From the very beginning, Danny was punctual, professional, reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed working with him on our first big home improvement project. We started by talking through all of our ideas and concepts with him to figure out our scope. Our project ultimately involved replacing hardwood and tile flooring with hardwood floors, removing a fireplace and built-in cabinetry, installing new plumbing and electrical fixtures, and painting everything back to normal. This kind of work is more than just handyman work, and Danny being a licensed contractor was more than able to take it on. We are so happy with the end result and the quality of his work. He was easy to communicate with and responded knowledgeably to all of our questions. He also kept the work area very clean and as compact as possible every day. He had solutions (that work) to every issue that popped up! He went above and beyond in resolving issues during the project and making sure that the end result was perfect. We have used Danny on two occasions over the past couple of years. Our house is 100yrs old in a Historic Preser. Overlay Zone, in both cases we had water damage near couple of doorways. Water is insidious, you can see the damage at the "end of the line", but hard to know how extensive it is. We called on Danny for his forensic abilities. He had to do some stucco removal/replacement as well as window frame/sills, door jams and and part of a major 4x8 beam replacement. His craftsmanship is excellent, he kept demolition to a minimum and artfully created strong joints to join new wood (some fir, some oak) where removal/partial removal was required. By carefully splicing together, he saved doing larger demolition. He was able to complete his work in 3 different parts of the house with minimal disruption to our lives. Most important is in our case, the finish work is seamless, undetectable from our much loved original parts of our 100 year old home. He really is the "A List Handyman. read more

I figured maybe it was just missed, and I contacted him instead through Yelp. He responded with a quote and that he was booked for the next two weeks. We made an appointment for him to come check out my issue after that two week period was up. He was a no-show for our agreed-upon time. I do not recommend this company. Danny is a rad human with some serious handiman superpowers!. I kept calling him Sherlock Holmes, because I hired him to figure out what was wrong with my water system. It was one mystery after another, and he solved them gracefully. Excellent problem solving and execution of solutions! I needed my over-the-range microwave replaced with a range hood. I called Danny and explained that I wanted the old microwave removed, the current 4 inch vent pipe replaced with a 8 inch vent pipe, new roof cap installed and finally the new range hood installed. He gave me a quote and we set a date for a week later. Danny arrived on time (actually 5 minutes early) which is a first for me with construction or repair businesses. He went in and looked at all the associated work that needed to be done and confirmed the quote previously discussed. He went to get materials, came back and got to work. The install went well and took a little longer than either of us were anticipating. He kept everything as clean as he could during the install and after he was done he cleaned up very well. Danny was the right handyman for my job! After my dishwasher died I was desperate to replace it. I needed a problem solver who could figure out how to take the old dishwasher out (that had been tiled up to) while saving my granite countertops. Danny cut the tile in front of my dishwasher to get the dead dishwasher out and install the new one. While doing the install he found a rat's nest in the open lath. EEK! Danny was so personable and knowledgeable. He fixed my annoying smoke detector from beeping relentlessly, and also found a trick to prevent the other alarm from going off as well. He was really great about telling me WHY the alarm was going off, and even followed up via email a couple weeks after to ask if the alarm had gone off again (it's didn't). When I canned Danny I had an unreasonable request to be seen the next day, because my daughter's door hinge ripped out of the frame and wouldn't close.
