We absolutely LOVED working with DJ Wayne and if you truly have a passion for music the way we do, we are certain you will love working with him as well. When I booked our wedding date at the Secret Gardens, I was on the hunt for vendors who knew the space because of how unique the layout was. And with every Secret Gardens blog or social media post I found, I kept seeing DJ Wayne mentioned or tagged so I knew I had to try and hire him for our special day. As a former event planner and forever Type A person, I was SO impressed by DJ Wayne's very thorough website. By the time I finished reading through every page and was ready to reach out, I honestly didn't have any questions - I was just praying we would be a good fit. After having our initial call, we hit it off and I immediately wanted to hire him but to my dismay, he was holding our date for another couple. He asked if I could hang on for a few days because he had a feeling the other couple wasn't quite ready to book, but he had to honor the hold until the agreed upon date - gotta respect a person who keeps their word. Ultimately, he was right. The other couple passed, and we were able to book him for our wedding! He sent over an extremely detailed planning form that my then-fiancé and I had fun completing. Leading up to our wedding, he offered guidance and advice as needed, and was open to our suggestions on lining up certain parts of songs with key moments on our big day. (My husband and I love EDM and wanted things to align with the drops, haha.) We loved the mixes he created, he read the audience well, and was totally fine with us having a silent disco as an alternative music option. He also gave us a copy of all the music from our wedding on this awesome USB shaped like a cassette! We are so grateful DJ Wayne was a part of our wedding day and highly recommend his services to anyone looking for a fun and creative music professional. read more

Wayne has the best events, his taste and appreciation of music is fantastic. I have had a couple of the best dances of all time with Wayne, incorporating the sound healing is such a fantastic opener. Mad props to brother Wayne, dont miss out! read more

I had very specific requirements when looking for my wedding DJ - I needed someone that was familiar with house music, but someone that could also play the normal wedding music and be a great MC, that wasn't going to break our budget. I am SO glad I found DJ Wayne! He was probably the only vendor we had that I actually ENJOYED working with and did not stress me out! (If anything it was the opposite!) He was great at communicating with me, and was so easy to get ahold of. He was very patient with me (as I changed alot of things and couldn't make up my mind - I had Bride-Brain going on haha) and was super-easy going and not "cheesy" at all. Not only was he an amazing DJ, he played what we wanted (No Michael Buble! Haha) the uplighting was seriously AMAZING. Hopefully we will get to see him play a live set soon! Wayne is one of those DJ's that isn't just a "wedding" DJ, so you know he has all the good stuff :) read more

DJ Wayne is amazing! From the start of the planning process through the end of the event he went above and beyond to ensure every guest was entertained. DJ Wayne ROCKED our wedding on September 1, 2013!!! When my husband and I initially went into planning our wedding, DJ and music was one of our highest priorities since we knew our family and friends love to get down. Knowing this, we had to get the best DJ out there, and we're so lucky we did. We couldn't have been happier with Wayne! He provided sound for our ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and dance party. We also booked lighting and photo booth services as well, which made things very convenient for us. All services provided were top notch. From our very first inquiry up to our wedding day, Wayne was professional, organized, thoughtful, and incredibly easy to work with. Wayne collaborated with us on our vision for our wedding day, and also gave us some great suggestions as we trusted his experience. He is a team player that tries to learn about you and also cater to your guests as well. He was open to interacting with our guests and introduced himself to everyone. Wayne is truly invested in you and your guests having a good time and goes above and beyond to make that happen. During dinner the music was so good that a few tables even broke into a full-on sing-along. It didn't stop there though. He knows how to read a crowd - everyone from our youngest guest (age 4) to oldest (~75+) hit the dance floor and no joke, the floor was always jam packed! To this day, our friends and family still rave about how much fun they had at our wedding, and we can't thank Wayne enough for creating such a memorable experience for us. Writing this review I can't help but smile about how great that day was! That day wouldn't have been as epic as it was without DJ Wayne. Thank you Wayne! read more

We used DJ Wayne for our wedding reception. It was LIT. It was also LITerally the best dance party we've ever been a part of. Even before the wedding day, we knew DJ Wayne was going to be great. He's got many years of experience DJing, specifically for weddings - and that experience shows. He was really organized with his communication and was able to get to know my husband and I (and each of our music tastes) during the initial call. DJ Wayne was really considerate - making sure to cover all the songs and genres my husband and I wanted, but also those of our closest friends and family. He was also really great at keeping the flow of the reception going, from dinner, to speeches, to dancing, to more dancing. We would recommend DJ Wayne to anyone considering booking him! read more

We love DJ Wayne!!! He did an outstanding job for our wedding in October 2010 in Half Moon Bay! Our guests still talk about how fun the wedding was and especially the music and fun dancing. DJ Wayne took our vision and ran with it! What an amazing night! After the wedding my Mom requested a CD so she could listen to our music over and over and DJ Wayne was so kind to do that for us!! DJ Wayne is a master in his field. Wayne has the ability to get the entire crowd onto their feet with his intuitive pulse of the crowd. DJ Wayne did our wedding last weekend and he was amazing - from start to finish he paid attention to every detail making sure we got what we wanted. He was professional and kind and our friends and family loved him! He had everyone from kids to my husband's 90-year-old grandpa on the dance floor. Not only was he amazing day of, but he trouble shot with us like a pro. We had the challenge of not being able to play amplified music past 7pm at our venue, and while I was freaking out my (then) fiancé and Wayne figured out how to do a silent disco, and everyone ended up loving it! Not only that, but Wayne made sure everyone was educated on how to use their Bluetooth headphones and when to return them. We are so so appreciative of his work at our wedding. If you're thinking about hiring DJ Wayne - do it. read more

DJ Wayne was amazing. He was warm and easy to work with through out the entire process. The day of our wedding he got there early, was calm, peaceful, and prepared. He played all of the music we requested of him and then read the crowd so well. Everyone was on the dance floor all night long thanks to him! We could not recommend him enough. read more

Wow! First time I wish there were more than 5 stars on a review platform. We just moved from out of state and had our first customer appreciation event. The first DJ we had, was super expensive, and had canceled on us a few weeks before our event. But that's okay, because DJ Wayne, came to the rescue, not only to the rescue, but he is one of the best DJ's I've seen. He can read the crowd, gets them to dance, livens the mood of the parties and plays ALL music types. I am the event coordinator for my company- trust me- some DJ's just don't know how to do these things! So so happy with this experience! Thanks DJ Wayne!! Can't wait until next time! read more

DJ WAYNE! Not only is Wayne the BEST DJ ever - but he is a super thoughtful, easy-going, nice person. He made the planning process super painless. He helped to craft music for our special day by planning calls to discuss our overall vision and helped me manage our shared planning form. Wayne reviewed every detail I added to the form and every request I had - I really, really enjoyed working with him. He gave me the room to co-create our music for the cocktail hour and reception (we had a bit of Irish and Persian music). And gave really good suggestions for music to fill in the gaps where I needed help. The ceremony was loud and clear and the music was perfect for each moment throughout the day. Even at the last minute, he was able to pull in an instrumental piece that one of our family members was planning to sing too!!!! Amazing! Our wedding music was seamless!!!!! I am so incredibly grateful to have had Wayne as our DJ for our special day! Wayne, you absolutely ROCK!!!! Thank you so much!!! read more

DJ Wayne is excellent! He is such a pleasure to work with - kind, considerate and patient with his clients and he attention to details on exactly what you want really shows in his work. He is talented, can read a crowd and knows how to throw a great party! He took the time to really get to know my husband and I as a couple before our big day. You can see the pride he takes in his work. I highly recommend booking DJ Wayne for your next event. read more

Booking DJ Wayne Noel for my wedding last year was the best decision ever! I interviewed a couple of DJs and felt most comfortable with Wayne. I had a phone meeting with Wayne and instantly had this great feeling about him and after listening to his demo...it was a sure thing my husband and I wanted DJ Wayne to be apart of our wedding. The wedding was in Mendocino, CA...so 3-4 hours north of San Francisco. Wayne was willing to drive there and provided us with a very valuable package to include travel. Wayne also provided us with the mic and sound system for the ceremony. My first time meeting Wayne was actually as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle. Wayne had already completed his set up and was talking to our guests. Upon arriving to the reception site, the husband and I were surprised to see that he provided us with the uplighting in the wedding barn...it looked absolutely stunning, the pink backdrop against the rustic wood really complimented the overall feel and look of the barn. I would definately recommend having DJ Wayne provide up-lighting for any special events. About a month prior to the wedding, we completed the wedding questioner from his website. We also submiited our list of songs we like, songs we do not like etc. DJ Wayne did a wonderful job as an MC for the reception as well. Once the dance floor opened, half of the wedding guests came out to dance, the music was an amazing selection and it varies from 80's to 90's to later and today. Basicially, my husband was in love with the music, it had all the songs he loved dancing too...and of course some of my favorite was also incorporated too. Everyone had SO much fun, the dancing stopped at around midnight and we were exhausted. DJ Wayne is amazing, awesome at what he does and made the wedding so much fun. I would definately recommend DJ Wayne to everyone in the SF area and surrounding, or even if you are willing to fly him down to OC/LA area, I definately think its worth it. he's unique and definately does not feel like your typical wedding dj. DJ Wayne is a wedding investment that you will not regret. read more

Wayne did such an incredible job DJ'ing our wedding on 3/17 at the El Dorado Hotel & Kitchen in Sonoma. He was a great communicator and provided fantastic suggestions that helped us create the experience we could only imagine. Throughout the night dozens of guests commented on how perfect the music was during both the cocktail hour and reception. He worked incredibly well with our event planner and was on point with every announcement matching them perfectly with a song that set the exact mood we were looking for. The Photo Booth package was a must for us and Wayne worked with our budget to help us include it. The CD that he created for us at the end of the night was such a nice surprise. It really allowed us to re-live some of the best moments of our event. We probably listened to it 5 times over the last few days. To be perfectly honest, we wouldn't change one thing about our night and Wayne was a corner stone of the total experience. If we were allowed to give 6 stars I absolutely would. Wayne, Thank you so much for all your hard work. You really exceeded our expectations. read more

Had a wedding in November...We were not as organized as we should have been and Wayne went above and beyond..he was literally helping to set up the tables. I LOVE dancing to music mixed by DJ Wayne Noel. He is super fun and has a large repertoire and knowledge of music. He is also amazing at reading a crowd, the energy, and throwing in exactly what is needed to get the party going or to slow things down. He doesn't disappoint and is able to get EVERYONE on the dance floor, even my husband, and that's saying something! read more

No need to stop dancing to make requests! Because of his experience and intuition, Wayne seems to read the energy of your crowd and naturally gives you more of what you want before you even knew you wanted it!! Wayne will not disappoint ...book him today...better hurry though we may book him again before you!! read more

DJ Wayne was superb. He was very professional, easy-going, and did a phenomenal job creating a mix of songs that covered the eclectic tastes of our wedding guests. He had amazing organization skills, and assisted in creating the perfect timeline for our reception. He also came up the the perfect "First Song" dance for us! He helped with the sound system at the wedding ceremony, created the perfect play list for the reception/dinner, and had a fun mix of dance songs for the reception. The wedding venue is not the most conventional place (Slide Ranch, Muir Beach), but he handled the logistics smoothly. Truly impressed! His transitions between each aspect of the ceremony and reception were seamless, and he was truly in tune with everything. He's a team player and worked well with all the staff. Highly highly recommend! read more

We just got married a few weeks ago at the Bodega Bay Secret Gardens. We were looking for a DJ who was familiar with this venue and DJ Wayne has done many weddings there. He was super professional, organized, and patient. He explained the nuances of the garden, how the sound system would be set up to optimize the quality, and was super collaborative with our wedding coordinator and all the other vendors. He had a great shared doc that he used with us to prep for the wedding and we always felt like we were in great hands with him. He also provided super helpful recommendations to make the wedding "flow" better - for example, we planned to have a sparkler exit. He recommended that he do a quick announcement to the guests to grab their sparklers, and that they could go back to get their purses/bags/jackets afterwards (that way guests aren't scrambling thinking they have to grab all their stuff to leave the venue right after the sparkler exit). It was little details like that that really made a difference. The music was awesome and we all had a great time -thank you so much DJ Wayne! read more

We organized the daughter/daddy dance at our kids elementary school and it was really important to find d a DJ that would engage the crowd - dads and daughters alike. I took a leap of faith with DJ Wayne (based on yelp reviews) and WOW...we were impressed! He got ALL of the dads out there dancing and the girls had a blast! He played great music and made sure to keep everyone moving. I am hopeful we will have other events he can DJ at! We are so thrilled with his service! Great DJ & great guy! read more

In the search for a DJ for our wedding, somehow we ended up finding our way to DJ Wayne. And you know what? We are so glad we found him!! I'm the guy who finds something good and I'm always like, I have to yelp that...but I never do! Wayne, check it out you have totally motivated me to write my first yelp review! Ha! That's how good you are! Seriously though, Wayne is everything you could want in a DJ, right from the first time you call him up till the end of your event. I called him a few weeks before our big day and he was super nice and professional and took the time right then to talk to me. We agreed to have him DJ our wedding and he got us setup on his website which is really great. We were able to give him lots of information about the timeline of the day, everyone's names, our music requests, etc. Doing that actually helped us think things through better. But Wayne was always just a call or email away if we ever needed anything. He definitely helped us through the process. We had our wedding at a little house on a small vineyard up in Napa county and Wayne even came out the day before and spent a good few hours figuring things out, talking stuff over with me, and even setting some stuff up early. He totally went the extra mile. Same thing on our wedding day, he was there early to do the final setup so everything went off without a hitch. And it did! He was awesome, from handling the ceremony music, to the cocktail hour, and through the reception. He had the dancefloor going the whole time and everyone kept saying how awesome our DJ was. We had an outdoor dancefloor and he setup his lights which just looked amazing bouncing off the trees into the night. And then even after we had to turn the music off, after everyone else had left, the caterers, the photographer, etc, Wayne was still busy packing up all his gear. Basically what I'm trying to say is this dude is awesome. I seriously can't imagine a gig that he couldn't nail. He worked harder than anyone else, but at the same time made it look easy and made everyone have a great time. To top it off, he's just a super nice guy and a total class act. Wayne, it's my pleasure to take this time to write this review and I just hope it helps some other lucky people find you. You rock! read more

The very first vendor we booked for our New Year's Day (01-01-2011) wedding was our DJ - the man Wayne Noel! I just want to list the FACTS and what made us choose him and not the big name DJ company on the venue's recommended list. - Website: DJ Wayne's website was the best most straight forward impression of what we would get. Everything we needed to know and other tips were right there...saved us time and he had real videos of the weddings he's MC'd for..very cool. I wanted to be in all the videos partying with the crowds. -Communication: DJ Wayne was the best vendor to answer all my emails and was prompt and friendly in his business. Plus the fact that he used smileys often rubbed me the right way :) -Personality: We met with Wayne and he was just the coolest laid back guy (felt like a friend we would hang out with) and he was easy to talk to and just kept things on a real down to earth level. -Price: We felt DJ Wayne charged a very affordable rate for all the was included in the price. Unlike the other guys. RESULTS of hiring DJ Wayne: The fact that we ACTUALLY enjoyed our wedding and danced to almost every song. The image of my family and friends dancing, jumping, fist pumping, break dancing, battling, and doing a conga line all in one night! Fun, FUN good times that will live long in our memories. I can't say enough - LOOK AT ALL THE STARS THIS DUDE HAS - IT'S FOR A REASON!!! read more

I'm a wedding videographer and had the pleasure of working with DJ Wayne on a wedding the other day. He was a fantastic DJ and really helped me out with troubleshooting a way to patch clean audio into my camera when I didn't bring the right equipment with me. I am another mobile DJ who frequently DJs weddings - well - I needed to hire another WEDDING DJ for my wedding and Wayne was who I thought of first!! I am lucky to have booked him because he keeps really busy. Wayne is a little more expensive than other DJs advertise for, but you are truly paying for quality, expertise and care to detail. From another professional DJ I want to give props for being a real pro in the field. He is just an all around great guy, very present, easy to relate to, professional but fun to work with too, honest, great mixing skills and a killer sound system (with a subwoofer!!). If you hire Wayne, believe me - You will be in good hands. He can spin all genres - but we asked him for EDM and funky/deep house for ours which he handled really well - all our guests were complimenting me. read more

A well-deserved 5 star rating to DJ Wayne. I have zero complaints but for the fact that I won't have another wedding for which to hire him. In working with him, the first thing I noticed is that he's very organized -- he'll send you a questionnaire where you fill in all the songs you want for the different portions of the event, as well as the "do-not-play" list. We spent lots of time filling out and revising this list. For some of the items, he had some really good suggestions where we weren't sure (like songs during cake cutting and garter / bouquet toss). He also took the time to make sure he was pronouncing our names correctly, and rehearsed the exact words he was going to use to introduce us as a married couple. We only had a few calls directly with him, and he took care of the rest behind the scenes with our coordinator. One other nice touch -- DJ Wayne also coordinated the sound system & speakers for the entire event, and worked directly with our ceremony musician. Extremely professional, super humble guy. Very flexible and can work with any staff, and any musical preferences. Even if you want some stuff that's out of left field, he will do his research and get your songs cut up and mixed in properly. In particular, he seems to have a special appreciation for the 90s-era R&B / Hip-Hop vibe we wanted for our wedding (though I'm confident he could make a good party out of anything). If you're lucky enough to hire him for an event, get ready for a fantastic time -- you will not regret this decision. read more

You will not regret booking DJ Wayne as your DJ! He was so easy to work with from consultation to payment to handing everything the day of. DJ Wayne provided us with a worksheet to help with all the coordination before our special day - this made everything easy pea-sie! About a few weeks before the wedding he checked in with us and my husband was supposed to get him the music ...Sorry DJ Wayne!!! My husband was so overwhelmed (only thing he had to do.. (eye roll) and of course my husband didn't get the music to DJ Wayne!! Of course no problem for DJ Wayne he got the music a day before (thank you again for working with my husband ). DJ Wayne arrive and set up the audio for reception and the whole set up inside for the DJ piece. He really made the whole process so seamless and stress free. We also wanted him to play longer!! And he did! So awesome! Our guest had so much fun and most importantly this is a night we will always remember.. we'll sort of! Haha! Thank you DJ Wayne!!! read more

DJ Wayne was the DJ at our wedding and he did an amazing job! My fiancé and I only gave him a few songs to play during our reception at Trek Winery and the rest was up to him, and he nailed it! Based on what little we gave him he created a great dance party for us which is exactly what we wanted he did the most amazing job! He is also very professional, very responsive, and has an incredibly helpful and thorough website, which I was very impressed with. DJ Wayne was great! He was so personable and we felt like we knew him from our very first talk. He seemed truly invested in making our wedding the best event possible. He had an online form that helped us communicate our tastes and then we talked about 2 weeks before the wedding to make sure he knew exactly what we wanted. The wedding went off great! He played different music in different areas of our venue and everyone danced their a$$es off! His emcee'ing was just what we wanted: not too exaggerated and he kept things moving. All in all, he was terrific to work with and provided just what he promised: excellent music to really get the party started and keep it going throughout the night! read more

Dj Wayne, doesn't only provide music, he provides insight. Insight on how to map out your wedding - almost like a 1/2 wedding coordinator. He coordinated with our people and made us feel at ease. I chose him over other Djs because I liked how he sounded when I first contacted him. He didn't sound like a disc jockey on a radio station, he sounded like a chill dude that I can relate to. I found him on google and he had a good rating - now I see why. Give this guy an opportunity to do your music at your next event or wedding! Thanks Wayne! 5 stars read more

DJ Wayne is GREAT! He helped make our wedding a huge success, thanks in part to his talent, professionalism, personality and experience. Everything from planning to execution was easy with his help. There was nothing he couldn't (and wasn't willing to) help with and I really appreciated all of his guidance, suggestions and fun attitude during the entire process. Importantly, he kept everyone up on the dance floor, having fun for 4+ hours. There was never a dull moment! Thanks DJ Wayne :) read more

Wayne DJ'ed my wedding last weekend at the Outdoor Art Club in Mill Valley, and completely exceeded my expectations as a DJ and as a bonus day-of coordinator. We booked a package with him including ceremony sound, reception sound and DJing, and a photo booth, which made managing three major components of the wedding very simple and seamless. As a bride I was pretty laid back, or maybe you could call it indecisive, about some of the smaller details - I didn't create a do-not-play list (or a play list for that matter), I had no idea/opinion about the sequence of traditional events (first dance, speeches, bouquet toss), and my main objective was for everyone to have a great time, regardless of what exactly that looked like. From the get go, Wayne was super easy to work with, provided a simple planning form to get the big details in place (which really helped with planning), and during our pre-wedding planning call he helped me make the rest of the outstanding decisions about our evening. I just gave him general guidelines about the types of music we and our families enjoy, and he took it from there. Everyone loved the music, never stopped dancing, and he even accommodated both a dance off and an impromptu performance with a mic by one of our guests - pretty awesome. After the last song, he got an actual "one more song" chant! And he gave us one! As far as day of coordinating goes, I'll have to leave the review to my MOHs. When I met Wayne in person pre-wedding, I just told him that the two blonde bridesmaids were making decisions and could answer any of his questions... and he complied. He always went straight to them with any last minute questions, and only pulled me aside if necessary, which was great! My sister/MOH is adamant that Wayne should also be a day-of wedding coordinator, because he was that great. The big takeaway is that we received the biggest compliment we could have gotten about our wedding: that the room was so full of love and happiness that people just wanted to burst. Of course I have my family and friends to thank for a big part of that, but Wayne also set the tone, ensured everyone had a great time, and kept my day completely stress free. Should I ever have the chance to hire a DJ again, he's at the top of my list for sure! Thanks DJ Wayne! read more

DJ Wayne did a great job at my wedding. I had to do a last minute switch-a-roo on the DJ (I stopped getting ANY responses from the original DJ I hired... that's a long story). Anyhow, after not hearing from my other DJ I started contacting DJs with good reviews on yelp (why I didn't follow my instinct and do that from the start, I do not know). Luckily DJ Wayne had a cancellation on my wedding day. Lucky me!!! Back to the review, DJ Wayne is extremely professional. I felt very blessed to have a DJ so on top of things. It really made the reception go smoothly. Oh, and the music was rocking too. After dancing for a couple of hours, I was tired and took a break. I guess after that the number of people dancing was thinning out. With 15 minutes to go, DJ Wayne gave me a heads up that only a few songs were left. So of course we all came back and rocked it til the end of the reception. In summary, it was great music and Wayne is very professional and reliable. read more

DJ Wayne Noel is awesome! We booked him for our wedding just a few weeks ago and he made our reception absolutely perfect! He took the time to get to know us and our musical style and it really paid off! He came up to greet us as we made our way over from the ceremony spot and made sure all of our guests were having a good time when we got there. He was extremely professional yet still down to earth and friendly. He was flexible and already had ideas ready when our timing changed which made it much less stressful for me! He was so easy to get along with and I didn't worry about the night flowing... I knew he would take care of everything! Thanks DJ Wayne!!! read more

My wife and I hired DJ Wayne for our wedding reception and he helped make the day perfect. He was very responsive to emails and texts leading up to the event and we had a formal call with him a few weeks before the big day to review our planning form which helped everyone get to know each other a little more. All of the communication made us feel at ease about an otherwise stressful planning process. Wayne was knowledgeable, patient, had great suggestions, and you could tell he genuinely cared about the success of the event. He played songs that we never thought of and they fit our personality perfectly. Our family and friends enjoyed every minute. DJ Wayne also went above and beyond to help us get a microphone last minute for our ceremony which was at another location. We appreciated all of his efforts, and we really feel like we got what we paid for and more! read more

DJ Wayne is much more than a DJ! When we lost our venue with 1.5 months to go not only was he super flexible in traveling to another venue but he also offered to help us search for new venues!
