DJ Jennefa was recommended to us by our venue as "the DJ who knows how to get people on the dance floor." That was 100% true at our wedding - the dance floor literally never had a lull all night long. Plus, she was an absolute delight to work with in the months leading up to our wedding! She's fun, personable, organized, and very talented. As part of our wedding, she even helped us celebrate our cross-cultural reception with a Venezuelan hora loca and was very accommodating throughout. We didn't have a wedding planner but DJ Jennefa was so helpful in drafting a timeline, advising on the flow & order of events, and ensuring the event was seamless on wedding day. We highly recommend working with DJ Jennefa! read more

Long overdue ten star revue, if they'd let me! Midnight October 27th, 2014 at the California Clipper in Chicago Jennefa Krupinski officiated our marriage in top hat and tails. I contacted her two weeks before our guerrilla wedding that was to be held 6 hours before my husband would have to leave for the UK. Jennefa came through far above anything we could have dreamed of. Including, but not limited to, gumball machine swag rings so that we could exchange vows in style. Jennefa's fun and creativity made our night what it was. This fabulous lady can do more than DJ should the need arise. Also, shout out to the California Clipper for being cool with it all and joining in the fun. When we exchange vows again in a more traditional manner we will definitely be asking her to do the deed again. Sincere love, Very happily married in London read more

Jennefa is an INCREDIBLE DJ! I literally love her so much and wish she could DJ my life! We hired her for our wedding last summer and I'm finally getting around to writing her a review. She met with us and asked us tons of great questions to really make sure that she played music that we vibed with. On top of knowing so much about music, she is an amazing human. From her super cute style to her amazingly nice and funny personality, to her DJ skills, she's the full package! I had so many people come up to me during and after our wedding to tell me that hands down we had the best DJ they'd ever heard at a wedding and I know I'm biased but I couldn't agree more. She made a playlist that was exactly what I would have picked for my wedding, but way better because obviously she's a pro. Jennefa is the real deal! Do yourself a favor and book this music queen! read more

DJ Jennefa was an absolute delight to work with. She was the DJ for our wedding reception and did an incredible job. We got so many compliments on the music throughout the night from friends and family. There were young kids at our wedding who stayed on dance floor quite late and Jennefa did a wonderful job of playing music that was both cool and family friendly. She was an absolute joy to work with throughout our wedding. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She's amazing! read more

Seeking out the right DJ for our 10/13/18 wedding was a top priority for us once the ball starting rolling on planning for the Big Day. A mutual friend set us up to meet Jennefa and we will forever be grateful for that connection. As we discussed our ideas and got to know each other, DJ Jennefa maintained her professionalism while making us feel like we were just hanging out or meeting up for drinks with a friend. She enthusiastically welcomed our ideas about the evening's music, overall vibe and based on our general vision. The dancefloor was full all night long. Everyone from older family members to younger cousins have commented on how cool the music was and how great the scene was on the dancefloor. She even managed to play the less popular songs on our preferences list while keeping the dance energy way up! Heck, she was dancing and jamming too! The night was perfect. Jennefa steered us seamlessly from one phase of the reception to the next allowing us to genuinely enjoy ourselves and be present in the moment. We were in good hands throughout the evening and woke the next day wishing to do it all over again. If Yelp would let us we'd give her a thousand stars. read more

Jennefa was a BLAST to have as our DJ! She was so awesome about holding our hands through the prep process - selecting songs for dances, getting a sense for the vibe we wanted, and having quick answers to, "What if my Uncle Tim requests Free Bird?" (in short: if the floor wants it, she'll play - unless of course you've added it to your do-not-play list!) On the morning of, as my dad and I were rehearsing a few dance moves to a Blues Brothers tune, Jennefa goes, "do you want me to do the intro (in the song) on the mic for that? I can personalize it to the wedding details..." and we were all HELL YES!! DO IT!! She knocked it out of the park on "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love!" People were cheering! People were dancing! It was SO awesome!! Oh, and after the reception concluded and everyone was still pumped up, and decision was quickly made that 30+ of us were going to play mud volleyball RIGHT THEN AND NOW, Jennefa whipped out a boombox and provided ambiance for our shenanigans - AND played mud volleyball with us. You should totally hire Jennefa - both for her mad DJ skills and her blossoming mud volleyball skillz ;) read more

We had an excellent DJ and event coordinator in Jennefa. We were totally confident in her abilities because she has a ton of experience with large events and excellent taste in music. And we were right! Tell her everything, what you want and what you don't, and let the magic happen. Our guests had a blast, she kept the party popping, managed the event timeline and coordinated with vendors -- and we didn't have to worry about micromanaging the evening. Just what we wanted. Now for the gravy: Even among the many talented DJs in Chicago, Jennefa has an uncommon ability to read a room. She also has a fantastic sense of humor, and if you've ever planned a major (stressful, life-changing) event, you know how important that can be! Thank you Miss Jennefa! read more

Hire DJ Jennefa for your wedding (or any other event) - you will not regret it! Jennefa was fantastic to work with from start to finish. During our planning process, she responded to emails quickly, made helpful suggestions, and made sure we developed a realistic timeline. The day of our wedding she executed everything flawlessly and kept our timeline on track. Her energy on the dance floor was amazing, and she kept the crowd at our small wedding engaged and dancing constantly! Not only is she an incredible DJ, but she's a wonderful person - she's kind, personable, and hilarious. We wish we could hold a wedding and hire her every weekend! read more

DJ JENNEFA IS THE BEST! Jennefa DJ-ed our daughter's 15th birthday party. It wasn't a quinceanera, but it was a big party with 3 dozen teenagers at our home. I was very worried that the kids wouldn't dance--awkward age, etc. But Jennefa had them out on the floor from beginning to the end. She worked with the theme my daughter gave her and off of a spotify playlist she provided, but Jennefa made it her own. She curated the playlist, added her own ideas, and kept the party hopping. She's also just a very cool person to work with--responsive, fun, warm, available, engaged. Also, can I just say: let's support women DJs! You've gotta hire her. I'd give her 100 stars if I could. read more

If you are looking for a fantastic DJ who will be detail oriented, high energy, and easy/fun to work with, Jennefa is your woman! Literally, I would not consider even for a moment hiring anyone other than Jennefa. The minute we met with her, we were sold. My (now) husband and I looked at each other after our first meeting with her, and literally said "Well, who is going to top her?" The answer is no one. Throughout our wedding planning journey, which was extended due to Covid, Jennefa was flexible and positive the entire time. At our wedding, Jennefa collaborated last minute with our officiant to infuse some unique flare in our ceremony (when our officiant elicited the #FreeBritney call and response/toast during our ceremony - I am a HUGE Britney fan - Jennefa played various clips of Britney's music to coordinate). This was unexpected but made for a memorable ceremony. During the reception, Jennefa played every song my heart could wish for and kept the energy high all night. Don't look any further; book Jennefa NOW. read more

Jennefa DJ'd our wedding last July, and she was wonderful. When we met before the wedding, we didn't have a long list of songs, but we told her what kind of music we wanted and what bands we liked, and she was able to come up with an awesome playlist for us. We had our wedding and reception in the same place, and Jennefa was there the whole time with us. She was instrumental in keeping things moving smoothly from toasts, to dinner, to dancing. We loved her and our parents thought she was the best DJ they had ever seen. Can't recommend her enough! read more

Jennefa was a pleasure to work with and she made the stressful business of planning a wedding so much easier. When you hire Jennefa you not only get a talented DJ that will work with you to find the perfect set of tunes, but also someone that has a lot of wedding planning experience and is chock full of great suggestions and advice. When we left our first meeting with Jennefa, a few months in advance of the wedding, we knew we had hired the right person. She not only asked us questions about ourselves and our tastes in music but helped us envision how the entire reception would go. She asked just the right questions to get us thinking about what we needed and wanted for our big day. The day of, Jennefa kept people on the dance floor and played all of the requests we had given her, along with a lot of other great songs that our friends and family loved. Also did a great job keeping our guests requests in line with our musical tastes (if you tell her not to play a certain song or genre, it isn't going happen, despite your drunken buddy's pleading and begging!) We are so glad we hired Jennefa for our special day and highly recommend her. read more

We booked Jennefa for our wedding, and it was the best decision we made! She is so easy to talk to, professional, and responsive, and we really enjoyed working with her. Booking Jennefa was the best decision we could have made! She was prompt and professional in her communications and very attentive to details. She is also so much fun! Jennefa turned our wedding into the dance party we were wanting. She knew exactly what to play and when. We had so many guests commenting on the amazing music selection. Of all the things that we received compliments about our wedding, the music was on the the top of the list. Jennefa DJ'd our wedding and did an amazing job. She met with us months before the wedding to get a better idea of what we were looking for. We had a list of songs we wanted and gave her a list of specific ones to play, and she had no problem doing that and making sure songs were played at the right time in the evening. She also had a ton of her own tunes she used that really got our guests dancing, as she clearly knew how to feel out the crowd and set the tone. Needless to say everyone had an amazing time and danced their ass off. I have pictures to prove it! Can't recommend her more! read more

Jennefa was the DJ for our June 1st wedding and she was AMAZING! Having a solid DJ was a MUST for us because we have had some bad experiences at previous weddings and we both have friends/family that like to dance (as do we!). We first heard (literally) Jennefa at a friend's wedding two years ago. My husband and I raved about the music and my friend had nothing but great things to say. During the planning process Jennefa really listened to our needs/wants and offered advice when we needed it! She was extremely professional but also very easy to talk to and feel comfortable with. When we arrived to our venue the day of, Jennefa was set up and ready to go, and she helped us with the timing of everything. She was hands down the best DJ we could have asked for - she kept the party going all night and got people on the dance floor that I have never seen dance at other weddings. I would recommend Jennefa without a single hesitation - a friend of mine who is getting married next year decided to book her after attending ours! read more

Jennefa was incredibly helpful as a wedding coordinator for our November wedding at Kitchen Chicago. She met with us regularly in the months and weeks before the event, helping us to brainstorm about the layout, the schedule, and the execution. She had an excellent sense of what was important, making sure that we did not miss critical details. She also provided some context about what was conventional and what our guests might expect - even though she was very clear that this was our event and any choices we made were just fine. Whenever we were uncertain about something, she was a valuable sounding board. She was always accessible, and it was easy to communicate with her. Recommended! read more
