I needed a large maple tree removed from my backyard and our tight gate opening didn't allow for…read morelarger machinery. Went with Lopez Landscaping since they had the smaller equipment and manpower to get the job done. The tree was quickly removed but it was a 3 star maybe 3.5 star experience because of the additional work needed to coordinate everything. The good: - competitive quote and they were able to come by quickly to assess the work - flexible in bringing equipment that worked with tight openings - main tree removal was done in 5 hours - removed paver stones so they wouldn't be damaged by machinery - friendly and professional. They accommodated a special request to cut a section for a table The bad: - rescheduling was a huge pain. We had to go back and forth for 3 weeks and I had to proactively follow up to confirm if they were coming - unable to grind the stump as part of the initial quote so had to pay another $400 for them to come back with a different machine - never got an invoice despite asking for one multiple times To summarize, this seems to be a nice family business that has experience removing trees quickly. However, it doesn't appear there is a back office that keeps everything organized so you're going to have to do a lot of work to stay on top of things.

I used Andrade Tree Service in 2025 for tree removal and pruning. The basic tree cutting and…read morepruning was fine, though it required heavy oversight on my part and multiple follow-up visits to get the root removal completed correctly due to communication issues between the owner and the on-site crew. I was forced into the position of being the site supervisor despite a language barrier with the crew and having to repeatedly follow up to get the work done as agreed, and a section of my wood fence had to be taken down multiple times, causing wear and tear. Because they got the job done at a reasonable price, I tried giving them another chance this year and requested an estimate. Santiago came out to the house for a walk-through, and I followed up by email with a detailed scope of work for a yard project that needed old soil, a concrete block, tree roots, and shredded tires removed and replaced with new topsoil. They never provided the price estimate. I sent several follow-up emails over a months time, including a final direct request a few days ago asking if they were interested in the project. I have been completely ghosted and received zero response. If you need straightforward tree removal and pruning, they can do the job, but you may have to micro-manage the work if the job requires things done a specific way or custom instructions (in my case, roots removed to a specific agreed upon depth). Reliable communication and professional on-site project management were lacking and made the experience more stressful than necessary. For all my future tree removal and pruning needs, I will be using locally based McKinney Brothers Tree Service instead. Their pricing is just as competitive, and their superior communication makes them the better option.

If they won't even come out when they agree, three no-shows in a row, can you imagine how terrible their services must be?! Any of the so-called "Quality Reviews" must be a complete lie. Lorenzo and his team arrived at 8am, they got to work pronto. They were here to prune a number of…read moretrees that were 100ft high, they worked hard all day. Lorenzo has all the big equipment to do a job like this. I was impressed with his big new bucket truck and his tree grinder. They put so many branches that were like trees themselves into that thing, it was kind of amazing to watch it. They were very neat in their work, did not tear up my yard. Put down some plywood, cleaned up after themselves, and also pruned and shaped some smaller trees in my front yard. They were very careful where the branches would come to rest after they were cut and very skilled in the exact place they lowered the branches onto the ground. They used chainsaws and pruners and roped all the larger pieces so they could control exactly where any limb landed. Overall, I couldn't be happier with their job and wouldn't hesitate to use them for anything else and they do quite a few different things.
