Not Schlemmer's fault, of course, but Jeremy stayed on top of the order and pressured the company to make sure the grill arrived before the start of the summer season. I searched and found similar ones, but not the one that I wanted. I then asked Austyn and he then went to a computer to look it up and came back and told me that they weren't on the floor, but he would go get them. Upon his return he had 12 of the color I wanted and I asked him if they had anymore and he stated that they had another box of them and he would return in five minutes with them unless he got sidetracked by another person. The manager would not cooperate with me at all. This is a while later and I looked on my App and it shows that I am enrolled in the military discount. This has happened to me on several occasions at the store in Auburn but never at the Fort Wayne Store. I have lost money by not receiving my military discount. If you miss the kids workshop, they usually have the kids kits in hand for the first week, just ask the customer service staff. The home & garden section has a great selection of plants. However, I wish they would get a better selection of hanging house plants. They keep getting golden pothos. Yes, they are gorgeous. But we want some other types & varieties. The staff is always helpful & kind. You can find an associate just about in every aisle you turn. The store is clean, so are the restrooms.

This is a "real" hardware store where you can buy one (or a few) bolts, or that oddball plumbing part you simply must have to fix your leaky faucet. You see we were going to do the adopt a highway program and flew in from California to help clean a stretch of road outside of Fort Wayne, Indiana. This cool quaint hardware store really had everything anyone would need for home repairs of any kind for that matter any project you have in mind I'm sure this establishment would definitely have the things that you need to accomplish it. The best part about it was the gentleman working had excellent customer service skills and actually walked us around the shop to help us find the different items we might need. He had a great sense of humor and was very compassionate about the story we told him regarding our choice to adopt a highway in Indiana. We will definitely be back in April not only to clean our stretch of highway but to purchase our supplies from this great establishment.
