The pre planning meetings and tools were so helpful for us, and essentially helped us think of logistics that we hadn't planned for since we didn't hire an event planner. We cannot rave about Luniks enough. Daniel (the owner) is the main point of contact throughout the wedding planning process. He is the most organized person I have ever met. His organizational skills eased the stress of wedding planning. He is so responsive, makes sure to get every detail just right, and works with couples to get the music they want. At our final walkthrough, Daniel helped us create a detailed timeline (several pages long!) with every detail of the wedding. The portal used to pick songs is so easy to use and Daniel made sure to double check every song we wanted played correctly at our final walkthrough. We had several spaces at our venue that needed AV-Daniel even went so far as to visit the venue on his own and work directly with the venue to make sure the equipment and setup would be seamless on the day-of. For our wedding, we had DJ Alex. He was so responsive to us as well. Our main request to him was to keep people dancing all night long for the reception-and let me tell you EVERYONE (old and young) were dancing all night long. Hit after hit after hit! My review of the DJ is from the Best Man perspective. I emailed Daniel and Luniks Entertainment about a unique request: projector and clicker for my Best Man Speech. Not only was Daniel very responsive but he gave me a few options and recommended the right one for the venue. The venue was a bit on the smaller side so he was able to get the projector where it wasn't in peoples way but they were able to see. The best thing about Daniel is his responsiveness. I would email him and he would email me back quickly with his response. He was also very responsive to my brothers request for certain music, playlist, etc. Great music and played at the right time during the actual wedding. He was also able to hook up the sound for the trio that was playing for the ceremony and cocktail hour. If it weren't for him, the trio wouldn't have sounded nearly as good. Daniel was absolutely amazing from the start! When we first met him, I had 2 other appts to meet with other DJs but Daniel just rocked it from the start that I cancelled the other appts. He is very professional, organized and reliable from all my wedding vendors! He made a mix for our first dance, and it turned out great. He is also highly responsive with emails or texts. Daniel from Luniks Entertainment was legitimately one of the highlights of our Sunday brunch wedding day (with karoake!). He did an absolutely fantastic job! We cannot thank him enough for making our wedding day flow flawlessly and he was so fun and positive. Everyone complimented our DJ choice, including my very hard to please father who said "wow, that DJ of yours was perfect!" He was really good at reading the crowd. I was a little worried about what music was right for both my husband's family (white Virginians) and my family (black Chicago South-siders) and all of our friends (every type of person under the sun in their late 20s/early 30s). Originally I had told him that we wanted to play oldies during cocktail hour and brunch and then 90s pop and hip hop during the reception but he must have known that that was the wrong choice and instead put on Earth, Wind, and Fire, MJ, Whitney, and the Beatles and that got the dance floor going for our crowd! It was PERFECT. He timed and played my processional music great and was a GREAT karaoke DJ! I was so scared to have karaoke at my wedding that a few weeks before the big day I expressed to Daniel that I was thinking about nixing it but he talked me down and told me everything would be great.
