I highly recommend "A" List Handyman for any work that you need done! Our neighbor broke off the corner of our house with a U-Haul. I emailed Danny photos and he responded within 30 minutes. The work was scheduled for a few days later. Danny was VERY thorough with the repair. He matched both paint colors perfectly and rebuilt the corner of our roof, all within the timeframe he originally quoted. His work was flawless. We'll be using "A" List Handyman for all of our home repairs from now on! read more

Repaired trim and molding at my house. Did an excellent job post water damage. Highly recommend.

From the very beginning, Danny was punctual, professional, reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed working with him on our first big home improvement project. We started by talking through all of our ideas and concepts with him to figure out our scope. Our project ultimately involved replacing hardwood and tile flooring with hardwood floors, removing a fireplace and built-in cabinetry, installing new plumbing and electrical fixtures, and painting everything back to normal. This kind of work is more than just handyman work, and Danny being a licensed contractor was more than able to take it on. We are so happy with the end result and the quality of his work. He was easy to communicate with and responded knowledgeably to all of our questions. He also kept the work area very clean and as compact as possible every day. He had solutions (that work) to every issue that popped up! He went above and beyond in resolving issues during the project and making sure that the end result was perfect. It was a big project, but Danny's pricing was fair and transparent. Very highly recommend! read more

We have used Danny on two occasions over the past couple of years. Our house is 100yrs old in a Historic Preser. Overlay Zone, in both cases we had water damage near couple of doorways. Water is insidious, you can see the damage at the "end of the line", but hard to know how extensive it is. We called on Danny for his forensic abilities. He had to do some stucco removal/replacement as well as window frame/sills, door jams and and part of a major 4x8 beam replacement. His craftsmanship is excellent, he kept demolition to a minimum and artfully created strong joints to join new wood (some fir, some oak) where removal/partial removal was required. By carefully splicing together, he saved doing larger demolition. He was able to complete his work in 3 different parts of the house with minimal disruption to our lives. Most important is in our case, the finish work is seamless, undetectable from our much loved original parts of our 100 year old home. He really is the "A List Handyman. read more

Danny is exceptional! I wanted to wallpaper a column in my loft and I almost tried to do it myself. Thank GOD I hired Danny to do it. It's beautiful and he put so much work into making the design wrap perfectly around the column to match and line up the pattern. Danny, Thank you so much for your beautiful work! The house is getting some color :))) read more

I hired "A" List Handyman (aka Danny) to assist with some finishing touches on some DIY projects in my house, namely installing a new medicine cabinet, replacing some broken subway tiles in my 1926 bathroom and replacing an outdated doorknob on a closet door. Danny, as he promised, is a consummate professional and spends more attention to detail than I could ask for. The finished projects exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be hiring him again for future projects. In and above his craftsmanship, he is thoughtful, considerate of home and pets, clean and trustworthy. He was in my home for 3 days and never once felt like I needed to check in on him or his progress. He's awesome! read more

I initially tried contacting "A" List Handyman via email about an issue I'm having at my house. I never received a response. I figured maybe it was just missed, and I contacted him instead through Yelp. He responded with a quote and that he was booked for the next two weeks. We made an appointment for him to come check out my issue after that two week period was up. He was a no-show for our agreed-upon time. I do not recommend this company. Find someone who will actually respond and show up. read more

Danny is a rad human with some serious handiman superpowers!. I kept calling him Sherlock Holmes, because I hired him to figure out what was wrong with my water system. It was one mystery after another, and he solved them gracefully. Excellent problem solving and execution of solutions! Danny is so committed to being a badass ninja handiman and getting the job done right, that he seriously sucked the water out of a sink tube and spit it out, to pull out the debris blockage: I mean - what??? Who does that? That is some serious commitment to a job well done! And some serious old school wisdom and know-how - to trouble shoot such a quirky and mysterious circumstance. Add to that the fact that Danny is pretty much a human leprochaun / magical elf, and his daughters are like walking faeries , you've got yourself a rad and helpful human who can help you with nearly everything! Thanks Danny! read more

Unprofessional, unreliable, constant excuses... can't finish the simplest job. If you want it done don't call this Danny dude. Total flake. read more

What more can I say: Danny is The Man. Incredibly professional, thorough, and the best part, considerate (especially in these worrisome Covid times). His communication, scheduling, handywork (most importantly), billing - all flawless. I've used his services a few times now and I'm always impressed. He's in high-demand and that speaks to his craft + personality so I'd advise any prospective customer of his to be patient when reaching out to him - it's worth it, trust me! read more

Danny is a fantastic handyman. He's replaced an old window in our house and an under-the-sink food-waste disposer -- and has also installed a difficult shower-curtain set-up. He can do jobs big and small, and is totally thoughtful about them. His prices are reasonable and he's a genuinely friendly person. read more

Danny has been a tremendous help with our new place. I contacted a couple of other handymen before I found him and I had a lot of trouble just getting a call back from others. Danny was very responsive from the beginning and communication was always prompt. His skills as a handyman are also exemplary and we've been very happy with his work. Initially we asked him to do a demo of a wall in our garage and a built-in, but given his very good results, we added a lot more work for him and delivered on everything very well. We had him patch up stucco in several walls, paint, fix a patio wall, install a floorboard, fix loose ceiling light fixtures and probably more which I'm forgetting. He's on our speed dial now. read more

Would definitely recommend Danny at "A" List Handyman to do any kind of job that you might need done. He installed our two bathroom exhaust fans along with installing ductwork and roof vents. He purchased the materials for us, gave us a very reasonable and excellent quote, and stood by it. Very knowledgeable, hard working, thorough, helpful, and efficient. Will definitely be calling him again soon to help us out. read more

Danny was responsive and went well beyond to fix my issue, highly recommended!

Danny was very responsive on my inquiry. He showed up on time and completed the work I needed in a timely manner. Everything was very professionally done. I recommend this company! read more

Danny is the man! He's a handyman you can trust and won't try to rip you off. Awesome guy.

Danny is the best handyman I've come in contact with. He communicated well beforehand and is honest and trustworthy. He fixed a lot of things my place and did each job thoroughly. I have a difficult European faucet in my kitchen and had already had another handyman who attempted to fix it but couldn't. Danny fixed it, no problem. Danny did more than I had originally asked for - he descaled shower heads and cleaned them out meticulously. Also, I had my guest room painted and the painters never replaced the wall outlet plates. He noticed it and replaced them without me having to ask! I will, without a doubt, be contacting Danny again in the future. read more

I moved to Oregon, which is so much better than Cali...well, to get to the point I wish Danny lived here because he did wonders for my house in West Hollywood. The guy is a monkey, too, crawling through walls to create a most-difficult to-install electric car charger. He DOES get extremely busy, so he may say that he's too busy - for real. He is in demand by smart people. read more

I needed my over-the-range microwave replaced with a range hood. I called Danny and explained that I wanted the old microwave removed, the current 4 inch vent pipe replaced with a 8 inch vent pipe, new roof cap installed and finally the new range hood installed. He gave me a quote and we set a date for a week later. Danny arrived on time (actually 5 minutes early) which is a first for me with construction or repair businesses. He went in and looked at all the associated work that needed to be done and confirmed the quote previously discussed. He went to get materials, came back and got to work. The install went well and took a little longer than either of us were anticipating. He kept everything as clean as he could during the install and after he was done he cleaned up very well. As far as Danny goes, he's a super nice guy! He's very professional and knows what he's doing. He has pride in his work unlike a lot of others in this trade that are more interested in just getting it done as quick as possible. read more

Danny is truly as good as it gets! Quite an adept handyman. He is honest, very knowledgeable, efficient, timely, personable, polite, and definitely more than qualified to get the job done right. I don't give high praise easily but Danny deserves it. A++ read more

Danny was the right handyman for my job! After my dishwasher died I was desperate to replace it. I needed a problem solver who could figure out how to take the old dishwasher out (that had been tiled up to) while saving my granite countertops. Danny cut the tile in front of my dishwasher to get the dead dishwasher out and install the new one. While doing the install he found a rat's nest in the open lath. EEK! At my request, he was happy to clean it out and wall up the whole underneath of my kitchen sink to prevent it from happening again. He is very solution oriented and doesn't give up easily. If you need someone who's up for a challenge, Danny is your guy! read more

I needed someone to pull out my built-in fridge and repair a broken water line without damaging the cabinets or floors, and I needed it quickly. When Danny pulled out the fridge he discovered mold. When you need a someone you can trust with a wide range of home expertise Danny is the man to call. read more

We highly recommend Danny. He is efficient, super knowledgeable and we really trusted him. The great thing about Danny is that he seems to know a lot about everything and I felt like he could fix anything in our house. Job one was two sink repairs, wall light replacements, and 20 feet hanging electric blinds. He's doing more complex work for us next and I feel like his bids are honest and worth the price to get the job done right! read more

I have been trying to find a great handyman for a long time now. I have hired several people already. All who had hundreds of amazing reviews on yelp. Unfortunately after the jobs were complete everything always had to be redone. One handyman even installed a swing improperly which led to a very serious injury for a 1 year old. But that was certainly not the case with Dan. He was punctual, thorough, kind and went so far above and beyond. He has amazing instincts as a handyman and I was so impressed with his ability to problem solve with some of the more challenging projects. It can be hard when reading through reviews to know who to hire but please take my word for it he is definitely the best handyman I have every worked with and I can promise you won't be disappointed!! read more

Danny was so personable and knowledgeable. He fixed my annoying smoke detector from beeping relentlessly, and also found a trick to prevent the other alarm from going off as well. He was really great about telling me WHY the alarm was going off, and even followed up via email a couple weeks after to ask if the alarm had gone off again (it's didn't). I text him today because my tenant said the garbage disposal wasn't working. He talked to my tenant directly over the phone and troubleshooted it without having to come by. He didn't charge me a penny for the phone call, and saved me time/money. He's definitely someone who you want in your phone when stuff goes wrong in your place! read more

Can't recommend "A" List enough. Communication was smooth and responsive. Attention to detail is exacting. I was very impressed with the level of care & consideration given to my house (left the work area cleaner than found). Danny is an incredibly honest and skillful handyman. I hired Danny to remove my kitchen sink, remove my old laminate countertops, and lower the height of a pony wall. He also prepped my cabinets to be level for the installation of new countertops - a very tedious job considering how uneven my floors are. Danny had excellent attention to detail. He didn't leave until everything was perfect and charged a VERY reasonable price. On top of that, he's truly a funny/friendly guy that you don't mind having in your home. I'm excited to recommend him to my friends and family. read more

Danny was wonderful! He answered my call right away, went to fix what I needed the same day and gave a good quote. Danny is a great handyman - there is no task too big or too small for him. I had a bunch of things that needed attention around my house, and was amazed at the speed and skill of Danny's work. He also cleaned up everything afterword, so it was like he was never there! While he was at our house fixing our lock, I mentioned to him that i couldn't get the cabinets on my sideboard to line up, in no less than 2 minutes he had them perfect. Couldn't ask for better service! read more

LA can sometimes be a wasteland when it comes to finding a reliable, professional handyman. Danny is one of the few that I've found delivers as promised: I asked him to do some painting, patching, and other work at my place and he MORE than delivered, at a MUCH higher standard than I was expecting...You won't be disappointed in the caliber of his work if you hire him: highly recommend! read more

Danny is the best! I first found Danny through Yelp and he truly lives up to all his great reviews. The first job we had for him was a leak in our downstairs bathroom, he is timely, efficient and able to solve a complicated problem. We couldn't be more happy! He saved us a ton of money and not having to call a plumber (thank you so much Danny!) He cleaned up everything and left our house spotless! We are so thankful for him! The second job I had for him was delivering a new couch to my office and putting it together. Again, done so easily and so quickly! So so worth it! Thank you so much Danny! You are truly the best! After moving to LA almost 18 months ago we have finally found the best handyman in town. The only one we will call from now on! If you want someone you can trust, that is knowledgeable and so kind call Danny! read more

I hope to be a repeat customer. The entire experience from star to finish was great. When I canned Danny I had an unreasonable request to be seen the next day, because my daughter's door hinge ripped out of the frame and wouldn't close. Danny checked his calendar and called me back within a half hour to confirm an appointment for the next day. After he arrived, he was able to fix the door in less than half an hour, and because he has a two hour minimum, he eagerly asked to work on other projects. I had him completely rescreen my sliding screen door and it looks great! If I ever have another project, I know who to call. read more
