We couldn't be happier with ShutterBooth Chicago! From start to finish, their team was responsive, organized, and professional. They made the whole process stress-free, and everything ran perfectly on our wedding day. The booth itself was fantastic, everyone had so much fun with it, and it kept guests entertained all night. It truly added something special to our celebration! read more

We had an amazing experience with ShutterBooth at our wedding at Artifact Events! They were really easy to work with. Kelly helped us design the photo strip exactly the way we wanted, and it turned out perfectly. On the wedding day, our attendant Gisselle was wonderful. She arrived on time, was warm and friendly with our guests, and kept everything running seamlessly. Our guests absolutely loved the booth, especially that they could receive both physical prints and digital copies, plus fun boomerangs. We also loved getting a full set of all the photos a week or so after our wedding. ShutterBooth was a great addition to our wedding celebration and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a photobooth. read more

We went with ShutterBooth for our wedding and it was a huge hit! Our guests had so much fun taking photos at the booth. The printed photo strips were so cute! ShutterBooth even helped to design a custom logo for our wedding. The photos look amazing, we are very happy with their service! read more

ShutterBooth did it again! We first used them for our cousin's wedding back in 2021 and had such a great experience that we knew we had to book them again for my second cousin's wedding--and once again, they did not disappoint! The memories we made bring us so much joy. We loved everything about it. The attendant was so friendly and professional--she guided us and our guests with such ease and warmth. The props were a blast and definitely a fun bonus that everyone enjoyed! We had a little difficulty deciding on our logo and layout, but Crystal and Kelly were so patient and helpful. They worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were happy--and we absolutely were. The backdrop looked amazing, and the printouts were the perfect keepsake for our guests. Plus, the digital gallery afterward was such a great bonus! Our friends and family are still talking about how much fun they had. Honestly, ShutterBooth has become a tradition for our family events--and we wouldn't have it any other way. If you're thinking about booking them... DO IT! The entire process was so smooth and stress-free. 10/10 recommend! read more

ShutterBooth was incredible to work with! Kelly was responsive and worked with us to remain in our budget! All set-up/clean-up was seamless and we didn't have to do anything on our wedding day but enjoy and take pictures! We opted to use the photobook rather than a traditional guest book, and ShutterBooth was able to get extra prints and had all of our friends and family write notes to remember the night. Such a great experience and cannot recommend ShutterBooth enough! read more

We used Shutterbooth for our wedding and it was amazing! We booked the Mag Mile Deluxe package and working with Kelly and team on all the details was so easy (backdrop, photo layout, props, etc.). Our guests LOVED the Photo Booth and we appreciated the variety of options to deliver the photos (print and digital copies). The best part was the guest book - the attendant ensured a copy of every photo was added to a scrapbook for our guests to sign. It's an amazing keepsake for our wedding! A Photo Booth at a wedding is always a great idea and we have absolutely no regrets choosing Shutterbooth! read more

ShutterBooth EXCEEDED expectations! I've never seen a photobooth like ShutterBooth and would highly recommend them. Everybody at our wedding LOVED the photobooth and we received several compliments on it. Guests were literally lined up the whole night wanting to take pictures. They also had amazing props and besides taking pictures, guests could even record gifs! This was very unique. Every guest received a print and received a digital copy. After the wedding, we also received the digital copies of the pictures, which was a great touch. Leading up to the wedding ShutterBooth was very easy to work with. We added a boxwood wall and a custom neon sign for the backdrop and they were very accommodating and helpful when we had questions on the neon sign (since we purchased that separately.) They helped us in recommending the correct size and what they needed to hang the sign on the boxwood. The day of the wedding, the setup was great and the neon sign looked amazing! Ahead of time we also chose what size prints we wanted and they designed a custom logo to put on the printed photos. We got to choose what kind of custom logo we wanted! We also received several compliments on the size of the prints. We had a 4x6 with 3 images on the print, which you don't see often at weddings. This was very unique and people really liked how the images were printed larger then your typical strip. It was also very high quality and classy. One of the things that we loved most though was the amazing photobook we received after the wedding with everyone's message. We had a ShutterBooth attendant at the photobooth and every print also went into a photobook and the guests wrote a message next to their photo. This was something that came in our package so it was a bonus, but I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as we have! The photo guest book was such a nice addition to the wedding. It has been so special to go through the book and read everyone's message. The ShutterBooth attendant was also very diligent to put all of the prints in the book and encourage everyone to write a message. The whole photobook was filled! Even one of my bridesmaids commented on what a great job they did. Overall, ShutterBooth is not your typical photobooth company. They exceed expectations on all levels. You will not be disappointed by hiring ShutterBooth for your wedding or next event! read more

Wedding Review. We recently used ShutterBooth-Chicago for our wedding after they were recommended through our venue The Walden Chicago. We could not be happier with our decision! From our initial consultation with the owner Kelly (who was willing to chat on the phone to answer any and all of our questions!) to the digital prints we received the week after our event, everything was perfect. We wanted a simple photo booth option and ShutterBooth provided just that with their open air free standing booth with digital and tangible prints package. ShutterBooth's prices were far more affordable then other companies that we had reached out to and their staff's communication prior to our wedding was impeccable. They also were extremely collaborative and allowed us to design our own logo for the prints and bring our own photo booth props. Our guests had a great time checking out the booth during our cocktail hour and reception. If one thing was to change, we would have liked the staff member running our booth to be a little more interactive with the guests. We hope to use ShutterBooth in the future and we will definitely be recommending the company to our friends and family! read more

The Shutterbooth team was amazing for our wedding. Friendly, responsive, and really worked with our venue to make our day perfect. The options for booths are plentiful, and almost everything is customizable. The guests absolutely loved the options (stills, gifs, animations, props), and it all made a very memorable guest book. Kelly was honest about what would work for our tight space and provided options, always with our best interests at heart. Kelly did the setup, running, and take down of the booth, and I heard nothing but wonderful reviews from the guests. I look forward to booking Shutterbooth in the future for even backyard parties! read more

I used ShutterBooth for my wedding and found them to be exactly what I was looking for. They were within our budget, responsive, professional, easy to work with, and went above and beyond. We booked ShutterBooth for our wedding a bit last minute but we are so glad we did! It was an absolute HIT with our guests and we loved receiving the digital album of all guest photos after the event. We'll be cherishing these memories for years to come! read more

I was a very happy bride but a grumpy, reluctant wedding planner and Kelly at Shutterbooth made everything so damn easy I was actually a little surprised. Yes, their quote was higher than a few other places I contacted but given what was included and THE COMMUNICATION it was probably the best extra $100 I spent. My wedding venue was in a very old building with awkward access and strict rules about flash photography. I wanted to use the enclosed booth to honor the venue's wishes but was concerned about getting it inside. They went out of their way to make sure the setup was possible. And the photos! I've participated in a lot of event photo booth pics because I drink and make fun choices. Most of the time the photos are mediocre because the equipment is mediocre but Kelly told me they were an all Canon shop and you can absolutely tell in the pictures. If we put two people or crammed twelve people in that enclosed booth it didn't matter. Everyone was lit properly and every single photo was sharp focused adorable party chaos. I ultimately decided to NOT HIRE A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER because it's such an enormous expense for what is usually very mediocre work. Why spend $3000 on some weekend warrior with a fancy camera who has no actual artistic ability? I wanted real moments. Between my friends with iPhones and Shutterbooth giving me everything I wanted and more, I literally have my dream wedding album for a fraction of the typical cost. If you're going to hire a photo booth of some sort, don't cheap out. These guys are amazing and they should probably hire me as a spokesperson or something. read more

We used Shutterbooth Chicago for our downtown Chicago wedding. They were great, and included unlimited prints plus gifs & digital photos. Everyone had a blast! With the digital sharing, the line can get backed up with people entering their phone/emails after taking photos, so if you're concerned about that, just let your guests know that you receive a full gallery after the wedding and can send it out to them! Highly recommend for any Chicago event! read more

good service, fast and reliable. Have used them before and have not disappointed. thank you

Not only were they responsive and on top of the logistics, but the photo booth itself was awesome. More than just print out's. Loved getting the gif's and digital version of all images after the event, and people could text themselves the photo's right after they finished. For the price, it was some of the best money we spent on our wedding. Would recommend this company to anyone. read more

We used ShutterBooth for our wedding this October and the pictures are awesome. They put together a guestbook of photo strips for us that we got to enjoy literally the morning after the wedding. The staff was absolutely amazing and made the atmosphere fun and welcoming! Not only did they get our guests to have fun with the pictures, they made sure to find us to take pictures before the night was over. Oooooooo, photobooths! That travel! My experience with Shutterbooth is more on the other side of things... Yes, I was snatched into the booth for a quick shot, but I more dealt with them on the back end/party planning side of things. From start to finish, Cheryl is a portable photobooth wizard. Friendly, prompt, creative, comfortable...awesome. It's the type of vendor you want on your side at a shindig. Weddings, events, whatever...people LOVE photobooths. It's the perfect little, pocket-sized momento from a party, too :) They set up quickly, and clean up quickly. They work with the party to make it fun. Efficient. I like it. Photo strips. I LOVE it. They just...take care of things. No worries on my side, they ran it like champs! It's pretty much the difference between an "excellent" gathering and "rocked-my-photobooth lovin' socks off" party. And really, that's what your guests will be talking about. Not ugly little soaps, glass picture frames with frosted text, blah, etc. Let them take these goofy pictures of themselves home....(from a wedding). But, really...I'd hire them to set up in my house for awhile, for any party. Cool. read more

I'll never know where my addiction to photo booths came from. But yet there is something about stepping behind the curtain, pushing a button and laughing at yourself that makes some of the best pictures ever. When I see a photo booth either vintage or new- I cajole whoever is with me to step into the space behind the curtain to create memories of events. ShutterBooth is one of the best. Having been introduced to them at the Yelp holiday party over a year ago- and having them at my own holiday party this year- these guys do it right. Their photo booths are large enough to accommodate sizable groups (photo booth fun is always additive, ya know). You push the B&W or color button and you are on your way. The trick is to get close to the camera and to do something, anything . . .don't just stand there people, have some fun! And then presto- your time is done and within 15 seconds the pics come out and you are laughing with your friends at your antics. Great, patient staff for we "repeat offenders". And even better- they take care of all the set up and tear down. So feed your inner photo booth addiction and have them at your next gathering. Funny, fabulous fun! read more

Love love LOVE Shutterbooth and the awesome photo booth, props, and on-the-spot memory book with ALL guest photo strips provided on our wedding night! Found this company through the Kenilworth Club's recommended vendors list. I happened to snag a $400 off promotion by booking our date with Shutterbooth 10 months in advance. I also scored 200 free bookmark sleeves by commenting on the Shutterbooth facebook wall, so keep your eyes peeled for bonus promos like that! It was extremely easy to coordinate logistics with Cheryl, the owner. We especially appreciated how willing Cheryl was to communicate with the managers at Kenilworth to plan out final day-of set up logistics. Tricia, the rep who (wo)manned the booth the night of our wedding, did a fantastic job. I loved how quickly and efficiently our personalized photo strip guest book came out, and Tricia handed it to us at the end of the night, completely compiled and with guest comments, signatures, and everything! Other perks: - in the booth, you can choose black + white or color photos - the electronic files of all photos were sent to us after the wedding. These files could be viewed in grid, photo strip, or individual picture form. Highly, HIGHLY recommend! read more

We used ShutterBooth Chicago for our wedding, and Kelly and the SBC team were absolutely amazing!! In addition to being super warm, friendly, and kind, here are a few things that made them stand out: - Flexibility and options: There were lots of ways to customize the perfect package for my husband and me. For example, there were several options for picture layout (strips vs. 4x6), backdrop design, props, logos...so much more than we could have imagined. We really appreciated the flexibility and choice! - Professionalism: Communication was always very clear and prompt/timely. Organization/planning beforehand AND execution on the big day were perfect! We also appreciated that they double, if not triple checked, our request forms to make sure everything was to our specifications. Kelly was our go-to, so it was very helpful to have a solid, reliable point of contact for any needs. - Awesome props: We consider ourselves very picky about our photo booth props, and SBC nailed it!! We loved the different hats and the hook hand. In the end, we didn't have time to make custom props, but SBC was also very flexible about us bringing in our own props if we wished. - Custom logo: Andrea, the designer, created a custom logo for us that we loved! It was truly awesome to have the ability to personalize our own, unique photo booth logo. - Help and support at the event: After our wedding, several guests came up to us and complimented how "the ladies running the photo booth" (Kelly and Maria) were very nice, and very helpful. We really appreciate that they went above and beyond to make our guests feel so welcomed and have a good time! - Options for extra picture strips: This feature turned out to be key, so that each guest could take home a memento instead of one person getting it if there were, say, 4 different people in the picture. It goes without saying that we and our guests appreciated it, so no one had to "fight" over who got to keep the picture, or had to choose whether to keep it or put it in the guestbook. - The guestbook/scrapbook: WOW. Just. WOW. We were so impressed by how it was put together by our guests -- under the guidance of Kelly and Maria -- and it was awesome that we could customize the colors of the paper AND even the pen color for our guests to sign! - Details: SBC just really nailed the details, from the color pens we wanted for people to sign the guest book, to which entrusted person we wanted the guestbook handed to after the event was done. This level of detail was SO thoughtful, and organized so well in advance that my husband and I didn't have to worry about it at all on our big day! Pricewise, after looking at 2-3 other photo booth companies, we found ShutterBooth to be very reasonably priced relative to its competitors. However, what really stood out to me was the value. Sure, a photo booth is an investment, but we felt like we really got our money's worth with the excellent customer service and autonomy. Overall, we received a lot of high praise from our guests about the photo booth - people loved the photo printouts and had a ton of fun. Our loved ones are still raving about it 1+ months out! My husband and I absolutely love the scrapbook they created for us - it's one of my favorite physical tokens from our wedding. I would HIGHLY recommend ShutterBooth Chicago for your photo booth needs. I couldn't imagine entrusting anyone else with these invaluable mementos on our big day! Thank you, Kelly, Maria, Andrea, and the SBC team! read more

As a wedding professional (planner) turned bride, I had a lot of options to reach out to for every vendor category, but the one that I knew I didn't need to think twice about was Shutterbooth! From the moment you inquire, Kelly takes the best of care of you from choosing the right booth type, to determining what type of props (or maybe no props!) are best for you. She even came to our final walkthrough to determine the best location for the booth that fit my (needy) needs of wanting it to be noticeable but not in the way, and came up with a fun way to use an existing painting at my venue to be the backdrop so it was as unique as possible! Crystal, her graphic designer, even helped bring my more is more attitude to life by incorporating my colors and patterns into the strip designs. We felt so taken care of by the Shutterbooth team and I could not have imagined Kelly, Jason and the rest of their team NOT being a part of our big day! read more

How the hell does everyone... and I mean EVERYONE... look so damn attractive in ShutterBooth photos? My friends got ShutterBooth for their wedding and no matter whether I got my pic at the beginning of the night, while my buzz was in full effect, or after I had danced all my make-up off and the sweat had soaked down to my ears, I was lookin' good. I found myself developing a crush on the photo booth operator after 4 or 5 strips and realized that I needed to cool it a bit. *I REALLY like having my picture taken* After the wedding we all collectively decided to have another party in the next year and all chip in for another 4 hour shutter booth rental and our DJ.
