Second, I told him most important to me was the he did not play the wrong first dance, father daughter song and mother son song. He literally played the wrong mother son song. It was supposed to be Across the Universe by Fiona Apple. A guy was singing instead. When I went over to tell him it was the wrong song he pointed to his computer and said "the computer says it's Fiona Apple." Then, he just stopped the song in the middle forcing their dance to stop. Dance music was fine, but I didn't want an average DJ I hear at every wedding, I wanted to work with him to make this special.

A family friend whose daughter got married at Cog Hill a few years ago used Jon Wise, and they strongly recommended him. So, after we booked our venue, JPW Productions was actually the first vendor we hired! We were really busy with last-minute wedding planning, so we were not able to fill out the music preference questionnaire until a few days before the wedding. (Yes, it was honestly insanity.) Jon was SO patient with us despite how last-minute we are. He has a great personality and didn't stress us out at all on the day of the wedding (even though it was totally within his right to do so because we didn't give him the flash drive of a certain version of a song until the day of!). We ended up trusting Tim to just play what he thought was right - we gave him a list of songs we liked, but other than that let him pick the music.
