We ordered the Rix Grill and 1/2 serving Espeto de Rumsteack (grilled and seasoned with garlic drenched in olive oil and balsamic vinegar?). The Rix Grill was filled with 4 Calamari (perfectly cooked), 1 whole lobster, 2 large shrimp, 8 garlic sautéed shrimp, a load of small mussels. The rice was cooked with seafood onion bouillon? and came with some mussels and shrimp. It was a very filling and delish meal.

The seafood was ok, but we had also ordered some pork as well as a steak and potatoes platter for the kids. The medium rare steak came out severely burned and overcooked. The pork was also dry and barely edible. I wouldn't normally let food go to waste but I had no choice here. The seafood soup was probably the best thing I had here. Had I just ordered that I would have been happy. Side note is when we were waiting outside in the blazing heat, the workers took extra care to not only lock the glass door, but also use the retractable belt barrier - as if I was going to raid the place for their terrible food. On top of that I heard ladies complaining that there were no toilet seats!

This is probably my favorite casual dining restaurant experience in Paris…read more That's right- Best Restaurant in Paris for casual, affordable dining and delicious food. Order the passion fruit cocktail made with fresh juice! Yes, it's Brazilian, not French! BUT this is one reason why it is SO good. Here you will get a full, complete plate with fish, meat, or chicken, rice, beans, and vegetables for much cheaper than the next door or any other spot in Montmartre and it will be cooked with PLENTY of flavor! Also, the service here is nice and attentive, unlike other restaurants around Paris where you are ignored during your whole meal. The drinks areCarajas serves fresh and authentic Brazilian food with amazing attentive service . I have been coming to Carajas for the last five years. VERY fresh with fresh fruits and ice. Just be careful, just like in Brazil- the sugar masks the alcohol, so you can be drunk after only 2 drinks! the only probleme is sometimes the food is a but salty. I love Carajas and will definitely keep coming back every year!

We waited about 20 to 30 minutes, but the line moved steadily and was well managed. The restaurant has a warm, lively Parisian bistro atmosphere. It's busy, energetic, and tables are close together, which adds to the authentic charm. The menu couldn't be simpler. They only serve a green salad with walnuts, steak, and unlimited fries with their famous secret sauce. Everything was delicious. The salad was fresh, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce really is as good as everyone says. I also loved that they automatically bring a second serving of steak and fries. Don't skip dessert. The profiteroles were absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end the meal. Considering the quality of the food, the generous portions with the second serving, and the iconic experience, I thought it offered good value for Paris. I'd happily come back the next time I'm in the city.

I didn't mind the wait if the food was good, but it wasn't the case for me. The mustard dressing salad was ok but the steak was so dry and I could eat only 3 slices. The waitress was very nice. She encouraged me to eat more but I just couldn't. I told her that I would skip the second plate. She actually packed the leftover for me but the food which didn't taste good then wouldn't taste good later, either. I had a bite of the steak later but I still didn't like it. The wine also tasted like water. We just laughed how bad everything was. This place is popular among tourists and I fell for it. Anyway I thought I should share my experience.

The açaí bowls are absolutely irreproachable, served with a generous amount of fresh cut fruit and granola along with a bit of coconut. They come in a small or a larger size. I love the pão, which are baked fresh and served warm. They are so chewy and cheesy, a real treat. If you're sitting on the terrasse you can see them bring down freshly baked batches from the building next door. The café also offers sweet and savory crepes made from tapioca starch (again, naturally gluten-free) as well as a rotating selection of cakes. My favorite of their cakes is the carrot cake served with chocolate icing. The café does not take reservations but, although it can get reasonably busy on the weekends, I've never had to wait for a table. Highly recommend coming here for brunch, or just a snack, if you're in the neighborhood!
