Some things were real vintage and some felt like new vintage inspired pieces because there would be ten of the same thing on a rack. I'd say the best section was the shoes, lots of Doc Martins, vans, and converse. This place is packed with stuff which makes it hard to move around and look through the racks. It was very busy so I guess other people like it but I don't consider this to be real thrifting. This is a curated vintage store and you pay the price for it.

Pricing was honestly very reasonable and I ended up leaving with a ton of great finds. The staff was super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and the space was larger than I initially thought it would be - there's a whole back room with even more great stuff. The only piece that got away was a beautiful 50's jacket that fit perfectly but I had already spent far more than I had originally intended. Hoping someone comes by and snags it up soon so I don't have to keep dreaming about it.

It's not just not inclusive sizing, it seemed intentionally petite. It felt aggressive to not include hardly any pieces in L or even a size 12 in this day and age. I was looking and ready to buy for an important occasion. I was really excited to explore the collection but with every flip of the coat rack, I felt a voice saying ' you don't belong here'. I expect more from an independent store in Brooklyn. I'm used to stores having limited stock but none at all was certainly a shock. More so, I wasn't given any attention by the person running the store I felt it was because it was clear I wouldn't fit into any of the garments. It was icy and I felt unwelcome in the space which is awkward because the space is small.

I had it IN MY HAND. One of the employees, who was styling another customer (the only other customer in the store), came over to me and GRABBED THE PIECE OUT OF MY HAND for the other customer to try on. I wish I was kidding. Despite this, I kept looking in the store -- which not to mention has the most absurd pricing, even for NYC standards. I went to pick up a pair of shoes when another employee grabbed a pair of shoes next to me, bumping into me -- all without acknowledgment. At this point I thought it was a skit. I had finished looking through the store, said thank you (also unacknowledged), and left feeling pretty bummed to say the least. I'm not one to write reviews but I've never felt so ignored/unvalued in a store (not to mention, a pricey store). I hate to talk badly on a small business, especially a woman-owned business. I am a vintage shopping lover and have had my fair share of sub-par shopping experiences, but this one takes the cake.
