I hired DJ Ryan for my 70th birthday party, and he absolutely made the celebration unforgettable! From the start, Ryan was professional, punctual, and incredibly easy to work with. He arrived early to set up and ensured everything was ready to go on time. One of the most impressive things about Ryan was how well he worked with my (very long!) playlist. He skillfully mixed all my favorite songs into a seamless flow that kept the energy up and the dance floor busy. A special highlight was when I asked him to lead the Cupid Shuffle--some of my guests weren't familiar with it, but Ryan did such a fantastic job teaching it that nearly everyone jumped in and had a blast! If you're planning a party or event and want a DJ who is talented, reliable, and fun, I can't recommend Ryan highly enough. He truly helped make my milestone birthday a night to truly remember! read more

DJ Ryan was one of the best vendors we hired for our wedding at Olympia's Valley Estate. From the beginning, he was professional, organized, and so easy to work with. He really took the time to understand the vibe we wanted and absolutely delivered. The music was perfect from start to finish, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. He did an amazing job reading the room, mixing in our favorite songs with crowd-pleasers, and keeping the energy up without missing a beat. Ryan was also a fantastic MC, keeping the evening flowing smoothly and coordinating seamlessly with our other vendors so we could relax and enjoy every moment. We're still hearing from guests about how much fun they had, and we know Ryan played a huge part in that. We couldn't recommend him more highly! read more

What an amazing team! There are no amount of words I can say that can express how amazing Planet Entertainment DJ's is. Ryan and Brooke provide such an amazing service the day of our wedding even in the rain. The sound was amazing. Ryan did an amazing job with the playlist for the reception, we really just gave him the genres we liked and he did the rest! You can definitely tell this man some serious experience with the amount of questions he asked, and makes sure we don't forget anything we want to have happen on our day. Ryan and Brooke kept our wedding on schedule and I didn't have to worry anything being missed. We were truly able to have so much fun! Brooke came so prepared with a fully stocked wedding emergency kit, brought drinks to our wedding party during photos, and even held my phone for me since my dress didn't have pockets. While holding my phone for the whole night she was capturing amazing photos and videos we will cherish forever! read more

Ryan was our wedding DJ and he did an AMAZING job. He worked with us a ton ahead of the event, organizing the music list and timeline and asking/answering questions we didn't even know existed. He's clearly very experienced and has seen it all. Highly professional and organized, but also friendly and flexible even in the moment. Excellent DJ, can't recommend highly enough!! read more

Ryan with Planet Entertainment is amazing! From our first conversation with him we knew he was going to be a great choice. He was the perfect choice for our wedding DJ/time line setter!... not to mention his music mixes were so amazing that myself (Bride) and majority of the wedding party and guests literally never left the dance floor! Ryan and Brooke are an amazing team. With Ryan as our dj, we were able to incorporate little pieces of ourselves into the music of the wedding. Ryan played wedding trivia with our guests to excuse to the buffet, and really got our guests interacting with one another. To pick the night up, he brings out props (ie: boas, inflatable guitars, costumes) for people to wear. This added such a fun element to our reception. Brooke was the best help a bride could ask for. She bustled my dress, checked to see if I needed a drink, and even helped me fix my hair when it was falling apart. I absolutely loved having Ryan and Brooke at my wedding, and would HIGHLY recommend using them. read more

Ryan and Brooke were beyond AMAZING! My husband and I were planning a wedding near Napa while living in Texas..from the start Ryan took time to get to know us, Facetime us, and keep us in the loop. Ryan assisted in the timeline, and had tons of extra fun ideas that we would have never thought of, but was never pushy about anything. Brooke went above and beyond during the reception to keep things moving smoothly and make sure me and the bridal party had everything we needed at all times (She even saved the day when I had forgotten my garter, she pulled one out of her box of magic just in time for the garter toss!) We received so many compliments during the reception and even continuing after the wedding about how great the DJ was. Definitely would recommend to everyone! read more

Ryan and Brooke were superb! They served as amazing DJ's (Very tuned in to the crowd at all times), as great coaches to the wedding party, as wedding organizers, as the contact people for the venue staff, After we interviewed Ryan, there was no need to look further. We had peace of mind because of them throughout the wedding. And, in addition, they are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. read more

Ryan and Brooke were fabulous!! We can't say enough on how well everything at our wedding turned out because of them. They make such a great team and are clearly the best in the business. Brooke was above and beyond on the day of, had a lot of great and very useful suggestions and really saved the night (NUMEROUS times). Ryan was awesome, even got my (very shy and very dignified) father to not only dance but to wear a multicolored mohawk and jam on a blow-up guitar! We knew to trust both of their judgement on what to play and are not only glad that we did but were surprised on how well some of the songs that were played worked out. If you're looking for a very prompt, detailed orientated, fun and fabulous DJ team then look no further, this is it- by far!! They are worth every penny!! read more

Ryan and Brooke are the ultimate wedding tag team! I am so thankful and found them for my wedding. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour to the reception. Everything was flawless! We did not hire a wedding planner to be with us throughout the wedding day and with Ryan and Brook we did not need one. They kept everything on time and we NEVER felt rushed but were at ease knowing someone was paying attention. And Brooke!!! Our little wedding firefighter! There to put out any fire that came our way (we had no fires to worry about but she was definitely ready in case there were). Thank you thank you! You guys are more than amazing!!! Everyone needs to hire them for their weddings and special events! read more

Ryan and Brooke are awesome! My fiance and I knew from our first meeting with Ryan that he was definitely who we were going with. He was professional and on top of his stuff. He had all kinds of ideas I had never thought of and helpful tips for choosing songs. Wedding day music was perfect. He played all the right music to keep the dance floor packed. Ok now let me tell you about his wife Brooke who assists him........she is amazing. She seriously was the most helpful person at the wedding. She made sure I always had a drink when I needed one, always asked me if I needed anything. She bustled my dress, and helped everyone stay on track. I will be recommending them a lot. I cant say enough good things about them. My wedding day was flawless and I really owe it to them. read more

Best wedding DJ ever!! Ryan and Brooke made our wedding celebration extra special. Brooke was truly amazing - always had my beverage waiting, got me a sweater, and did everything to make me enjoy my night. Ryan kept our guests entertained and played the songs we requested! I can't say enough good things about Brooke and Ryan! They did such a wonderful job with the overall wedding including the timeline for the ceremony and reception, day-of coordinating services from Brooke, not to mention her super awesome emergency kit that totally came in handy. The DJ was the only place we actually splurged a bit, because both the groom and I love music and we knew we wanted someone who could keep the energy upbeat and fun. To be honest, we liked both Brooke and Ryan so much we can't wait to make up an excuse to hang out with them again, they are awesome! read more

Ryan and Brooke are so much more that just a DJ team. They were an instrumental part of the success of our wedding. From the wedding ceremony to the reception they were with us every step of the way. Although I haven't had a wedding yet to hire Planet Entertainment, I have been to several weddings that they have done and they are , without a doubt, the BEST DJ company around. We cannot thank Ryan and Brooke enough for helping us have the best wedding ever. Not only were people enjoying themselves with Ryan's musical skills and natural flow of the day, but also Brooke was there to help with all the behind the scenes details. Also -- they were able to pull off a surprise wedding song recorded by my parents 30 years ago...via cassette tape! That was amazing. They are truly the best. read more

When I got engaged, I decided to go to a bridal show at the Hyatt in Santa Rosa. Ryan, and a couple of other DJ's took turns announcing the bridal fashion show, and Ryan blew the rest out of the water, and that is how I made my first decision regarding my wedding - I HAD to book him! Ryan's level of preparation and professionalism leading up to our wedding was second to none. He covered every single detail, and was full of advice. One area in particular that he was extremely helpful, was the timing of our wedding events. On the day of, Ryan and his wife, Brooke, helped to usher our guests into each part of the reception. They were great at wrangling (tipsy) groomsmen and family alike, and kept everything on schedule. Planet Entertainment DJ's got everyone on the dance floor and kept them there. Three months later, and I am still hearing about what an amazing job our DJ did and how much fun everyone had. I VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND PLANET ENTERTAINMENT DJ! read more

Where do I start? Ryan and Brooke made our wedding better than ever. Ryan is so funny and kept the night on track and schedule. Everyone raved about him. They have great sound equipment. Our wedding was outside and you could hear everything perfectly. Brooke was any bride's dream!! She was always around to help with anything I needed. From helping me with my bustle to bringing me a glass of wine and a appetizer during my pictures. They are an amazing team and were a huge part of the night. Their energy came into the reception and it was an awesome party. I met Ryan and Brooke at the Wedding Expo in Santa Rosa. They are so organized and helpful. Ryan and Brooke were so enjoyable to work with throughout our wedding planning madness and wedding day! We are so happy we chose to go with Planet Entertainment DJ's! Ryan was responsive, extremely personable, and fit right in with our families and guests! He truly is the expert in music and made every effort to make our visions come true, even when some of our ideas were pretty out there. The entire experience of working with Ryan was full of laughs and a ton of fun! Ryan made wedding planning so much easier, based on insight from years of experience, and we were confident in him leading our timeline of events and providing the best-fit playlist for our crowd. Ryan and Brooke go beyond the duties of typical DJ's, envisioning the entire event, and genuinely caring about the overall success of the big day and happiness of the bride and groom. It was fantastic having Brooke by my side through it all. I knew that if anything went wrong, she'd know what to do, and that provided me a level of peace that was much needed that day. Thank you so much, Ryan and Brooke, for not just being the DJ's at our wedding, but actually being a part of our very special day! read more

Ryan Berrett is fabulous as a DJ. He made our party successful. We had a party for our son for his high school graduation, and everyone is still talking about how much fun they've had. The music worked for everyone! Ryan has a huge collection, plus he downloaded some songs at the party by request. He is very professional, and once you've made contact with him he takes care of the rest. I would recommend him for any kind of event - weddings, school parties, school dances, corporate parties - anything. read more

Ryan & Brooke truly do make quite the team. We so enjoyed our meetings with Ryan, as they were always so lively & informative. On the day of our Wedding, nothing nor no one compared to Brooke, as she tag-teamed in being there for the bride, 101%. If it wasn't for the two of them, I don't think we would have gotten a bite of our dinner - we were not so great about making this a priority ourselves. We have received so many compliments about Ryan & Brooke, and I will always remember all of our friends and family, out on the dance floor, doing the Cupid Shuffle - one of my fondest memories of that evening, by far! The energy was upbeat throughout the entire evening, and I attribute this to having great music, and DJ's to work with. Planet Entertainment DJ's was my ultimate favorite vendor to work with - these two are so patient and understanding, and are simply the best in their industry!!! read more

Ryan was the DJ at our wedding in the beginning of July, and i can 100% say he was by far the best DJ we could have asked for. At our first meeting Ryan created a rough timeline, all while we were just sitting and chatting (this was before we had hired him). He gave us ample recommendations and ideas about how to structure the reception so it flowed nicely, he was also very good about sitting back and letting us explain what we wanted. He was always very responsive to emails, and he made several site visits with us. I felt like I almost had a second wedding planner with Ryan, and it was such a great resource to be able to bounce ideas off of. Ryan was the perfect DJ, he kept the dance floor packed and were really able to read the crowd. I would recommend Planet DJ's to anybody who is looking for a profession, responsive and high energy DJ that can really make a reception something truly special. read more
