DJ Prashant was amazing. He came to adidas in Portland for our Diwali celebration and absolutely rocked the place. He was the biggest highlight of the afternoon and was so skilled at spreading the positive energy to everyone. People were dancing, laughing, and having a great time thanks to him. 100% recommend! read more

DJ Prashant- Indian DJ - DJs Near Me

DJ Prashant was a joy to work with throughout our wedding process. Beforehand he took several calls and helped us choose music and timings. He provides a generic timeline/schedule that we then used as our master timeline for ourselves! From the business side of things: 5 out of 5 From the execution of the event: 5 out of 5 Personality and ease to work with: 5 out of 5 We had a Hindu/Christian fusion wedding and the music was on point. Not only that, but he mic'd up our Pastor and provided all of the speakers and equipment for 3 separate areas. DJ Prashant is first and foremost a professional and you can rest easy knowing he will handle everything calmly. The staff he hires are awesome as well and know their business. For music selection he will provide music if you do not want to choose, but he is 100% willing to play only the music you want. This is not a DJ who has his own version of events, he will do it YOUR WAY!!! For a fusion wedding this was critical as several other DJ's told us that they would pick it out and read the crowd. Prashant said he could do this for us if we wanted, but would also play the songs we chose. Well, we ended up providing a massive playlist of music for him and he picked out and played the songs appropriately. A huge list of Hindi music, 90s rock, top 40, and slow songs. The dance floor was flooded the entire time and the music and lighting was on point. There were apparently a couple of different technical difficulties that arose, but not a single guest ever knew. DJ Prashant has several backups and options in case things go awry and he handled things like a pro! We, the bride and groom, only found out after he joked about it after-the-fact! Great guy. Professional, and knows his craft. read more

We worked with DJ Prashant for a fusion Indian/American Wedding in July of 2018. He was terrific for all our events...Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding, and Reception. His choices of music, both Bollywood & English, was terrific and we had our guests dancing till the very end of the event. I bet everyone would have been dancing for another couple hours if the event was longer. Our reception program was complicated, but with his help went well. He has 2 wireless microphones, a great set of speakers, and helped us connect the audio to our laptop, which was projecting to our screen. He is a very nice guy, easy to work with, and reliable. I have no reservations in recommending him to anyone! Thanks for helping us put on a great event DJ Prashant! read more

After reviewing other low ratings on your site, DJ Prashant your lack of professionalism as a company is astonishing. Not only are you NOT taking responsibility of the fact that YOU sent DJ Sahil to our event, you are also placing ALL blame on event guests?? Wow bro, way to keep it professional. Also, as a DJ you should also know that the crowd at the party always deems whether the DJ was good or not, not the Bride and Groom because they're 90% of the time preoccupied and just happy period for this time in their life. So as I said before, speaking for over the 120 guests at this event, DJ Sahil was horrible. And your complete and utter lack of integrity and lack of responsibility for your the DJ's working under YOUR company is pathetic. IF YOU'RE PUNJABI, DON'T BOOK THESE GUYS. All you'll get is excuses as to why he can't manage his crew well and blame it on you, the customer, at the end. ONE STAR, only because Yelp won't let me give ZERO. read more

We heard about DJ Prashant from another wedding, we never actually met him or heard his stuff in person. However, many of our family and friends said they enjoyed him at weddings. We then looked into his music/dj samples and pricings on his website, which it was so easy to use because he has an easy instant quote on his website. He was so easy to talk to prior to the date of event, and really laid back. We knew we liked him from the minute we talked to him. The day of the wedding he did an amazing job, always kept the crowd going, we had people dancing on the floor all night. He did a great job mixing the genres we asked for. Very happy to have gone with DJ Prashsant, made our wedding a blast! read more

I was going back and forth about having a DJ at my wedding reception, but I'm glad I did, and I'm glad I chose DJ Prashant! DJ Prashant was an excellent addition to the day. He was well organized, polite, and professional. He is also a super nice person. I really appreciated how he had everything organized on forms before the wedding and went over it with me line by line. He also told me that he would be able to make sure the schedule was being followed and my reception was timely and flowed very well. I would recommend him for your wedding reception needs, whether you are having simple reception with music in the background, or a full out dance party. read more

DJ Prashant provided us with DJ and MC services for our Sangeet, Wedding Ceremony, and Reception. He was very responsive in the planning stages before the events to ensure that we were all on the same page on what was required for each event. During our Sangeet and Reception, DJ Prashant did a fantastic job keeping the dance floor animated throughout the night until the very end. All the music which he played were met with great response from the guests and had rave reviews. We did encounter a few technical difficulties, however, during our Sangeet, where one of the dance floor lights did not work; and during our Wedding Ceremony where the priest's microphone did not work and the background music was a little too loud for the audience to hear what was going on. Overall, we had a positive experience with DJ Prashant, and would recommend his services for any event. We thank him greatly for making our wedding an absolutely memorable one! read more

Would not work with again. DJ Prashant was unable to DJ our wedding so we got Nick instead. Prashant seemed ok but Nick was difficult to deal with. At the event which he knew was outside, he did not come prepared with extension cords. As a result, he did not play for a large portion of the time we paid him for (approaching 1 hour without music) because he could not hook up his equipment to power. He also blasted some music testing his equipment while our marriage ceremony was being performed, so our guests heard "DJ Nick" blasting loud music during our quiet, private marriage ceremony. In addition Nick was very unprofessional in his communications, bordering on downright rude. He also interfered with business matters which did not concern him, as Prashant was in charge of handling payments. Nick also emailed me the NIGHT BEFORE our wedding stating that he had no idea what songs we wanted at the reception and that he might not have them, even though we had a conference call with him earlier that week, and a I had communicated all preferences with him via email. My husband and I expressed concern over Nick's behavior in the weeks before our wedding but Prashant did not validate our concerns and only defended Nick. We asked for some guarantee of good service but were offered none, and were also accused of not being willing to pay for services rendered. We found this to be very offensive and highly unprofessional. There was not much time before the wedding so it was too late to book anyone else, and we did not press the issue further in the interest of having a good wedding. We had a few other smaller complaints but these were the main ones. read more

We had Prashant and his team for our wedding in September 2019 in Naperville. It was a fusion wedding, and he did a great job. Prashant is very easy to work with, and he knows what he's doing. Through the Baraat, ceremony and reception, everything was perfect. I highly recommend Prashant for your DJ needs for your wedding. read more

DJ Prashant did an amazing job for our Garba, Baraat, Wedding, and Reception. He was easy to work with and did an excellent job mixing the flow of American and Hindi music for the reception. He also selected great background music to play that fit each event perfectly without distracting from what was going on. He was incredibly responsive to feedback and was happy to incorporate requests from friends and family. read more

DJ Prashant knows his music. From the moment I reached out to him to help me with my dad's 70th birthday party, he was quick to respond, answered all my questions, and listened to what we needed. We had specific song requests since it was after all a birthday celebration for an older man and crowd, but he was so quick to read the dance floor and change it up as needed to keep everyone entertained. He is really worth every penny. It was so nice to hear that our guests complimented our choice in DJ, which helped confirm my decision to hire him. He's also reasonably priced for what you get. Thank you Prashant, for helping make my father a happy man last Saturday. If I'm ever in need of a DJ again in the future, please expect a call from me! read more

We hired DJ Prashant for our Hindu ceremony and reception in Brookfield, IL. Leading up to the big day, we sat down with Prashant to go over what we were looking for and it seemed like and understood our vision and style. He is also educationally trained in sound engineering, so that was a big plus. Before the wedding, we had several special requests such as mixing us a first dance song, which he was happy to do for us, going above and beyond what he was contracted to do. He was also helpful with any questions regarding our timeline, suggesting songs and helping with add ons (bharaat, dhol player, father-daughter dance. On the day of, he was very prompt and professional. Our guests loved the upbeat bharaat music and elegant ceremony song selections. The priests microphone was perfectly set up and at just the right volume. The receptions is where he really shined. We had a diverse crowd of both ethnicity and age, everyone was able to jam out on the dance floor to songs they were familiar with. Every inch of our dance floor was packed until it was time to shut it down. Prashant was great at the energizing the crowd and keeping everyone excited. He also perfectly followed our timeline, with many performances, speeches and entrances. To keep everyone organized, he had a great form where we filled out our favorite songs/artists and any specific songs needed for performances or entrances. Overall if you're looking for an Indian wedding DJ in Chicago or the Chicagoland area, we strongly recommend DJ Prashant. He was one of our favorite vendors, and our guests continue to rave about our music. read more

DJ Prashant was great to work with for a two day fusion wedding we recently held. He definitely knew how to cater to our diverse audience in terms of music selection and we really appreciated it!! read more

I was very disappointed with service . Given that we had a contract before the pandemic and verbal agreement . I had put a substantial down payment . All of my vendors were happy to accommodate (except DJ Prashant ) and were nice enough to refund the amount on services that they were not able to provide. DJ Prashant was never willing to accommodate our situation, he only suggested I can use my credit for event for a romantic dinner or baby shower / first birthday via phone but later backed out . Last week, I reached out to use his service , as I was told I can reschedule in the future in this time frame. He was very rude . He not only did not honor his word and let me have my event but he also was never willing to accommodate or give me a partial refund for what was never provided to me. If I could give a zero rating I would . I honestly have nothing but positive ratings and things to say for people but I sincerely don't have anything positive to say for his code of ethics and conduct of business. He seemed more interested in the money than providing me with a good experience . Save yourself a headache and look for someone more professional. read more

Prashant did an amazing job with all of the music at our wedding!! We had an Indian-Irish-Hindu-Christian fusion wedding and he did an awesome job seamlessly blending all of the music to make it fit perfectly with our theme while keeping the entire crowd out on the dance floor all night!! We got SO many compliments on how the wedding all came together and how much fun people had at the reception and we owe a huge thanks to Prashant for helping make that possible!! Prashant is a great Indian DJ in Chicago, but he does an excellent job with American music as well. We had quite a long song list including American oldies and he was able to pull off the entire playlist beautifully. We could not be happier with how the whole event turned out and would highly recommend Prashant for anyone looking for a DJ! read more

DJ Prashant recently played for a family wedding, and he was simply brilliant! We didn't want to get off the dance floor. He mixed Bollywood numbers effortlessly with English pop songs. Result? Both, our Indian & international guests, enjoyed thoroughly! The sound quality, lighting, ease of coordination, playing special requests - everything was handled very professionally! Any next event we have - he is certainly going to be a part of it! Hands down, he is one of the best Indian wedding DJs in Chicago. Kudos DJ Prashant! :) read more

DJ Prashant has to be the best Indian wedding DJ in Chicago! We booked Prashant for both nights (sangeet and reception) of our fusion wedding in Chicago this summer, and he absolutely nailed the type of mixes we were looking for. He also went above and beyond, creating custom mixes for us prior to the wedding week for the sangeet so we could practice more seamlessly. Prashant is extremely professional, was very well prepared, and could not have been easier to work with. We'd recommend Prashant to everyone! read more

DJ Prashant was a great DJ for our wedding. If you are looking for an Indian Wedding DJ in Chicago, he is the guy. We have an eclectic music taste, me liking Latin music and my wife wanting 90's hip hop and Indian music, and DJ Prashant did a great job mixing it all together. He was very professional from the beginning. He provides a clear list of flexible packages at good prices. He provided music for the Baraat, sound for the wedding, and music and sound for the reception. It all went off without a hitch. read more

I wish I could give DJ Prashant and his team a higher rating because their professionalism, quality of services and just all around great taste in music is deserving of it. I could not be happier with the services that were provided by DJ Rocky (from DJ Prashants team) for our wedding. Having a multicultural wedding meant that our music had to please people from all backgrounds and this team DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! We had a small number of guests and Prashant was able to work with us to figure out a solid package and I'm so incredibly grateful for it. It's been 2 months since our wedding and we STILL have people raving about how great the DJ was and how everything he played was amazing! People even told us that when they tried to leave the dance floor the music just kept them dancing. We sent a very short list of music to be played and somehow DJ Rocky had those songs plus songs I didn't think of but wanted so badly to have played, it was as if he was reading our minds. Prashant was easy to get in contact with and he made everything incredibly easy to plan for our reception. Having good music was one thing I was stressed about but working with Prashant made it incredibly easy because he was so organized and on top of it all. At our wedding reception, everyone that interacted with DJ Rocky is still raving about how kind he was and how he focused on making sure our guests had a blast. There was a small issue with sound reaching into another room during speeches but DJ Rocky worked with my brother and brother in law and solved the issue in a matter of minutes and I only heard about the snafu after the fact and didn't even know anything had happened! That's what I call AMAZING. I already know of 2 guests that are going to be reaching out to Prashants team for their respective events and I will continue to highly recommend his team and services. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU again for everything!! DJ Rocky was a blast to have and if I could do it over again I would definitely use Prashant and his team. read more

DJ Prashant is one of the most skilled and genuine DJs I know. When I was searching for a DJ for our Indian/Punjabi wedding, I wanted someone that would mix on his own terms to keep the dance floor packed. I didn't want to provide him with every single song to play. I wanted him to improvise and be creative. We love to dance with friends and family. For our wedding, we did not want a moment where the dance floor was even remotely empty. Dj Prashant did not disappoint! He kept the dance floor packed all night! All of my family loved his mixing and he even took requests and played them almost immediately. Very accommodating DJ and I cannot thank him enough for making our wedding weekend one of the best ever. I highly recommend that you book DJ Prashant for your next event! The lighting system was on fire for both the sangeet and wedding reception nights. He also killed it at the Baraat. We absolutely cannot thank him enough! read more

I highly recommend DJ Prashant for an Indian Wedding DJ in Chicago! He was recommended to us through a friend (he was the DJ at her wedding) and everything she said about him is true! He was prompt in his initial responses, provided us with a well laid out contract, was quick with editing our slow dance songs, offered us plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and gave us sound feedback on song selections and song beats. On the day of our reception, he provided an excellent mixture of Bollywood and American music, which had amazing sound quality. DJ Prashant was a phenomenal part of our wedding ceremony, I would highly recommend him as an Indian Wedding DJ in Chicago. What I liked most about working with him was how professional, thorough, and detail oriented he was before the event. We had 2 phone conversations after filling out his spreadsheet with our Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding and Reception details, and in addition to following through on a number of very specific requests regarding our unique ceremony, he also had thought of things such as the dandiyas for Raas that otherwise would have been annoying to figure out elsewhere. He was great about working with our families who didnt want us as the couple to know what they would be performing to during the sangeet, and did a great job being flexible with specific requests of our performers on the fly. People had a ton of fun at all of our events and he was a crucial part of the process. read more
