Great antique store! It's not super huge, but I still spend a lot of time in here. Good (not huge) selection of clothes but they're all very cool pieces and it's definitely curated. Lots of other cool things throughout the store. Would recommend to any vintage shopper!

It's been many, many years since I visited this store (I think I may have bought a coffee table here many moons ago, but it's a good 30 minutes' stroll away) and it took THE LOCKDOWN to rediscover them. I started following them on Instagram- after noticing their daily posts on their vintage treasures for sale. The prices are always reasonable and the items are always unique. They offer curbside pickup after you pay online. I stopped by this week to pick up a a pair of vintage 80's Monet earrings I bought for $10. I'm not exactly sure when I'll be wearing them in my quarantine life but who doesn't need more costume jewelry from the garish 80's?I happened to spy a cool mid-century planter in the window so I ended up buying that too. I can't wait to check out their shop and vintage goodies IRL when they re-open.

I admit that I only come here for the four for a dollar photos. They are kept in an old wash bin in the back of the store. Today I realized that looking at them is like viewing my own family photos. I have gone through them so many times that I recognize the subjects. This one goes to the beach and that one goes to church. This little boy is a boyscout and his dad is in the military. These people enjoy family picnics and boating. There are also nice furniture items and some eclectic kitchenware. Today I saw 6 collectors plates from my home state of Tennessee. It was strange to see them in Brooklyn and I chose to leave them behind. Cash and carry items are always available outside the store. These are usually wooden chairs, mirrors, end tables and the like. If you enjoy antiques with a little dust and no pretension stop here and give it a whirl.

I'd bought my first "grown up" piece of furniture here (a sewing cabinet), after years of vagabonding and living in furnished places. But it's not about me, it's about you, and what you can find at this NYC-priced-but-not-BK-Flea-shameful-markup antique shop. It's worth a stroll past to look at the furniture and items they have displayed on the sidewalk: usually pieces like tables, chairs, various houseware, and storage options from the 50s-70s, sourced by the proprietor(s) from estate sales in the tri-state. Inside the shop, there's more furniture (bigger pieces like cabinets), jewelry, household items, and paper goods like cards and stamps. Some great things I've seen but not purchased: typewriters, a school desk with ironworked curlicue sides, a flashy 1970s vanity with a mirrored top, all the better for your extracurriculars. Closed on Mondays and sometimes during rainy or bad weather.

Jackpot. The prices are super reasonable. In fact I thought they'd be more expensive considering Brooklyn. I found a ton of bedroom furniture I wish I could lug on the plane ride home. Happily picked up a few vintage signs with awesome typography. Only $2 for 5! If I lived in town I'd visit frequently and develop a super dangerous habit.

Gorgeous Art Deco dresser in perfect shape I admired today ($200). If I needed a dresser I would have bought on the spot!

Pretty good prices and a lovely selection. I'm glad this small business is near my apartment. I…read morereally enjoy popping in for a look. I will coming back to again.

So I'm walking through Park Slope with my Dad after a lovely lunch on 5th Ave when I see a shop…read morecalled "Trailer Park." That doesn't happen too often, right? So without much thought at all I declared that we needed to go inside and started across the street. What could Dad say? He gave me a look that clearly said "you're weird" and followed me in. Once inside we were greeted by dozens of items that I swear are in my Grandfathers basement right now. Dad must have been reading my mind b/c he actually said "I think you're grandfather has a couple of those in the basement" while pointing to a set of vinyl suitcases. The entire store is filled, floor to ceiling, with vintage pieces of all sizes and shapes. Big ticket items like tables, chairs and trunks to smaller accessories of baskets & picture frames. The layout and arrangement made it hard to navigate the store and what was more confusing was the location (I think) of the cash register & counter area... It's hidden behind a huge pile of stuff so you can't even see the front door if you're sitting behind the counter. Oh and we were in the shop for a good ten minutes and I don't think I saw the owner/manager once. I though that was weird.. and I can't forget to mention- I found the store to have a bit of a musty smell... which makes sense if you think about the items inside. While I don't think I'd purchase anything it was a cool shop to walk through and brought back memories of Gramps. If you're looking for some nostalgia- stop by Trailer Park
