We had a lovely visit to Uniquely Yours. The tea itself was lovely and there was so many to choose from. The food was fresh and tasty and the music was perfect. We had a very pleasant time.

If you have never been to this Tea Room, do yourself and your best friend/mother/aunt a huge favor and call for the next reservation. The house itself is beautiful, inside and out. Even those of us who are not Victorian fans can appreciate the care taken to make every aspect of the dining room feel special. The tea and food were amazing! My dear friend and I had the crème brûlée tea and did our best to eat the scones, tea sandwiches, cookies and fruit, but still each brought several things home. The owner has lovely gift items for sale, including some beautiful dresses. Overall, just a wonderful experience that I plan to repeat.

I kinda violated the dress code, but at least I didn't get tossed put before I finished my scone LOL

This is an awesome place kinda out in the country and seriously worth the lovely drove through the country side.We arrived 20 before the hour and waited a few minutes for the doors to open. The drive, the wait and all is a small investment for a big payoff. My daughter has been here before and wanted to treat us to this special "Royal Tea" and it is really, really special indeed. The property and exterior of the home has been meticulous done with great attention to detail and that seriously carries over into everything that you encounter here. There a duck fountain and gargoyle street lamp just outside the entrance bit couldn't prepare me for the eloquently adorned and truly "unique" rxpansive interior that is practically museum quality furnishings and decorations everywhere. First of all we were escorted to out very pretty round table adorned with beiatifil fresh flowers, silver and individually unique tea cups. We were shown a large 6' cabinet filled with small canisters of various teas. We're given hints and ideas then told we can open & smell them to settle in the two teas we'd like to have for our afternoon tea. Our table already had 4 setups with lemon water in antique looking glasses. We chose two teas that came out in large ornate ceramic pots and our hostess poured each of us our first cups then placed the on gold heaters. The sweetener available was cubed of cane sugar that melted instantly in the piping hottea, both delicious. Next out come two identical three level towers of total goodness that has two of each of the selections. On the bottom is warm delightful quiche, a pastry sandwich that is made with file pastry, pear & fig plus a chicken salad filled croissant. Next level has a heavenly pumpkin pudding, chocolate covered strawberry, a frosted confection topped with a rose hip and a super rich frosted cookie and the top tier has a large delicious scone with a glass of crème fraîche that is light & a perfect topping and a small bunch of confection dusted grapes. OMG, everything was absolutely mouth watering and delicious from the first to last bites and of course the tea was the perfect pairing (we got two more pots of tea). We rang the ornate little bell on the table and our hostess appeared right away and brought us refills on our waters. There were older couples, young mothers with their daughters and a couple small groups of ladies that made up an eclectic mix of other lucky people enjoying this special tea room. Bottom line: While I uploaded a lot of gorgeous pictures, trust me, it is even better than it looks. This is a really unique and special experience with delicious Michelin Star restaurant quality food, stunning surroundings & of course excellent yea. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you Catherine O.

We held a baby shower here and it was perfect. We had 35 people, but the capacity is 50. The food is incredible, the owner's attention to detail is phenomenal. You can hold a private party here or come with a friend for a quiet tea. We will be back!

If you want a unique but traditional afternoon tea experience, you need to visit The Van Horne!…read more Their food is all locally sourced, and I am sure all delicious. I had their potato soup, which was incredible, the steamed broccoli with cheese which was good, and the Tea for Two with a friend. We got to try their day-old strawberry scones and their raspberry scones of the day (which, by the way, I would not have know which was old and which was not if we hadn't been told). Each of us got to choose 3 sandwiches, which I have not experienced before but appreciated, and I enjoyed all 3 of my cucumber sandwiches. We also each got to choose our own quiche slice from the two daily flavors. I really did appreciate how each person could get exactly what they wanted while still having a full tea experience. The nut rolls and Mexican wedding cookies were also yummy and I wish I could have had more. Each of us got to choose our own tea as well, which is pretty typical, although not every place allows that. They had a huge menu to choose from, and the best part is that you can also order any of their teas to go in a tin to make your own at home. They even have some more unique flavors, such as some oolong varieties. The service is a bit slow, but everyone, from the owners to the servers, is so sweet, so you can't really complain. We had Emma as our server and she did not steer us wrong with recommendations we asked for and was able to tell us all about what we were getting. She is such a joy and in a great role. The ambiance is also unique. It feels like you are either in an antique store or old Victorian house. It really does look like an afternoon tea place. You do need a reservation, especially on a weekend. The space isn't huge and they do not have a huge staff, and you can tell they like to make sure they are prepared so it can be a relaxing, special experience, whether having tea or anything else they offer. I would recommend making a trip out here, and this is a definite stop any time I am in the area moving forward!

Our server told us the specials of the day and told us about the tea. The restaurant is decorated so cute. Old fashioned and fun. We ordered the afternoon tea for 2. We also had a cup of potato soup as a starter. The lovely owner came over to check in. She is so sweet. We will definitely be returning for another meal.

You'll feel relaxed before you even grab that cup to drink. You could spend a long time reading the tea menu. Coffee is a little bit frowned upon here. Other beverages such as juices and coffees are also available. In addition, customers may make a reservation for afternoon tea, which for adults includes a choice of a pot of tea as well as a three-tier stand of finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries. The foods and price vary for children aged 12 and under. The bistro's menu lists foods such as quiche, avocado toast, fruit bowls, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, flatbreads, wraps, paninis, salads, quesadillas, smoothies, and milkshakes. A freezer contains about a dozen flavors of gelatos. Furthermore, shelves feature merchandise such as bags of teas, teapots, mugs, t-shirts, earrings, etcetera. My husband and I ate one breakfast here. An employee immediately and kindly greeted us. We placed our order at the cash register and then sat at a table of our choosing. Some tables were already reserved for the afternoon tea. I ate Baked French Toast (5 stars), which consisted of a brioche with custard, cinnamon, sugar, strawberry sauce, peaches, blueberries, raspberries, and banana slices. I drank a Masala Chai Tea (4.5 stars). My husband ate the Loaded Breakfast Panini Wrap (3.5 stars), which contained scrambled eggs, potatoes, cheeses, avocado, sour cream, and salsa. The ingredients were separate, which he said looked pretty but tasted just OK. He used his utensil to try to mix the ingredients. He ate only half of it. He drank a Gelato Iced Chocolate (4.5 stars), a chilled hot chocolate with vanilla gelato and whipping cream on top. I also purchased a Dubai chocolate bar (4.5 stars) for about $20. It was not my all-time favorite Dubai chocolate, but it was a large size, and it tasted very good for being made in Pittsburgh. Note that private events such as birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, and bachelorette parties may also be held at The Steeping Leaf. Catering is also available.

It is by reservation only, which is done online and you pay online ahead of time as well, which makes for enjoyable experience the day of, not worrying about the check, tip, etc. You get unlimited tea, and there are hot and iced varieties. I started with the mango passion fruit green tea and then finished the experience with the iced raspberry hibiscus -- you can switch it up as much as you want. The savories consisted of a red pepper quiche, spinach artichoke cups, cucumber Boursin sandwiches and almond chicken salad croissants. The standard tea includes one scone per person and I highly recommend ordering extra -- they're phenomenal and are served with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Our desserts were a raspberry lemon pound cake, chocolate and vanilla macarons and a vanilla custard in a pie crust cup with a fresh raspberry on top. Everything was amazing and they rotate menus seasonally. Children are permitted but it's the same menu and price for them, just FYI. I'll definitely return and recommend to others for special occasions or no occasion at all.

Here are my reviews for my favorite Cherry Valley Organics products: Catnip - 5 stars - This catnip is certified USDA organic. The catnip is available as either fresh stems or as dried/grounded. My cats eat the catnip, roll around in it, smell it, and carry it around WAY more than they do with regular catnip. Zucchini - 5 stars - Their zucchini were a large size, were firm and fresh, and were very tasty. Bar soaps - 5 stars - Their soaps have scents such as chocolate-covered cherry cocoa and raspberry chocolate swirl! I also really enjoyed using the exfoliating lemon poppyseed soap. The soaps lather well, and they thoroughly and gently clean my skin. Lip balm - 5 stars - The scent that I ordered was orange, and the flavor was subtle. The balm moisturized my lips well. Some of their other products that I have bought include ground cherries, spearmint, arugula, salad mix, Swiss chard, stevia leaves, and edible flowers, and these were all a good quality.
