I am very picky about who I use, and MacPhee does really great, careful work. They take pains to disrupt as little as possible to get the job done, AND clean up afterward. To the people who complained about how long it took to get a generator, yes, I waited too, but they were back ordered from Kohler and once MacPhee got the order they came right out for the install. That took about 4 months from the date of deposit but again, MacPhee relies on the manufacturer for product, and once they order it you are committed-as it should be!

A few years ago my wife became ill and we needed a generator for our house just in case. I shopped…read morearound and found MacPhee Electric - they offered pretty good generator pricing and I hoped the installation was would be worth the wait (backordered - delivery and install was scheduled about 2 months out). They did an amazing job. Working with gas lines in my basement was no easy task, and everything was installed tight and clean. They then drilled through my solid 18 inch rock house outer wall (100 year old house), then trenched out an underground gas line to way in the back of my property even through the February frozen ground. The install was amazing, and took full 2 days. After the install the truly mediocre router from Verizon wasn't picking up the signal from the generator, MacPhee came out and installed an extender - no charge. Been working well ever since, and I get notified on my phone any time the generator turns on. Final note: A few days ago I smelled gas in my basement, so I called PECO who verified a tiny leak in a pipe. I called MacPhee on Friday morning, they came out that afternoon (after 5) and showed me the tiny leak - and fixed it, even though it wasn't in a pipe leading to the generator they installed. I was appreciative they came out right away, let alone they didn't charge me for the visit or repair. Can't really say enough good things about them.
