I assume they're doing great work, because whenever there's a power outage the generator starts up without any issue. All in all we're very happy with GenPro. On the first occasion, Millman installed all new lighting fixtures throughout my place, which I had pre-purchased online. Most were replacements, three required new mounts and runs. Also had motion sensitive switches and dimmer switches installed. I supplied LED bulbs to be used in each fixture. Outstanding job. The second time, I had most of the electrical in my two bathrooms updated, new LED ceiling fans, LED lighting over the shower in one bath and the tub in another, and the bathroom switching reworked. Also great job. The most recent time I had Brian replace all the Occupancy switches in my place because I was unhappy with the old ones I had chosen. Two other external light switches were replaced with versions with digital timers. Again, terrific job. I would have no problem recommending Brian for any job, his estimates have always been close to the mark and the prices fair. I had Costco intervene and they agreed to half payment two months before installation but they took the whole amount from my credit card anyway. I should have balked then but I didn't want to start over. I found the owner to be arrogant. Recently when they were trying to get me to renew my service contract, they tried to upsell me on $165 valve adjustment with a vague reference that not doing so could negate the warranty. I checked the Generac manual and found that my generator has hydraulic lifters which don't require adjustment. Needless to say I terminated my relationship with them.

Buyer beware! Initially, I would have given Power Watch Systems (PWS) a 5-star rating for the…read moreinstallation of my Generac generator 3.5 years ago. The installation team was excellent, and I even referred them to others, earning a $50 coupon for my referrals. However, since October 2022, I've experienced recurring "overcrank" issues with the generator after its weekly exercise. PWS responded promptly each time, but the problem persisted, occurring five times in two years. I was charged $300 for two of those visits without a resolution. Eventually, they identified the outside regulator as the issue and quoted $898 for the replacement. I had to request a breakdown into Parts and Labor. The breakdown was $400 for a master plumber, $349 for the regulator (NGR02 1"NPT Orange Spring 2-7"WC 1/2" Orfice) , and $149 for someone to turn it on. I inquired on how long it would take to replace the regulator and I received a written response that "they wouldn't know until they got out to do the job" which led me to believe the $400 labor was an estimate. Despite my request for an adjustment after the plumber took only 30 minutes to replace the regulator, PWS insisted the quote was a flat rate, stating I had agreed to it and should be grateful for all of their "great service". When I researched the regulator's cost, I found it much lower than quoted. My complaints were met with accusations of ingratitude. I tried to speak to the owner but he refused. They did try to appease me with a lower cost which I paid but still paid too much and took a lot of verbal abuse. I won't use or recommend PWS anymore and have found another local dealer.
