and asian style seating but indian style rugs and etc etc LOL Tea is absolutely delicious. Chai chai chai & bombay chai were amazing and so soothing. Got the earl grey lemon sandwich cookie, comes in a set of 2-- quite small but very delicious esp paired with the teas. Teas do come piping hot tho ill have to say HAHA, took me a couple of minutes to be able to hold it up but my gf has mom hands so she was ok. Studyable if you get a table --2 people per but more yappable brunch tea sesh if you get a on the ground table-- fits like 4-5.

    Bombay chai!

I go to Dobra when I want to treat myself. One pot of tea and a sweet treat in the eclectic atmosphere is enough to turn around an afternoon. The staff try to be helpful, and you'll meet an interesting cross section of Pittsburgh there.

Dobra is a cozy tea house that has such a huge collection of teas. We had a masala chai, peach cobbler chai, almond butter brownie, and dolmades. I loved the ambiance and variety of teas available, but would not recommend getting food there. I wasn't impressed by the quantity for the prices (3 dolmas and a tiny brownie), and the dolma didn't taste fresh. For service if you're dining in, you ring the bell on your table. In theory, this is a nice concept so you can take your time with ordering, but there was a time when I wasn't sure if our waiter could hear us ringing it or knew who had rung a bell. The tea was excellent though.

I thought I had left a review here long back but must not have. My sister got me to really like Dobra. The 5 is honestly and mainly for its overall feel and vibe of the restaurant. It's usually busy when I go, so I unfortunately miss out on sitting in the comfy, lounge area. Luckily, the tea and good made up for it !!!! I ordered: (1.) THAI ICED TEA - truly fresh ingredients and delicious (2.) GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH WITH TOMATO SOUP DIP SAUCE - OMG ! Heavenly ! Have yet to have a sandwich this decadent and deliciously made. The kettle cooked chips are crispy and yummy to dip in the tomato soup dip. (3.) TEA CAKE - I can not recall the flavor, but it was really yummy and NOT overly sweet. (4.) HUMMUS - ALWAYS a healthy side treat. I always come back so not to worry because I will be back !!!!!

I love everything about this tea shop. A great place to study, play cards, catch up with friends, or read. Cozy vibes. They have so many options for tea! I had the Marsala Rooibos with oat milk and an iced butterfly kiss. Both were delicious. Friendly staff. I was visiting for the week and came 4 times while I was there. If I lived in Pittsburgh I would definitely be a regular. They have some snack items food wise as well. All around super cool spot in Squirrel Hill!

Three teas. The one that looks like a beer is an IPA tea! Who knew?

4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here. Skip to the end to see my rating scale. To put this in perspective, I'm not a tea guy at all. Despite being white collar I very much have blue collar sensibilities. So I'm a beer and black coffee sort of fella. With that in mind, I really loved this place. They have neither tea nor beer, but what I very much appreciate about Dobra is their welcoming service and their knowledge of their product. Our server might have been the best I've ever had at any establishment. She really knew her stuff and could describe the flavors you could expect from the pretty impressive encyclopedia of teas that were available. Our party got three that were all pretty different and her descriptions of each were right on. More importantly, all three were excellent. Now, I am pretty out of place in such a venue, but we were treated like gold by everyone there. I thoroughly enjoyed my drink, the friendly vibe, and all despite being an atmosphere that's outside of my comfort zone. So even though I'd typically hang out at a coffee shop if I was working remotely for a morning, I would gladly hang out at Dobra every now and then even though it's a 45 minute drive from home. My rating scale: 1 - Just don't 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 4 - I'd drive 30 minutes out of my way just to come here 5 - I'd try to convince my wife to drive an hour just to come here

A cute, small business with a wonderful assortment of teas, small plates & a cozy ambience . Laptop friendly. A tad pricey but worth it.

The ambiance is perfect whether you just want to relax drink tea and chat or need to get work done! They have a lot of vegan options for food and snacks! Can be a little pricey but the tea IS ABSOLUTELY worth it! The staff are consistent and are very friendly and work very hard to create a pleasant experience for everyone. Weekends get really busy but overall great shop.

A very cute little spot good for hanging out, having a little treat, and trying something new! I've been to Dobrá a handful of times over the years and always find myself satisfied with my choices. Things I like: - the ambiance is super cozy! A great place to study, perfect for catching up with old friends, they have board games and zines and the actual seating is very comfortable! - The earl grey cookie (pictured) is so good! Looking at them I thought they'd be crunchy, but was surprised and delighted with how soft the cookie is! The filling is sweet and smooth but the cookie maintains a floral and slightly bitter flavor that compliments the filling. They come in twos which is perfect for sharing :) - The jasmine lemonade is a go to for me. So floral and refreshing, not too sour at all, lightly sweet and just the best little treat. I'm not even a lemonade girlie at all but I can't recommend enough! - Great retail space. Fun to look at while you wait for your to-go order. Things I'm not crazy about: - To get it out of the way, it is expensive. For two drinks and 2 small cookies it cost over $20. Not necessarily prohibitive, but not in my regular rotation. I've had a similar quality of flavor in both tea and baked goods for cheaper in the city. - Wait times are long (BUT this is to be expected due to the process of brewing the tea) something to consider if you want to just pop in and out. I would recommend staying and hanging out and enjoying the space if there's room! - I was surprised by the lack of flavor in their masala chai. For the price and time I expected it to be more flavorful, but it tasted completely comparable to getting a cheap bagged tea. Mostly like warm slightly sweet milk. Overall, I'd recommend! They have a really interesting and delicious food and tea menu. If you're just a casual tea drinker it may not be worth the price point to try more than once, but maybe the cute space will bring you back :)

Ladies and gentlemen. The Queen of Pittsburgh tea. Dobra. Hands down best service and tea experience ever. The folks here not only know their stuff but are kind and willing to help you learn more about tea. I will say the menu can be overwhelming for even an experienced tea drinker. It's literally a binder folks. But the Dobra team will chat to you about your preferences and help you narrow in on a tea of your liking. Everything I've ever tried pastry or tea wise has been either a slam dunk or at least an experience I'm glad I tried. For the vegan, non dairy folk this is a good spot to find snacks that you can actually eat. I will say the hotcha (rosemary) and baba ghanoush is my favorite menu staples. And I'm always leaving with baklava. Always. Side note, this place has vibes on vibes on vibes. The seating arrangements are unique and you should experience it for yourself.

matcha latte wasn't the bright green vibrant color and only tasted like milk

When I came to Pitt, it became routine that I grabbed a bubble tea once a week before class or as a treat on the weekends. I am always sure to stop in and grab my favorite drink if I am in the area. Not only are the workers super friendly, but the drinks are delicious and consistently good. I love the bright interior of the shop and that there is inside seating, so you can enjoy your drink inside (especially during the colder months in PA). My go-to order is a black iced tea lemonade with strawberry flavor and lychee popping boba, but there are so many flavor options that you can really mix it up based on your personal preference. Its location on Forbes Ave makes it fairly easy to get to, especially if you are a student living on Pitt's campus. Do yourself a favor and grab a bubble tea if you are ever in the area!

The inside is small with not a ton of seating so keep that in mind for big groups. There's a table for 8, four chairs next to the window with a narrow table, and a long bench to sit at. We ordered our boba and pearls were really soft and chewy. My friend's mango slushie was really refreshing and I liked my taro boba.
