It will cost ~$57,000 to repair the damage Dr. Djawdan has done to my mouth/teeth. Since my last review I have gotten several opinions from dentists, periodontists, and prosthodontists as to the best route to restore my bite and improve the health, function, gum recession, and aesthetics. The good news is that I don't have peridontal disease thanks to my excellent oral hygiene, despite all the trauma my mouth was put through. Note, I've never had a single dentist say I had periodontal disease, though Dr. Djawdan tried to claim I had periodontal disease as an excuse for problems with my dental work. Of course if I don't have it now I most certainly didn't then when my mouth was in a healthier state 6 years ago. The dentist who provided the comprehensive review is extremely talented, and has the ability to do things Dr. Djawdan says couldn't be done, like making crowns with natural looking pink gumlines for areas with gum recession. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to have that done at this time, but it is comforting to know there are talented dentists out there who will take on the challenges caused by another dentists problems. The very good news is I found another fantastic dentist who was able to get me out of crisis mode with the 2 broken teeth that I had to keep recementing myself. He was able to repair the teeth by creating larger gold posts and new crowns - no implants!!! I had asked Dr. Djawdan if he could replace the fiber posts that kept breaking with stronger ones, and he said no. Turns out, he just didn't have the skill to do it. This dentist was AMAZING. What is most amazing is that he was able to correct my bite with a couple of quick adjustments! Dr. Djawdan drilled and drilled for years making things worse, never better. I hope you never have to endure something like that. Even though the pain on the right side of my face isn't completely gone, it is reduced. After not eating like a normal person for years, I had to relearn how to eat again, It is wonderful to now be able to chew without fear of swallowing a tooth or having one break off. To be clear, I was NEVER told that the treatment plan Dr. Djawdan provided and that I went with would have a poor/guarded prognosis as his office claims. Would you hand over $30,000 when the best result you would get is poor? That would be insane. Especially - when I had a treatment plan with another dentist, Dr. Burch, and he was confident that he could provide an excellent result. Even after Dr. Djawdan caused the broken teeth, gum recession, and maladjusted bite that put my mouth in a more damaged state, no dentist after him offered a guarded/poor prognosis with their treatment plans, and they had a harder problem to fix so that claim is so illogical. I was happy with Dr. Burch's plan, but Dr. Djawdan gave me multiple reasons that the implant route was better than the fixed bridge plan Dr. Burch offered, and with Dr. Djawdan being closer to the family member who would be driving me to appointments I went with him. Would an ethical dentist say, go with me and pay $30,000 for a poor prognosis instead of using the dentist that is confident they can give you an excellent result for the same amount. Would an ethical dentist tell a healthy person the best treatment plan for them is to remove all your teeth - when the dental code to preserve teeth first and do no harm? This is very twisted. Dr. Djawdan won't accept any personal responsibility. He tried to blame my problems on peridontal disease - which I didn't have confirmed by multiple dentists. Then he said I had 4 root canals on abutement teeth - which was a blatant lie he knew wasn't true proved by xrays.* Then he says he told me I would only have a poor/guarded prognosis and I happily paid $30,000 anyway. Really? What dentist would even offer poor/guarded results as an option. Even though he never said that to me, that is a pretty pitiful thing to claim when you are marketing yourself as offering "state-of-the-art," "high-quality" dental care. I know many people found my review helpful and wanted a follow up. I still have a long way to go but I feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel. *Dr. Djawdan's wife Rene removed the lie in reference to root canals on 4 teeth in her response after being called out on it, and now claims I had root canals on abutment teeth, when in fact only 1 abutment tooth in the treatment plan had a previous root canal. read more

Dr.Djawdan and his staff are so kind and caring. They are one of the few out there that truly still are. I was getting my impacted wisdom tooth taken out and was so scared to be put to sleep. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt as comfortable as possible. They even held me hand until I was asleep. I can't forget about Sue, who is the best receptionist that I have ever met. The receptionist sets the tone for an establishment and from the moment I walked in I felt cared for, taken after, and like family. Worse experience of my life; flew in for a cosmetic dentistry procedure and was nothing but disappointed from the get-go. Wife is the front desk manager, extremely rude, pushy and won't answer any of your questions. Doctor was horrific, made a mistake during the procedure and ended up having a different specialist fix the issue. I would never recommend this dentist if my life depended on it, took 6 additional months for the damages they created in my mouth to heal read more

First Round Surgery One of the best cures for any form of dental phobia is quite simply ... drugs. OK, I accept that a reasonable and cost-effective alternative is to have perfect teeth, but if that's the case why on earth are you reading this? These guys called in a list of impressive-sounding drugs to my pharmacy in a militarily-efficient lead-up to Surgery Day. Anti-infection, pro-healing, and anti-anxiety... A document was provided with explicit pre- and post- instructions. No question was left out - the word comprehensive comes to mind. The impact was a smiling awakening, a gentle ride into town and an entirely stress free experience. Understandably, I cannot comment too much on the hour or so I was sweetly sleeping (omg I hope I didn't drool or snore!) but the impressive part of this experience (apart from the fact I did not experience it) was the almost complete lack of post-discomfort and the Gift: they accomplished at least four separate tasks while I dreamed. That last comment is important to those of us who prefer to minimize dental treatment time. The Djawdan Center encourage those that are interested to block off time for procedures - such that in the future I can consider multi-zone treatments in one 'laying'. Works for me! What did I have done? A front root was extracted and a titanium pin inserted for an implant and some bone restorative work on both sides of my lower jaw - plus a complete deep cleaning (I have had that in the past and that can be most uncomfortable with multiple injections and unmentionable scraping sounds ... ugh). I was terrified of going to Dentists ... not any more! Dr Djawdan is at the top of his game - his equipment is world class and for the first time in my life I felt safe sitting in a dental chair. The office is welcoming and made me feel very relaxed. The work I had done was exceptional - people ask me who my dentist is all the time as my smile is perfect now! The pricing was competitive and I would never trust anyone else to do any dental work on me! I had a little bit of everything done including implants. I slept thru everything being wrapped in a blanket while the work was done. If you are looking for the exception to the rule - Call Dr. Djawdan! read more

I have a major fear of dentist and have never had a good experience. While working out of state my tooth that had been bad for over a year started hurting. I knew I had to go. From the moment I walked in I felt relaxed they go out of their way to try to make you feel comfortable. They explained the procedure in detail, made sure I was comfortable with just little things like putting a blanket over me. Price was a little high but worth it. And my smile is much nicer now. I don't feel like I have to put my hand over my mouth so people don't see my teeth. I would highly recommend this place especially if you have a fear of dentist and want a professional friendly and talented dentist. read more

Best experience at a dentist - ever. I was recommended by a friend after seeing another dentist in town some time ago. She is afraid of pain and needs sedation. That wasn't my main concern, but after enduring severe abscess pain and swelling from a broken tooth, the sedation was a godsend. I cannot recommend Dr. Djawdan and his staff more highly. I think they literally saved my life - or at least a trip to the emergency ward & I no longer have 'dentist visit' anxiety. read more

Dr. Djawdan and his staff are the most genuine people I have ever met. They are continuously caring, supportive, and will not stop at any lengths to make thier patients comfortable. They WILL change your opinion of going to the dentist. They are ALWAYS upfront and honest every step of the way, so you are always prepred for what to expect. When You walk in the office there are a huge collection of thank you cards hanging in the reception area to show for it. All I can say is experience it for yourself! You will not be disappointed! Dr. Djawdan has a long list of credentials to qualify him in implant, cosmetic, restorative, and sedation dentistry. His work is beautiful, knowledge is unbelievable, and his technology is always expanding to have the most efficent way to care for us.
